I'm up for selling the Medical and Food STCs. Difference would be marginal, but it would help slightly.

I have a spreadsheet out and am working on the numbers. I tell you if I come up with something.

Right counting relic creds 20 from ship 17 from armour 8 from forges so 43 so we need to convert 14,000 credits to reach 50

Sure no general stcs (the ones at the top) but I'm fine giving them all the named examples

@Durin
1. AM less turbo lasers?
1. you will have to convince the council for that, you have agreed not to sell much military tech

The ones at the top were what I was referring to, its the only way we can afford everything and the techmarines will look after it since its so valuable.

Then let's keep it to food and medical stcs then.

But these are not things the marines would keep they're meant to be distributed to the general population.

I've got two plans.

The first one only sells things we agreed upon selling and buys everything but the Angel Steel
[] Plan What We Agreed Upon
We buy:
3 Relic Credits= Terminator Armour
10 Relic Credits and 1,000 Credits= Ultra Dense Alloy (used in Battle Barges)
250 Credits= Baal Predator
250 Credits= all other Astartes equipment
1 Relic Credits and 1,000 Credits= Cathedral of the Omnissiah (AM)
2 Relic Credits and 10,000 Credits= Grand Cathedral of the Omnissiah (AM)
4 Relic Credits and 500 Credits= Cathedral of the Machine-God (RM)
10 Relic Credits and 5,000 Credits= Grand Cathedral of the Machine-God(RM)
1000 Merchantman and Naviagtor
Total 30 RC, 23000 C
We sell:
847*2 Credits= +1% of General STCs (max 1,847.76 or 847 if you stay to Imperial)
150*10 Credits= +1% Medical STCs (max 220 or 150 if you stay to Imperial)
20*15 Credits= +1% of Food Production STCs (max 76.5 or 20 if you stay to Imperial)
50*20 Credits= +1% of Advanced Material Production STCs (max 660.75 or 50 if you stay to Imperial)
10*25 Credits= +1% of Exotic Material Production STCs (max 263 or 10 if you stay to Imperial)
Total 4744 Credits from STCs
1,000 Credits= Royal Basalisk
5 Relic Credits= Advanced Astartes Power Armour: Elite
2 Relic Credits= Advanced Astartes Power Armour: Destroyer
3 Relic Credits= Advanced Astartes Power Armour: Raider
4 Relic Credits= Advanced Astartes Power Armour: Recon
3 Relic Credits= Advanced Astartes Power Armour: Ace
20 Relic Credits and 2,000 Credits= Helheim Pattern Defence Cruisers and the naval technology that they use
2500=500*5 Credits= 1 Fell-Call Tank (up to 500)
Total 37 RC, 10244 C
Convert 7 RC to C: 30 RC, 24244 C

The other one buys everything and sells what we agreed upon + factories + all the med-tech + a lot of AM/EM STCs above imperial level. The idea behind that is to become their supplier of basic materials (given we'll be much more effective in producing them), using trade ties to cement our relationship.

[x] Plan Raw-Exports Role
We buy:
3 Relic Credits= Terminator Armour
10 Relic Credits and 1,000 Credits= Ultra Dense Alloy (used in Battle Barges)
250 Credits= Baal Predator
20 Relic Credits= Angelsteel (near unbreakable RM metal)
250 Credits= all other Astartes equipment
1 Relic Credits and 1,000 Credits= Cathedral of the Omnissiah (AM)
2 Relic Credits and 10,000 Credits= Grand Cathedral of the Omnissiah (AM)
4 Relic Credits and 500 Credits= Cathedral of the Machine-God (RM)
10 Relic Credits and 5,000 Credits= Grand Cathedral of the Machine-God(RM)
1000 Merchantman and Naviagtor

20*15 Credits= +1% of Food Production STCs (max 76.5 or 20 if you stay to Imperial)
580*20 Credits= +1% of Advanced Material Production STCs (max 660.75 or 50 if you stay to Imperial)
230*25 Credits= +1% of Exotic Material Production STCs (max 263 or 10 if you stay to Imperial)
Total 21544 Credits from STCs
1,000 Credits= Royal Basalisk
2 Relic Credits and 1,000 Credits= Adamantine Forges
6 Relic Credits and 5,000 Credits= Automated Forges
100 Credits= Auto-Doc Bed
5 Relic Credits= Advanced Astartes Power Armour: Elite
2 Relic Credits= Advanced Astartes Power Armour: Destroyer
3 Relic Credits= Advanced Astartes Power Armour: Raider
4 Relic Credits= Advanced Astartes Power Armour: Recon
3 Relic Credits= Advanced Astartes Power Armour: Ace
20 Relic Credits and 2,000 Credits= Helheim Pattern Defence Cruisers and the naval technology that they use
2500=500*5 Credits= 1 Fell-Call Tank (up to 500)
Total 45 RC, 33144 C
Convert 10000 C to RC: 50 RC, 23144 C

Part of me is thinking we may want to sell them more than what we buy for - it would make us look generous and set a better tone for our relationship with them.

How much do we value Terminator armor? If I add the General, Food, and Medical STCs we're at +3743 Credits and -5 Relic Credits. If we toss in a few AM, we can push it up to +4000 Credits and convert that to 2 Relic Credits, which would make us even without the Terminators.

We want it so we can have Tranth design an Advanced version. Though as I've said, we have more than enough to trade to get everything from them.

...Holy SHIT we can get Battle Barge armor.

That's insane.

The stuff gives you flat 75 across the board on all sides in BFG:A. Which is the same as normal Imperial prow armor.

What with us not being constrained by mere "Game Balance" by video game standards...

I kind of want to stat out Avernite warships in that now.

I am personally on the fence over Angelsteel. The APA designs cover the Relic cost of the Cathedrals, but the Defense Cruisers so just so highly valued.

@Durin, is there a limit to how many Relic Credits we can convert into normal ones?

Honestly, giving them the Defence Cruisers is quite riskless if we're worried about them attacking us.

I'm in support of that, they're purely defensive.

Well, unless they invade, capture our shipyards, and produce them over the planets, but that's a sufficient edge case I'm not worried.

Throwing my hat in the ring. Basically keeping to our discussed plan with some extras for Everything they have bar the Angelsteel. With some extra credit for us at the end.

[_] Plan ShadowNic94

@vsh The only thing I don't like about the second plan is not maxing out the Food STC's, the Nest being able to focus more on military production and less on food production would make them better potential trade partners wouldn't it?

If we just gifted them the Imperial STCs and the Food and Medical STCs, and we don't go for Angelsteel, we come out to -4550 Credits and +15 Relic Credits.

I am not strictly against, it's just that implementing food STC is IMO more likely to catch attention and warrant espionage than more secretive AM/EM or less obvious medical ones. And credit value of maxing it is negligible.

On the other hand, Food and Medical isn't something that many of our potential enemies would find particularly interesting at first glance. The smarter ones would care, but they would have greater concerns in the face of the impending Beast apocalypse.
