Oh yesh it's obviously because of his role, all powerful as a teacher but must teach... I more so meant that him doing it is the problem heh

IIRC the point of dropping War and Death into the Oubliette isn't to redeem them, it's to turn them into batteries.

I propose we actively take steps to convince the Educator not to educate them then. I'm unsure how we could convince him to listen though, we warned him about the infiltration and he went ahead and took them to the Class anyways. He can't seem to act beyond his Role anymore except in esoteric ways.

It's still worthwhile to include something in a write-in. If Death and War start developing as Roles in the Oubliette.. that's a very unpleasant dynamic. And there's nothing like suffering to kick start a Role. Yes Sol could kill them in that event, but not before they end up doing something during Autumn or give intel to the Adversary.

The tactics pursue a fundamental breakthrough in our Role through understanding and application of theory, rather than incremental power through worldly exploitation. And we did just change years so there is merit to a solid ground. Still, it probably won't hurt and does have potential upside to switch to a more balanced approach, so I'll do that - perhaps 3 classwork 2 exploration 2 rule. We are not Solomon fully settled into rulership, after all - merely a youth.

It was more a suggestion to reduce classwork in exchange for more exploration instead of rulership as rulership seems more thematically important. After all it is Solomon magician king not Solomon A+ student.

This is me confirming that yes I did do that and that also I used the token.

I am a man enslaved to his memes. Those memes are, of course, 'lol. lmao, even'. Forcing a tie again is in an objective sense the absolute funniest thing I can do.

Not trying to argue for the other plan now that I switched the vote but @Aabcehmu note about batteries isn't exactly right the mindset was not redemption after murder. It was using them to ontologically undo all the evils War and Death have done over time. No one I think expects us to redeem them after murdering their siblings the idea is to ritually unfuck the countless worlds they've harmed also the doylist that rihaku is trying to somewhat appease certain voters by essentially going halfsies.

Cause using the horseman as batteries is downright retarded thats just asking to become evil. So thats why I wanted to say yeah no on the batteries yes on the detaining for benefits.

[X] Plan Just Shoot Them
how else would you win without making the maximal use out of your enemies smh

using freedom from fate to actually get a golden ending to the fated scenario that Fate would not allow sounds good, and I like magic school quest better than the typical incomprehensible powerscaling nonsense.

If you like magical school quest, you should Just Shoot Them! It will allow Sol to spend time actually doing things in magic school rather than focusing all his attention on converting the Horsemen, and thus engaging with the powerscaled metaplot. That's why we're voting for it!

Shooting the adorable underclasspeople cuts off the possibility of being a cool upperclassman though.

We're not slaughtering the entire Gothic Horror class, or even all of the Horsemen. It will make forming a positive relationship with our underclassmen harder, significantly so even, but it will hardly make it impossible.

Ehhh we don't care enough about gothic class to repair whats been broken to a pretty huge degree. We barely have enough action economy to befriend some of our class.

That's true, but wrecksalot was making a claim about the possibility of befriending the Gothic Horror class, not the feasibility.

Bird of Hermes, Ripley Scroll: An Alchemical Manuscript of the 16th century

The Bird of Hermes is mine name,
Feasting on my wings to make me tame.

In the Sea withouten lesse,
Standeth the Bird of Hermes:
Eating his Wings variable,
And thereby maketh himself more stable;
When all his Fethers be agon,
He standeth still there as a stone;
Here is now both White and Red,
And also the Stone to quicken the dead,
All and sume withouten fable,
Both hard, and nesh and malliable
Understand now well aright,
And thanke the Lord of this sight.

The crowned Bird of Hermes perches, biting at its left wing and standing on an orb from which seven feathers grow.

No mere pheonix is this.
This the true aspect of Regeneration, in the creation of the stone. Of Infinity and Spiritual Ressurection.
The Ouroboros, which devours its tail. The Bird of Hermes, who devours its own wings. One and the same. And more.

Feathers fall aflame from the sun's rays onto the verses inscribed below.
