Well I guess we will just have to deal with the Emperor having those maps and locations when he gets back when it happens. Just have to be better prepared for the fight.

Exactly, we know the moment they decide to act on this information, and can easily use our intelligent apparatus to punish them for it.
The moment Palpatine or Isard tries to use this information to secure some kind of advantage, we can be there directing the NR to keep kicking them so they stay down. We give them the capacity to act on this information, that doesn't mean we won't know about their actions, to get ahead of them, to destroy what they're looking for, or to bait them into disadvantageous fights.
[X] Let them keep the data on known systems - Sole shall delete the information on the Unknown Regions but let the Empire have everything else. Until Isard sends an expedition to them, she will never know what you have managed. *Isard loses access to maps of the Unknown Regions. If she tries to make use of them, it will be a disaster and Sole will need to escape.*

That does us no good because they already have the information. He also said we can't alter the data so we also can't lead them into ambushes besides just waiting for them. And with the major difference in resources, we will never be able to stop them everywhere. But Like I said it doesn't matter people are too scared of the minor risk of Isard and the next leader for some reason going to the unknown regions despite them not having any reason or desire to do so. And some people seem to think the T5 will mean anything to dealing with Palpatine since he is far more likely to just wipe the Imperial Intelligence out as his first move anyways.

Then again if they do decide to go to the Unkown regions it is unlikely they would send a lot of units or multiple unless they were specifically targeting us in the first place. So it would in theory be possible to ambush/capture those forces with a degree of success without getting caught. So there is something to be said about giving them the data.

But the thing is that with the dead man's switch option (assuming we can do that, since Daemon hasn't given a definitive yes or no), all of the data dies with Isard. And since Palpy was well-known for killing potential rivals to his power, you can bet that Isard's days are numbered when she loses all that power she has right now. And there's nothing stopping us from getting Sole out of there once shit starts hitting the fan, since our agent seems like he'd be smart enough to realize where the wind is blowing once Iceheart is gone.
[X] Let them have all of it - Sole shall do nothing with it, ensuring his security while letting Isard retain her advantages. This has no risk, and would keep his cover, but does nothing to curtail the information held by the Empire. *Status quo.*
It's not like the Empire had no knowledge of this beforehand. Let's keep our Tier 5 Spyring. It is a gift that keeps on giving.

They know something is out there but without the proper data and navigation they can't do anything about it. And for the last time only the first option removes our T5 network. The second option does not lose the network. It only requires an action to pull Sole out only later on "if and only if" the Empire goes to the unknown regions without our help.

Nobody is ready to exploit that Data. Not us, not Isard, not even Palpatine, if he comes back. We can leave that stuff without much risk. Even if someone did something with it, we could profitfrom it, thanks to our extensive Spy Network.

Neither of the other two options are worth losing our T5 spy ring.
Alright, calling the vote here. Looks like not rocking the boat wins. Next up we have the Maw Installation after which is Palpatine's stash then the rumor mill.

Ah, for that I was considering that a part of the rumor mill and was just going to separate it into two parts. Mainly as it's important enough to get its own section but also intrinsically tied to the rumor mill.
Kill anyone that won't join us as a security threat and have the Maw focus on general improvements to our tech base. We don't need super weapons. We do need any improvements they have made on molecular furnaces though.
Cen Kam continues to consistently deliver success. The data from the Maw Installation now flows through your covert research labs, and more than one researcher has had to have their clearance upgraded. The data from this superweapons research factory displays a rather inefficient use of funding, in your opinion.
Many of the superweapons required enough capital to fund entire battlefleets, not to mention the sheer amount of skilled manpower diverted from other projects. Several projects outright gave no useful results, and many were begun with the predicted outcome being nothing. It's a waste of money, a waste of skill, and a waste of resources. The recruitment method of scientists offends you on a personal level. If Tarkin was alive, you would probably strangle him for how utterly absurd this entire installation was.
However, as much as you hate to admit it, the Maw Installation did get some results. The Death Star for one was a powerful station if properly supported by a heavily anti-starfighter fleet. The World Devastators while slow, also vastly improved upon molecular furnaces, even if it was still in the testing phase as a superweapon. The Ionic Ring Ship allowed for full control over a planet's climate and weather, seemingly a downgrade from the Death Star, but it allowed resources to be retained during conflict. The Sun Crusher … well, you were rather certain the scientist designing it was exaggerating the expected power of it. Nonetheless, the ability to cause a supernova was too valuable to simply dismiss, even if its use would be extremely limited due to the sheer destruction it causes. Then there is your personal favorite, and seemingly the most mundane. The Metal-Crystal Phase Shifter. Able to penetrate shields and weaken the structural integrity of ships, it allows one to turn a total victory for the enemy into a pyrrhic victory as microstructure repairs are difficult to carry out.
While these superweapons would be nice to have, the sheer amount of funding needed for them means that you are unlikely to ever research them on your own. However, the Maw Installation can do this job for you. However, it also means that the Empire would get these superweapons, and considering talk within the Empire on tailored bioweapons, it may be in your best interest to shut it down.
Cen Kam has proposed a full data wipe initiated by a new EMP design. This would force you to involve Dr. Nairtuu as this design would have to be novel in order to pass scrutiny, but would have minimal risk and allow you to remove a few researchers. However, it would leave you with several half-finished superweapon designs, but perhaps that is all that is needed. After all, it certainly seems as if the principles behind their design might be more important than the designs themselves.
[] Order a full data wipe - One Learning Advisor Action Locked Turn 4. Maw Installation loses all data. Option to research data added.
[] Let the Maw Installation Run - Maw Installation remains operational. Option to research data added. Data will keep coming in allowing for further research in the future.
Ok with this now I'm leaning towards doing a full data wipe since I would rather the Empire not have potential superweapons in the future that they can use on us if they chose too.

On the other hand, if the Empire does pursue the use of superweapons, it means a whole lot of things diverted to them, meaning they'd be more shorthanded in terms of conventional assets. Dunno if my reasoning makes sense though.

No I get it if they go down that path they'll sacrifice more ships and troops to build them. But well for me at least I want them to build more warships and train more troops to drag out the fighting with the NR them having less will only speed up the NR conquest of them. And well my hope has always been for the Empire to bleed as much of the NR as possible for us so we can then have an easier time conquering the galaxy. So it's in my eyes in our best interest to make sure the Empire lasts as long as possible and so that means sometimes we need to stop them from making superweapons(and instead using that resources for other things) and other times that means making sure the NR lose some battles as well. It's a give and take we're doing with them.
The problem with the Empire is that they will soon have to make a choice. Either keep the superweapon project alive or kill it, without the entire galaxy under their thumb I doubt they have the funding to continue on the research to the projected ends. Even assuming the most lopsided rolls for the Empire's economy, that won't change the fact that its in the process of disintegrating as various provincial powers arise and the New Republic gets their feet under them.
Basically, the Empire is going to run into a binary choice where they will have to either sacrifice the conventional navy or the super weapons. If they go with conventional navy over super weapons, we win because of Thrawn. If they go super weapons over conventional navy, we win by copying their data for free and we have Thrawn.
No matter how the Empire slices their pie, we come out on top. Of course this entire chain of logic is predicated upon their economy being insufficient to handle both projects at the same time. If they do have the resources then it becomes better to copy and wipe, especially since we have T5 access so we will know of any Maw Successor station project.

Currently their superweapon development is preventing research into improved weapons, armor, and ships although there's a growing irritation within the Empire over that.
