I can fix that easilly.

Send phase tiger kittens (Castrated) to the Governors as a gift. They'll be happy then because tiger cubs are cuties. <3

We should talk to Vanaheim. Even without knowing about the datacore, we still expect to start getting ships repaired within a decade. We also want everyone with sufficient defenses to have at least a small shipyard, which will probally use vanir orbital crew to build. Vanaheim will be crucial to both efforts and perhaps we can smooth over any hurt feelings.

Though we could always congratulate Garp on his marriage and ask if he wants to buy some knights for his household.

anything the guy collect over the years
which include alot of crazy shit from Titan, to full Imperium company, all the way to Vulkan the Primarch of the Salamander
i think he have an Inquistor in there or even one of the Emperor toenail

@durin It's noted that the Avernus Wildlife Review Board and the Avernus Wildlife Overview Committee are each made up of three members, none of which can be from Avernus. Is it specifically noted that members of the Review Board cannot hold seats on the Overview Committee and vice versa?

Good thing that an Avernite is not part of the review board or else things they see as no dangers would get passed that could lead to the destruction of the whole Trust!

Avernus natives have a very skewed idea of what is dangerous which comes with the fact they live in the most hostile environment in the galaxy that isn't a Daemon World.

there is a good reason Avernites were banned

You mean Trazyn the Infinite? He doesn't collect stuff because he's crazy, he does it because he's a troll. Well, that and he likes collecting things.

I wonder: are there enough interactions between Avernites and the others for the other worlds to have realized how skewed the Avernite sense of danger has become? durin made that omake with Avernus' increasing number of suicides canon, so the change has become pretty deeply ingrained by now.

EDIT: Apparently yes, yes there are. Haha

Helheim pattern Spartan
Now that that's the first parts over, I'm going to present my Spartan. The idea is that the Ancients used the Land Raider almost solely as part of exploration efforts, with this larger and more combat capable design fulfilling the roll of a heavy IFV for their elite forces. For an actual battle tank, they had the Baneblade patterns.

As a side note, if any of these tech write ups seem to be too slow, feel free to increase them proportionally. I'm basing these things on Forge World material, and we all know about Brittan's traditionally poor understanding of industry and engineering. (If you don't get the last part, feel free to google it. British Leyland was merely the cap stone of their institutional problems.)

Helheim pattern Spartan
The Helheim and Anvilus patterns of Spartan Assault Tank are only somewhat closely related designs. The impetus for their creation came from the same set of tactical necessities, and both draw from the same knowledge base, resulting in similar vehicles. Like the Anvilus pattern, the Helheim pattern was developed from the Land Raider Proteus. The difference is that the Helheim pattern is a proper STC creation, resulting in a substantially more refined and effective design. The internal framework is 20% smaller while being 10% stronger, and reactor is nearly 50% more powerful. The armoring scheme is 5-7% more effective against beam weapons. As a Helheim pattern vehicle, the track system uses 60% less internal volume, enabling radical repositioning of the vehicle's internal components.

In terms of hull shape, the Helheim Spartan follows many of the conventions set forth by its peers. The upper portions of the tracks have be lowered to be inline with the main hull, and the cupola ring has been removed. The front mounted weapons have been moved .5m down the assault hatch. The overall length has been shortened by a full meter, with the height being reduced by a somewhat less impressive .7 meters. These changes make up the majority of the weight reduction. The side doors have been removed as being of limited use, an enabled a substantial revision of the sponson mounts.

Visually, the most obvious difference is the sponsons. Instead of the hanging Lascannon arrangement of the Anvilus pattern, the Helheim pattern has low profile ball turrets armed with Dual Heavy Neutron Cannons. Thanks to a sophisticated set of beam diverters, the entire weapon is concealed within the turret ball. The emission points are a set at a 90 degree angle on an outer portion of the ball, with the magnetically moved mounting providing a full 180 degrees of elevation. The increased power consumption of the Neutron mounts is readily counteracted by the increased power generation, which manages to achieve a net reduction in required capacitors.

The transport capacity remains a full 25 power armored soldiers. While there is slightly less head room, this is only noticed by those in Shock Trooper or Destroyer pattern armor, whose immense size proves to be problematic no matter the vehicle. The assault ramp has gained several sets of fragmentation launchers, providing protection for troops charging directly into close combat. Overall protection is further enhanced by the inclusion of a Ion Shield.

i chalk that up as him living too long and he gotten bored out of his mind
immortal being bored tend to lead to very weird shit
at least he turn his boredom toward being a troll and a collector instead of other path that can cause way more damage

Avernites: a highly-educated, kind, tolerant, and generally lighthearted group who can go from zero to murder in less than an eyeblink. Surprisingly serious about defensive measures and preparation given their tendency to dramatically underplay the actual risks of their home world.

As a majority of the High Council voted to make the Quartok a protectorate under the terms that you proposed the Imperial Trust now has its first protectorate, even if it is on the same planet as one of the founding members.

-1 relationship Vanaheim
Quartok are now a Protectorate.
So I'm guessing that we'll get a datasheet on them after the High Council stuff is done now? I'm lazy so can someone tell me how long it took to get from first arrival to protectorate states for the Quartok? It had to be at least 2 or 3 meeting of the High Council from what I remember.

Phase Tank

Based on Helheim-pattern Rhino and armed with pair of hull-mounted neutron lasers and pintle-mounted Impaler, it's only outstanding feature is a solid phase transformation generator. Based on study of Aridian Sand Shark, it is capable of projecting electron field around the vehicle, inducing process superfluously similar to liquefaction in granular matter, allowing the tank to, essentially, sink in the ground to hide. Specialized flotation mechanism, combining jets on the bottom of the tank with manipulation of phasing field allow it to pop out of cover quickly.

Unpopular among DAoT soldiers due to it's limited ability to detect the threat on surface, vulnerability to Avernite flora and fauna while in the submerged state and the fact that it can be relatively easily detected at short range due to distinct discoloration of soil caused by phasing, it is still remained in use due to relatively low cost and tactical benefits of it's phasing.

Spider Bot

A type of battle-automata, it was derived from legged ATV scout drone. The difference from base pattern include installation of light turret on aft/dorsal part of the hull, replacement of missions bay with teleportation gear and integration of Blink Spider ganglia into cortex.

While DAoT engineers were never able to achieve the goal of consistent and safe jump, and the automata itself was viewed with suspicion due to several early incidents, the possibilities of teleporting weapon ensured that it remained in the limited production.

EDIT: Opinions?

That's.... not too bad actually. Hell it used to take a good 20 to 60+ years IRL for the Romans to fully subject a new area from "barbarian lands" to "Roman subjects" that contributed troops and what not. Just under two decades to go from "Shipwrecked survivors" to "Allied political entity" would be hard to pull off in this day and age.

On careful analysis, I have come to the conclusion that Forge World is talking out of their ass when it comes to vehicle dimensions.

All on my tech write ups are loosing at least an addition meter of width. The original numbers are just that ridiculous

Unfortunately they are meant to look cool, not be actual viable weapons of war.
