@durin

1. Just checking, have we found any perpetuals?
2. Would any perpetual/empath/cognoscyth/omega blank/other rare and unusual/ character be given a character sheet?
3. What are the sorts of conditions that would cause a character to gain a character sheet?
4. What sort of traits/unusual abilities would be annoted on the Primaris list? (So far I've seen 'Healer' and 'Bonded with Siren Lady')

1. you have no clue what a perpetual is
2. probably
3. them being one of a kind and interesting enough for me to take the time to make one, or being in a powerful enough position
4. whatever seems fitting

Now I really want someone to do an omake where in a perpetual shows up because he was nostalgic about the Nine Worlds and is now really confused.

@durin this is just because I now cannot get the idea out of my head.

You are not rolling for a perpetual to be
a. Born
Or
B. Show up.
Are you?

When we're down to out last astropath, would they get character sheets? :p

Though cognoscyths might suffer from a 'Shoot on Sight' policy.

For character sheets, possibly there might be.. Iota region Liut-General position, Our original 3 Elite Primaris, Navigator House Paternova. Not sure what else there might be.

..Huh, there isn't an elite primaris listed for leader of the sanctionites, possibly because it's not important?..

Oh oh can I think I know the answer, due to an omake we got a bunch of DAoT survivors in Statis on one of the super battle ships, they came out millennia before us I believe, but its not inconceivable that they got rid of all the bodies?
Except human remains are still here IIRC, plus large amount of various equipment.

If someone cleaned up, why did they picked only killbots? In fact, we only have Muspelheim's statement about what happened here; How do we know that they were saying the truth?

1.I don't remember if it said we found bodies, remember these people were held in statis for thousands of years if there was any oxygen left then the bodies would have decomposed a long time before they got out.
2. Muspelhiem only told us that the command battleships would have the complete databases for the ships nothing else.
3. Why would they take the equipment there would be far too much to take and they would either still know how to make more or think there were others who could.
4. Because they wanted to make sure that nobody else could replicate them, it does of course raise the question why not purge the designs for the MOI and MOS from their data base, but I can't answer that.
5. @durin may be ****ing with us again, but he said
Its not confirmation, but it is one of the more likely scenario's than some large imperial/chaos plot.

Two last levels of forges seems like a something we need hard. Probably we should send scouts in direction of Atlas as soon as storm will end.
BTW, I'm not sure, but IIRC, there is another one Forge World somewhere in nearby sectors aside from Atlas. Am I mistaken, and if not, do we know about how are they doing now?

We don't there was a very good Omake where a bunch of them jury rigged some Statis grenades to a Super Capital's generator and survived that way.

Apparently the field gave out a few thousand years ago, odds are they went to Muspelhiem.

Yes, I missed many omakes. Need to check at least canon ones.

I can't remember if there was one, but if there was I'd wager its in Valinor.

Yeah.

When @durin gets back I think I should ask him to put on the front page a link to the omake sheets and ask people to read the canon one's as they go for some context.

That was one of mine! The short version is that during the navy battle a human force on the Hyper Carrier was one of the last groups holding out from a MoI boarding party. During a supply run they found a scientist who was studying the Time-Twisted Plains hiding in a Armory with his guards. When the MoI attacked he lost his chance to run for it so was making Statis grenades and shipping them around the fleet. Overwhelmed to buy time he ripped open some of them and jury rigged a Statis field to wait the MoI out. It's how we got Statis grenades in the first place. Here you go.

Not sure I understand what you are suggesting. Omakes are listed in the index. How would this be different?
A simple request that people go to them and read them, or at least the one's he's declared are canon.

I only have anecdotal evidence, but I personally went straight for the quest and was confused as hell by some of the things that went on when omakes were mentioned because I didn't think to look at them.

Well, maybe you missed it, but first post do contain list of omakes. Or do you mean that canon omakes should be added to the Index?

BTW, no my omake today. :(Mostly done, but now I clearly see that I need to rewrite about third of it. BTW, first part is about time from protagonist's birth to his realisation that he is in the anime.

We have all but the last level. However, we aren't able to build the next level just yet as we're not up to the level of AdMech population needed to do it.

Atlas is the one that is closest, at 500 LY away. With a Navigator, reaching it will take two years. Otherwise it would take twenty. Same for the return trip. We don't know of any others that are relatively close to us.

I will note that a trip to Atlas is probably something we don't want to do immediately. We need to get intel on them before making contact. If they have fallen to Chaos in any form or become Necron worshiping Dragon Cultists we do not want to get their attention. And even if they haven't, there's still some risk - as I recall, durin has stated that a large enough AdMech group might go to war with us just for the chance to seize our technology if we don't share it with them, especially if our own AdMech seems heretical due to the reforms we're undergoing.

Yeah, if we're really lucky the Gift of Mars turns up and its the final level because Avernus is Holy, but that seems like a pipe dream.

@durin I think the following should be on the FAQ since most of the Abominationist powers we'll be fighting will be using Imperial-era ships.
@durin - a few questions.
1. Roughly how much more powerful is a ship with the Ancient Defence Cruiser technology compared to one that doesn't have it?
2. How much more durable?
1. Around half again
2. Twice

EDIT: Actually those questions were for retro-fitted Imperial-era ships, pre-Datacore.
1) On average, how much more powerful are the DAoT naval weapons compared to their Imperial counterparts?
2) How about their range and accuracy?
3) How much more durable are the DAoT ships compared to their Imperial counterparts?
4) What's the ratio of ships that can be produced for the same amount of time, DAoT to Imperial?

1. A thought that just occurred to me. Have we, at any point, improved or upgraded our Gellar Fields? Maybe through our examination of the DAOT ships?

If the Abomination has no way of boosting the tech its slaves use I will eat my hat.

There are none, apparently they're as good as the Imperial ones.

The Well might have had better, but its geller fields are a puddle on the floor.

The Abomination AdMech probably very much allows for shoving "angylic" machine spirits into the tech.

EDIT - Actually, @durin could probably tell us if the Vangarian Guard's intel suggests that Valinor's ships are better than upper end Imperial.

There are none, apparently they're as good as the Imperial ones.

Well, we do have the designs for larger Gellar Field generators - we can actually make one that will cover the Hyper Carrier now, since we have the design for it.

And when the admech stop being whiny I suppose we could get Scott to re-purpose it for use over our cities.

We know that the second incursion is coming, we need to be prepared and Geller fields work around 30% of the time, which is 30% more than most things we can deploy on a large scale.
