Are you saying that the Maw isn't costing the Empire a single credit? Daemon already stated that the usage and funding of the Maw station was preventing the Empire from researching/rolling out improved armor/weapon and other stuff a page ago. I am not sure, how you can argue that the Maw is something that is free to run.
Thankfully, with our direct line we'll have a full technical readout on them, and the records of how they were developed. We'll have them blown up faster than you can say "Luke, you've switched off your targeting computer. What's wrong?"
Palp never actually cared about human supremacy. He actually believed Humans, Near-Humans, and Aliens were all equal. Equally inferor to Palpatine, that is. He went with Humanocentricism for the Empire because they were more useful to achieve his goals st the time.
Yeah, but I'm pretty sure he'd still take that bit as a slight anyway because of how our entire government is a giant repudiation of everything the Galactic Empire stood for under his rule and the fact he has an ego about as big as the galaxy itself.
No, it wouldn't. Hes that big a narcissist. He explicitly only gives a fuck about himself. This is the guy who wants to turn himself into a Darkside Force God and considered it an inevitability.
My point still stands, Palpatine's ego is so big that he would likely take the rejection of human supremacy as an insult anyway because our empire is a giant middle finger to how he ran the Empire, even if he didn't believe in the human supremacy stuff in the first place.
