We've actually already got those, though only Tamia is as good as a Siren.

Actual Siren's themselves are a whole nother debate I do not want restarted cause it just goes round in circles.

Ah, thank you for telling me.

Also sorry for the siren comment, just want to have the ability to get bone singers. Just imagine the ability to generate any structure by sinning, or a gun, or hell even a vehicle!

Yeah, we are soooooooooooooooooo far away from even simulating bone singing that it isn't even funny.

Eldar are tech level 30 for a reason ya know.

In any case the Siren's ain't necessarily the way forward in that regard, they use runes.

Also its no problem.

darn, I just wanted to put to those smug space elves. Whelp I will just see what does the have for us.

@Durin

1. Who are the other big contributors to helping the Astartes set up their world/rebuild?
2. Who in the nine worlds are their biggest supporters politically?
3. What's Chapter Master Julius's thoughts on how things are going for his chapter?
4. His current thoughts on the Imperial Trust?

Thank you for your time :)

Thank you for your time :)
Not @Durin, but going by the info from the meeting and subsequent events I'll try to guess.

1. Who are the other big contributors to helping the Astartes set up their world/rebuild?
Svartfulhiem and Midgard would be my bet.

2. Who in the nine worlds are their biggest supporters politically?
Us to a large extent especially give the man power ect. we have contributed, Svartsfulheim (they get to sell them nice things) and Vanahiem as they gave Fyjol (their colony) to them.

3. What's Chapter Master Julius's thoughts on how things are going for his chapter?
Not enough time, not enough time, not enough time, not enough time.

4. His current thoughts on the Imperial Trust?
Lucky, but strong people, cured me and gave us a home, I'll certainly defend it.

Thanks Alex, your thoughts on this are much appreciated.
He got quite lucky there, great for the Trust that Lin pulled it off. The guys now only a few points away from getting some Paragon traits! Can't wait to see Julius and Horatius in action with our Astartes elite armor.

It's probably helped cement the loyalty within the veterans as well. All of those 14 soldiers who were the last original members of the 2nd and 7th companies, must have seen him before and after his injuries and curse and watched him degrade with no means of fixing it. Must have been harsh.

In any case Horatius was also only a single point off getting a Combat Paragon trait (he's on 49... you know maybe we should say come live here for a decade like a monk to get him an Avernite trait and that Paragon Trait :))

And yeah, the idea of Horatius in effectively Terminator Armour + with a jetpack and stealth capabilities (cause theirs can mount two packs) and an inbuilt Rosarius is simply amazing.

Now all we need is to let Tranth get his mits on actual terminator armour to upgrade it...

Also on the subject of Paragon traits, Azyr the Quartok's leader is on 48 when he arrived, and its been nearly a century (or something similar) we should check him cause he's definatly been her more than 20 years and so may have a paragon trait of his own.

Well you've been here for a hellva long time so you know what's up as far as I've seen. I'm just starting to try to get into this more than I have been, information is gold ;)

Sounds about right, the original 14 must be beyond stoked at this turn of events. Though going by the data sheet on the trust it seems like they've done a nice job of refilling their numbers since said original numbers arrived. We have more than a company's worth hanging around and who knows how many scouts at the moment. Scouts that will become even more likely to survive to become Astartes thanks to Recon Armor. If we get a good roll on it I could see the our Marines growing a lot faster.

We could always offer to do some cross training with him or something. Dueling with Jane might pick him up some good traits.

Do you know if they have any terminator armor left even? Though sort of outdated by now they do mount teleporters so it should be worth the action to upgrade them at some point eventually.

What I'd love to see more is Tranth getting his hands on one of their Dreadnoughts to examine. The very thought of a Trust upgraded Dreadnought makes me so giddy. Plus it helps preserve the knowledge of their pilot. Much better to have a Dreadnought than a dead Maeine after all.

Well I think you'll be glad to know that my thoughts on the Quartok changed. I used to think they were a massive political drain but now that they have been bleeding for the trust? They're good in my book!

Glad to help, though mostly I just have a very bizarre memory.

Yep the first intake was over 100 recruits with a potential hero marine thanks to omakes (Sar about 10 feet of silent Jotunhiem raised by Avernite, silent death) and 10 Lexicanium.

We could always offer to do some cross training with him or something. Dueling with Jane might pick him up some good traits.
We can certainly try, we can also offer to help them an anti psyker doctrine, though the witch hunter books may have made that irrelevant.

Yeah we could also offer to help them with smoothing out anti psyker doctrine if they let us.
Nope when they arrived they'd been taking damage for a while and they're techmarine was only capable of maintenance.

The unique bits they have are 2 Dreadnoughts, 2 sets of Centurion Armour (which we have a better version of Elite Destroyer) and relics.

No Terminator, which makes sense they're the remnants of the 2nd and 7th companies after all.

I'm pretty sure both are occupied at the moment, which isn't too bad most of the Dread we have better versions of assuming its the standard Castaferrum pattern.

The issue is the life support system is the one thing we don't have an I don't think prodding its a good idea if active.

As for upgrades well defiantly up to the level of the Contemptor pattern maybe even the venerable patterns used by Custodes, though I doubt it.

Long term investment mon ami :).

Best to start now so it'll pay dividends quicker.

Didn't we get help from the Inquisition, Midgard, and Musselphiem for batch one?
Inquisition: Inquistorial storm trooper augments and genetics stuff
Midgard: Chosen trainers to help iron out problems with the training regime
Muspelhiem: Subspace communicator
Niflehiem: Genesplicing device and Enhanced learning devices
Space Marines: 1000+ scout sergeant gave our plans a look through.
Svart: Nothing really, promise of master crafted gear.

Inquisition - training methods
Muspelheim - high-tech spy gear
Midgard - training methods
Svartalfheim - relic gear
Niflheim - gene therapy tech

I don't know what else we could use...maybe we can ask the Varangian Guard how they train young aspirants and how it could maybe help us? This first batch seems to have everything you could ever use that isn't psyker related.

Already did that, they sent their scout Sargent (1000 year + veteran) to have a look, gave quite a few tips.

At this point we're unlikely to upgrade their gear so my main hope is to upgrade their training even more.

Regardless I made a list of possible people we could ask
Admech (Myrmidons who am hesitant to ask)
Admech: Any specialist factions that maybe in the Nine Worlds.
Ask the Schola Psynastakana for specific rituals or if they can make specialist equipment and integrate more training against psykers at an early level if its already not included.
Svartfulheim: Equipment maybe relics they've got no tech to add, though we could always try again
Blood Dragons?: Probably not
Super mucsuper hunter guy: tracking skills/dat hunter trait.
Lin again see rituals or providing a higher success rate
Church: Probably folded in under Lin, but hey ho.
Asgard: They've probably got something for training
Jotunheim: Permission to train on planet?
Vanahiem: Void/Drop trooper training as we may need to deploy them as void troopers once in a blue moon (especially now that we've seen the need to deploy witch hunters in space)
Aflehiem: You never know, they've got a significant admech presence and who knows maybe a super food or two.
Inquisition: Anti cultist training as they are still experts on that
Grey Knights: When they're back in business so not for a while.
Muspel/Niflehime: Unlikely, but you never know.
Other specialists: What I mean is characters like Sir Pellanor (Grandmasters ect. of certain skills coming to make their course) so characters like Horatius making the course on Mace skills and if she isn't already Maria Paulson making a course on sniping (grandmaster sniper) people like that have to exist in the Trust besides on Avernus.

I'm aware they're occupied, I'm just figuring that Tranth could get enough information from a careful examination to make a trust dreadnought. Even if he can't figure out the life support all we'd have to do is modify DAOT life support to work for Astartes.

Ooo where is this tasty Omake?
Soon enough they'll have enough Librarians to make Magnus jealous. The thought of a bunch of Beta leveled Avernite Librarians all in a choir is almost too much.

YES!

I'm pretty sure the point is that its a system designed to work with Astartes physiology in mind and so can't just super charge a normal life support system and expect as good results.

Ooo where is this tasty Omake?
Trials and initiation
Training on Avernus
Training during Waargh Garkill.

Well they probably take the best of the best (so best control ect.), but becoming an astartes increases psycic power so :).

So, once Jane is done with Super-Elites Batch 1, who are we asking for help with Batch 2?

I was sort of hoping that everything Batch 2 on would be on auto-pilot (that is, handled by subordinates) and we wouldn't have one of Jane's action permanently tied up anymore.

I don't really want to put another 40 years designing and prototyping super-soldiers Mark 2 if we can just put the Mark 1 variety into constant production from now on.
