@Durin

1. How much Control would a Psyker need to hide themselves from active observation.
1a. Passive?
2. Is it practical for psykers to hide from Chaos.
2a. Orks.
3. Just wondering, what do Psykers look like to Ridcully?
1. it really depends on the skill of the observer, in general at least half again the skill of the observer
1a. around two thirds the skill of the observer
2. no, it is closer to impossible then practical
2a. yes, Orks suck at detection and stealth
3. hundreds of different things depending on the psyker, and sometimes the psykers mood

tin foil is cheap. Tin is not transmittable through radio waves.

Maybe we could give Surt a work of Avernite art and a space battleship in exchange for his life story. That and flying land-raiders, perhaps.

Edit: or just a party for his birthday along with wine, fruit, and a giant cake for everyone.
Hey Surt, we where just baking your birthday cake. How many candles do we need?

So Surt would in theory need 76 Control to hide from Ridcully's active observation. Though only 34 if Ridcully wasn't looking too hard at him.

1. Has Ridcully attempted active observation on Surt/other Council members?
1a. If found out would it be a faux pas?
1b. Is active observation, well, obvious?

1. no
1a. yes
1b. yes to any psyker or the more sensitive non-psykers, Jane for example could spot it

There are some weird equations in the Major Specialists section, like Veteran Zetas having 4-1=0.
1. Is this due to error, or losses that are not show here?

1. Durin, can we try diplomacy with the Deep Ones? Psychic energy snack bars siphoned from our psykers?

variable, at is worst as bad as your mess ups on Vanaheim at its best not much

due to error

given you are currently incapable of communicating with them no, obviously

So we have good relations with the whole Trust now with the lowest being at 8,
Possibly time to sneak in a Siren Trade while everyone else is distracted by the ending Warp storm.

Thinking of not getting tunnel vision about the outer galaxy, I couldn't find anything in the FAQ about this so…
@Durin In light of the fact that Ridcully is a vastly more capable Diviner now than he was when he arrived:
1 Does Ridcully think he can tell if there is any undiscovered tech in an unopened Ruin?
1a Would he need to be at the ruins to tell?
2 Do we actually know where are the ruins are or do we need to explore a region to find them?
3 Have the Siren being doing anything that we have noticed? Do they talk to our diplomats at all?
3a Does Ridcully keep an eye on the Siren?

1. because it seems impossible to remove and this way you can regulate it easily, among other things there is a maximum amount of time working in one
So in other words Jane and/or Frederick arranged for a fully professional, government-operated sex industry to make sure that whatever sex trade demand there is is dealt with in a wholesme manner. Starving out the Slaaneshi competition in other words.
The benefits for the job must be very high for people to work in that industry, given the stigma and sheer amount of oversight involved.

Does the Avernite government operate heavily regulated fighting clubs too, @Durin?

@Durin, it would be a faux pas if we had a Governor examined by a psyker, but if the Inquisition did it would they get a free pass?
yes
1. I don't suppose we can just project "HELLO" at them?
2. DId Veritas run into it while exploring the Deeps, or is it napping in a deep see trench he had the common sense not to enter?
1. you could try if you want to risk them deciding to wake up and kill tens of millions and find a psyker brave enough
2. no he did not, also them not it

1. no he does not
2. you need to explore the region to find them
3. no, they have not been doing much that interest you
3a. occasionally, he finds it impossible to scry within their cities however

yes it does, a lot more of then then brothels as well given Avernites
@Durin
1. Are we considered as part of the 'Peoples' of Avernus, by the Sirens?
a. Or some other classification?
yes
