I have to assume that any Dark God seeing a chance to corrupt Lord Admiral Solar Macharius at the height of his crusade would have taken it.

Well it can either be hand-waved away as Slaanesh seeing that those actions would ultimately benefit Him (Not necessarily Chaos as a whole) or just plain whim of a mad god (maybe he was enjoying the show).

Having the memories of the Birth of Slaanesh and looking upon Her not being corrupting that would be very jarring, for me at least.

Anyway, with my plan, we should have utterly cripple any chance of the cultists Bad-ending us. Next turn we can (hopefully) settle back to normal and begin fixing up Avernus, as well as our chain of command.

Doing two of Martial Law only adds +20 to the result, for +10% to the value.

It's probably a better use of the personal action to do an additional cultist hunt; doing a second martial law is a guaranteed +10% but if we roll averagely on Cultist Hunt it should be ~+18% (I think)

edit: that's using our effective intrigue value as the addition, but the actual bonus is 10 minus that? so expected value is +14.667%.
the boost to numbers is better then an equivalent boost to rolls due to being multiplicative rather then additive

They don't really see it, they see the eldar civilization going to hell and see their souls being nommed, but not Slaanesh itself.

In addition they were inside a weird pocket dimension with a reality manipulating machine that did odd stuff with a bunch of SWs and Macharius there.

I don't have the book at hand but I thought they saw slaanesh in the sky, nomming on souls. Sorry if that was wrong.

Munitorum

[X] Personal Attention: Martial Law: All
-[X] Double Down: Personal Attention: Martial Law: All
[X] Personal Attention: Lesson's Learned: Strength of Will
[] Recruiting
[X] Martial Law x2
[X] Martial Law x3

Recruiting must start now. EDIT - It was revealed another Martial Law here would probably save millions of lives, both military and civilian, in the long run. Delaying recruitment by one year is an acceptable risk.
Martial Law must start now. Doubling down. EDIT - Doubling up as well, as gives better return.
Personal attention on Strength of Will so we don't have to deal with cultists as much in the future, and it'll help when it finishes as well.

Administratum

[X] Rebuild: All
-[X] Expedite: Rebuild: All
[X] Quarantine: All

Rebuild must happen now. Expediting.
Quarantine must happen now.

Diplomacy

[X] Request Aid: Inquisition
[X] Request Aid: Imperial Trust Guard

Both must happen now.

Arbites

[X] Cultist Hunt: All
[X] Curfew: All

We need to hunt cultists. We need to put a curfew together to stop cultists from spreading.

AdMech

[X] Examine: Macrocannons
[X] In-depth Examination (Island Turtle)
[X] A Closer Look: Finishing Up
[X] Survey Slot: Detailed Survey (Youxia Class Escort Cruiser)

Not much to say here. Nothing here has to do with cultists - I are confused?:p

Ministorum

[X] Preach: All
[X] Preach: All x2

Cultists take top priority. Again.

Astra Telepathica

[X] Advanced Training: Tamia Jameson
[X] You Cannot Hide: All

We need to train up Tamia so we can get an extra slot ASAP.
Battle Psykers need to help out.

Personal

[X] General of Avernus(Lieutenant-General Leopold Schwarz)
[] Chief Administrator of Avernus
[] Speak to the People

[X] Speech: Every Man's Duty

We need to pick our general, and we need to pick our new admin. We lose actions by not having them.
Picking Richards because of this trait:
Avernus Officers Academy Professor (+6M, +4A, +3L, +2P, +3C, +5 to morale of force under her command, her subordinates are more likely to gain stats and triats)
The other generals will earn more traits that way.
EDIT - We can wait a year on our general. Speak to the People will hopefully ensure we stay at 10/10 morale, which also effects cultist numbers.
EDIT 2 - Changed back to getting a general and removed the Administrator action. We need a military action next turn for Extreme Measures that is likely to come up.
EDIT 3 - We got another +1 Morale for an omake, so switching out Speak to the People.

I took a quick looksie, I could have mis interpreted it wrong, but I thought they just saw either a memory of the event, or a representation of it.

Not enough to corrupt as long as they didn't think about it.

Well. I miscalculated the morale issue, it seems. >.>

Hail the bandwagon. Has almost everything I want anyway.

We don't really need another Martial action right now except to save the Double Down for other actions. Maybe we can do Speak to the People instead? Even durin said that keeping morale high is something we need to consider due to its effects on cultists. A single Speak to the People action with your plan would keep us at 10/10 morale.

Curfew: -1
Martial Law: -1
Quarantine: -1
Total: -3
Mathematical Error: -1

(Safe morale burn: -2)

Ts' Embarassing. :/

Anyway each point of morale burn over -2 will add quite a lot of cultists. 10% more, by my count. I would suggest eliminating the general action and adding in a 'Speak to the People' action instead. We don't have a dying need for martial actions at the moment.

One out of Six years completed (does not have to be chosen, will lose one year of completion every year it is not being worked on)

@durin What happens if we take time off an action, and the completion goes to zero? Do we lose the resources spent on it? (Since we are charged full price up front). Or does it become a "free" action that will take the full number of years to complete?

Reward: -5% cultist growth , +10% number of Cultists found , -50% all resource production for all cities, -1Civilian morale.

So I think this may be a hard one to decide on. The reduction in cultists is great, but we already have -50% production. Can we afford -100% production we get if we stack these?

Good point. I'll switch to that.

Though if someone writes an omake that gives us +1 morale, I'll switch back.

@durin - for "Personal Attention: Replace Orbital Weapons Platforms" would it really lose a year for not being worked on? We've already built 200 out of 300 of them, and the rest are at least partially complete - wouldn't those ones simply sit until we started working on them again?

Also, for others, if they go down to zero years will the costs be reduced for at least some of them when we start them up again due to already having paid for at least some of the equipment? (buying the Pilot Armor, Landspeeders, Goliaths, etc.)

you lose half of the resources spent

so would it be possible to do lessons learned strength of will as a personal action, and double down on it? If we crited on it we would probably get something that would be quite useful against the current cultist crisis.
