Adeptus Munitorum

[X] King of Battle
[X] Vanquishers: Helltroopers
[X] Personal Attention: More Siege Infantry

The two enemies we're most likely to come across are Orks and Tyranids, so getting more artillery is a must. Vanquishers because we've had trouble in the past with enemy titans and we've yet to do anything to combat that weakness. Siege Infantry because we're likely to end up defending in a ground war again due to most of the Trust's fleet being behind Warp Storms.

Adeptus Administratum

[X] Personal Attention: Administratum Reorganisation: Part Four
[X] Enlarge Factories: Avernus
[X] Upgrade Defences: Dis and Hollin

Reforming the Administratum is something we've been putting off for a while and it'll help us out with resources. Enlarging the factories is important because we have a lot of stuff to build. Upgrading our capital city's defences is necessary after the last invasion showed that we're weak against orbital bombardment.

Diplomacy

[X] Sound Out (Colonisation)
[X] Request Information (Asgard's Mines)

Not much to do and getting better ways to extract resources would be quite useful.

Adeptus Arbites

[X] Tutor Syr
[X] Build Psyker Hunter Academies: All
-[X] Expedite: Build Psyker Hunter Academies: All

More tutoring for Syr is always a good thing and making sure the planet's psykers are under control is a very important task.

Adeptus Mechanicus

[X] Survey Ship Graveyard: Above Battleships
[X] Survey Ship Graveyard: Escorts

A fully intact Dark Age of Technology super-battleship is ABSOLUTELY something we should be interested in, especially since studying it can help us out with the Well of Urd. The Escorts will be quite useful in patrolling pirates and escorting our merchantmen, as the name implies. Useful considering the Dark Eldar pirates which are likely gonna hit us, not to mention that they're the easiest type of ship to produce.

Adeptus Ministorum

[X] Good Deeds (Asgard)

Of the planets that can be subjected to this action, Asgard has the lowest morale out of all of them.

Adeptus Astra Telepathica

[X] Research (Congregation Asps): Part Two
-[X] Double Down: Research (Congregation Asps): Part Two

Finding out how their biomancy helps them use their powers could be useful. Moreover, this finishes quickly enough that Ridcully would have the time to tutor the Beta.

Personal

[X] Spend Time With Family
[X] Tutor Syr (Combat)

Hopefully we can exploit Syr's recent brush with death to get a bonus to the action. Otherwise, it's still a good choice considering Avernus is Avernus.

We need more artillery. We have a bit of a manpower crunch, we'll be fighting mostly on the defensive, and we're most likely to face horde opponents. Kings of Battle is the best force multiplier.

Current plan:

Military:

[X] Personal Attention: More Siege Infantry
21,800,000 Thrones, 3,888,000 Material, 185,100 Promethium, 458 Advanced Material.
[X] Personal Attention: King of Battle
566,600 Thrones, 95,850 Material, 25,560 Promethium.
[X] Vanquishers: Helltroopers
17,470,000 Thrones, 13,110,000 Material, 436,800 Promethium, 307,900 Advanced Material.
[X] Vanquishers: Specialists
878,400 Thrones, 658,800 Material, 21,960 Promethium, 15,480 Advanced Material.

Why not do them all? Gave the 3 year actions to Rotbart.

Administorum:

[X] Enlarge Factories: Avernus
16,680,000 Thrones, 3,337,000 Material, 3,337,000 Metal, 667,400 Promethium, 340 Advanced Material.
-[X] Expedite: Enlarge Factories: Avernus
16,680,000 Thrones, 3,337,000 Material, 3,337,000 Metal, 667,400 Promethium, 340 Advanced Material.
[X] Underground Railways: Expand
240,000,000 Thrones, 80,000,000 Material, 200,000,000 Metal, 40,000,000 Promethium, 8,000 Advanced Material.

Get the factories, and let's get started on expanding the railways. I want to be able to transit Titans around.

Diplomacy:

[X] Sound Out (Large Shipyard In Every System)
144,000 Thrones
-[X] Currently we are in a severe situation due to the lack of naval assets. This is because we have depended almost entirely on Vanaheim to provide naval construction and support. Naval assets have proven too vulnerable to being cut off, and each system must have it's own ability to repair, and replace naval assets. Propose that the Imperial Trust should set a goal to have large shipyards (capable of producing/repairing a cruiser) at every member system, and should provide the funds to build them. Recognize this goal will take a long time to achieve, but suggest that we begin by constructing a small shipyard at one system that currently has none. Continuing until every system has at least a small shipyard, and then begin expanding the small shipyards until every system has at least one large shipyard.

[X] Request Information (Asgard's Mines)
144,000 Thrones

We proposed something like this back at the beginning of the Imperial Trust, and it was deprioritized. Let's see if we can get it going now that we've seen how vulnerable we can be to the loss of Vanaheim.

Also, let's ask Svartalfhiem if they can share any information on improving exotic production.

Arbites:

[X] Tutor Syr (Intrigue)
Free
[X] Build Psyker Hunter Academies: All
28,590,000 Thrones, 1,144,000 Material, 114,400 Metal, 11,438 Promethium.

Mechanicus:

[X] Examine: Knight Forlorn
8,100 Thrones, 1,640 Material, 41 Metal, 10 Promethium.
-[X] Double Down: Examine: Knight Forlorn
8,100 Thrones, 1,640 Material, 41 Metal, 10 Promethium.
[X] Survey Ship Graveyard: Escorts
6,100,000 Thrones, 305,000 Material, 122,000 Promethium, 192 Advanced Material

Knight Forlorn because it would allow us to leverage the Aesir from Asgard for Naval combat. And right now we need a way to get our current forces into naval combat.

Was originally thinking Battleships for the two intact ones, but our shipyards are not big enough to repair them, so going with escorts.

Ministorum:

[X] Good Deeds (Asgard)
38,500,000 Thrones, 385,000 Material, 38,500 Metal, 3,850 Promethium.

Asgard has the lowest morale. Let's help them out.

Telepathica:

[X] Research (Trolls)
81,000 thrones, 8,100 Material, 8.6 Advanced Material.

Before we commit to long research let's actually see what all the rest of the creatures could provide to our psykers.

@durin, what's our biggest bottleneck regarding building the railways? Lack of manpower, lack of machinery, lack of management, lack of technology, or abundance of wildlife?

With this, Saint Lin will finally finish reforming the entire Ecclesiarchy in the Nine Worlds.

No, we haven't finished this on Asgard, or Nilfheim, or even Alfheim actually.

@durin since Alfheim came out of the warp storm should we be able to do good deeds on Alfheim again?

1. This is a waste of a sound out. I can tell you that the Large Shipyards in every system simply will not happen, at least not for a long ass time. First of all, an invasion of most systems is all but guaranteed to destroy it due to insufficient defenses and possibly due to lack of alternate sites to build it at (we have our orbital industry away from Avernus Prime for a reason). Second, due to Vanaheim being behind a Warp Storm, there is a distinct lack of orbital labor to construct these. Avernus is really the only planet with a significant orbital workforce right now, I think, and it still takes us five years to build a single small shipyard.

2. We already have Svartalfheim's AM and EM production methods. The techniques were exchanged during the meeting between the tech experts at Muspelheim, remember?

Cruisers are the backbone of the Navy, and won't cripple our logistics whenever we build one. We should focus on those and Escorts.
Yes, but have you considered a Dark Age of Technology super-battleship instead? DARK AGE. SUPER-BATTLESHIP. It could probably OHK a Space Hulk with one of its main armaments, let alone whatever equivalent for a nova laser/cannon it has (if it has one).

We can't fix them. Our shipyards aren't big enough. Our reason for setting up for the Ship Graveyard was to fix up the ships that we're able to fix up to bolster our navy. The Battleships right now are unfortunately not very useful to us since we can't fix them yet.

One of them is intact. Not mostly intact - FULLY intact. We might not be able to repair it until later, but it would be an awesome weapon to have until we can.

@durin - by any chance when Vanaheim was caught in the Warp Storm were any of their orbital crews working on any projects for other planets?

The fact that it is abandoned there suggests that it is not in a state where it's actually useable, otherwise it wouldn't be parked there in the middle of an ancient battlefield. What "intact" means here is that it's structurally sound, not that it has no holes blasted in it or anything. I think we'll need the shipyards to be big enough before we have a chance at fixing it.

@durin What do we need to do to be able to repair the ships bigger than a Heavy Cruiser

Also first reactions... wow that ship graveyard. So how many of us are now wishing we had done this sooner? I think this is going to eat up most of our actions from now on until we get through and research this wonderful bounty.

Edit:
Okay had a chance to look at the plans, @Enjou I like yours the most after I checked material usage, we will have 515 mil or so left after this turn but have the reserves for actions next turn. One thing I would switch is the light cruisers to cruisers. We can repair the escorts we find for light ships but we are going to need some capital class ships as well for the trust with most of the navy trapped behind a warp storm.

[X] Enjou

Also looking forward depending on what it will cost to repair the ships we will need to research adamantine forges soon.

Asgard has Super Heavy Orbital Defenses, same as us. Svartalfheim and Alfheim both have Heavy Orbital Defenses. Jountheim and Muspelheim have Medium Defenses.

So I think we ought to build shipyards in all these systems.

Dispersal is needed.

Our refusal to spend the money and effort to do this is why we are having so many problems right now.

We need to get started on this and stop putting it off as "too hard."

I think we should find out what it will take to build a large shipyard as we have not had that option in Void (so far only been able to build small shipyards)

@durin
1. What is needed to build a large shipyard?
2. Do we have an estimate on time and cost to build one?
