The Chaos Founding

[] Plan: endless labor for endless resources
-[] Satasta: A strange daemonic world, it's resource deposits taking the form of flat 'discs' that never seem to get smaller no matter how much is hewed away. Instead, the main obstacle to mining efforts on the planet comes in the form of the extremely hostile wildlife, which never seem to actually decrease in number no matter how many purges are directed against them. (Resource Rich).
-[] Labor of the Strong: This Warband has managed to secure a steady supply of Ogryn Thralls, by means of a deal with certain Imperial Authorities who are rather eager to keep Abhuman populations in check.

[] Plan: Daemon Mining Version A
- [ ] The Lost: This Warband has established contracts with many Lesser Daemons of Chaos, and drawn them into its surface.

This has naturally led to a lot of metal and technology, just waiting to be broken down. (Resource Rich).

Well, with waiting for moratorium stuff, time for me to consider what i think about our options.

[ ] The Gobmiras:

I mean i've talked about how i'd like these little guys for the Warband, and i still think they'd be a good worker group/battle fodder for the Warband.

[ ] The Quarreling Ones:

With our traits, there could be something were we get some nice Deamon Weapons from these four.

[ ] The Spawnherder:

Not really something that could work with our guys here.

[ ] The Pact of Skulls:

I mean, it is a bit restrictive as only Bloodthirsters, but it is a Lord of Skulls...something to consider i suppose.

[ ] The Lost:

Hmm, much like the Quarreling Four option, could be interesting for Deamon Weapons.

[ ] Labor of the Strong:

Ogryn are a interesting new option, something that could be neat feature.

[ ] Meat:

This...hmm probably for something else.

Now onto the worlds.

[ ] Mororos:

Pretty standard looking, but it's not the most intresting of worlds, something for later probably.

[ ] Owuru:

A neat look, but probably not the best for needed manpower for our needs.

[ ] Satasta:

One I like as it has endless amounts of the resources and a means to test our weapons with the wildlife.

[ ] Hulk-Leviathan:

A very tempting place, and could have many crew inhabitants/their descendants.

[ ] Hulk-Leviathan: A Space Hulk of planetary size, the thing that makes Hulk-Leviathan truly of interest is the fact that other space hulks, some of them from ships that haven't even been built yet, are constantly drifting into and fusing with it. Given the probable presence of genestealers here I'd like to have a chapter that can use that to some degree

Probably the best, they will never run out of stuff to mine and the marines can protect the miners from the wild life

[] Plan: Overlord Rasing hell
- [ ] The Gobmiras: A strange, artificially created type of demonic creature. The Gobmira's are small, multi-colored, roughly humanoid figures made up of different parts from many different animals. Different colored Gobmira have different traits, with the ones that match up to the primary color of one of the four major Chaos Gods having some sort of boost related to that God, and a near perfect resistance to the abilities granted by said deity. For a multitude of reasons they don't work with many other Chaos factions, but they are willing to change that and bring arms to bear if a deal is struck.

Minions on a planet full of mean creatures seems fitting to me.

You know if we take that option along with our new warband's mining tendency we can make them a group of dungeon mansters.
Fill the mine up with trap hallways and kill boxes, with little passages and hidey holes the Gobmiras can use but are two small for regular people. Go full dwarf fortress

[ ] Owuru: An Oceanic Daemon world with solid yet simultaneously liquified ice water and liquid minerals, extracting it's resources thus tends to look more at the usage of devices similar to the Oil Wells of the distant past than any form of quarry. (Resource Rich).
I wounder if we can make daemon engine oil rigs that don't need people working them?

The lost gives lots of deamons to bind into equipment, but Ogryn thralls are fun. I am picturing Ogryn with their funny whispering Mining drill putting holes into the enemy.

Owuru and batufu are cool, but they lose part of the flavour I want from the mining equipment. Oil mining gear is less threatening then Rockbreaker gear, and If you get the resources from ganking dudes, that's just war with extra loot.
Mororos and Hulk-leviathan on the other hand are much more what I want, More standard mining, Although I am a bit worried that the ogryn would break tech on Hulk.

Batufu? Honestly, I would rather use Batufu For the Bonereaver cults, Having Living Monsters that the cult fight, and can then turn into high quality vehicles and weaponry and everything else sounds like a great way to force the bonereavers to maintain a sharp edge on their warriors. Git gud, Or be unable to get the weapons and vehicles you need. Satasta would work for that as well

Wow....the fucking sass
Hey, didn't want the sass, shouldn't have voted for the boring option. The boring option won, sass it is.

Anyway, my plan is this:
[] Plan: Iron Overlords.
-[] The Gobmiras: A strange, artificially created type of demonic creature. I just like the idea of Iron Warrior descendent Warband, having goofy minions helping them make the most profit.

Given Mining Equipment, we need to use worlds which will actually use mining equipment which I think is mainly drills and other stuff.
I'm not sure, We are talking about pseudo-futuristic mining equipment that is infused with Daemonic nonsense, it might as well reshape itself as needed, and on Owuru the minerals are in the form of liquid, I think specialized equipment would still be needed to properly extract stuff like this, the Warband will simply get the most appropriate machinery to use. Some kind of energy torches for the Hulk-Leviathan for example, beside, they can use drills to pierce through walls and get into other parts of the Hulk.

Also, just imagine the amount of resources, beside the material that makes the whole junk-planet, there would be weapons, devices, cogitators from across the Galaxy and substance the Warband can harvest from inhabitants and other living beings that live and are trying to survive on Space Hulks.

Funnily enough, If we didn't need to pick a resource rich planet, a Non-standard option, would have been Retera would probably work as well. The warband would not be able to use the homeworld itself as their mining location, But Retaera is a functional world with an industrial base. The caste system enforced by Mystic pacts actual plays well into how good they are withnegotiation, letting them easily claim a position on top of the pile without wrecking it all.

With a functional society behind them, while they can't mine their own planet, they could have easily kept a strong fleet and industrial base behind them letting them go out on expeditions to do the mining.

[] Plan Setting up "Hunting Contest" between Daemons
-[] The Quarreling Ones: Four Greater Daemons, each in command of large numbers of the Lesser Daemons of their great god, are in near eternal competition to prove their own force's superiority. With this contract they will occasionally send these Lesser Daemons to aid the Warband as part of their contest, gaining or losing prestige depending on the contributions of their forces to the battle.
(Resource Rich)

Both sides are "profitting", our mines are safe(r) from planet's wildlife, and Quarrelling Ones get opportunity to quarrell about "whose forces culled more wildlife" (given that said wildlife seems to be "auto-renewable problem", this "contest" will go for eternity)

[ ] The Pact of Skulls: Some Bloodthirsters actually want to be bound into a Lord of Skulls, seeing them as a suit of armor with which they may rampage upon the material plane without being restricted by the limits of a typical summoning. This contract would allow those Bloodthirsters to enter a Lord of Skulls at the very start of a battle, and return to the warp when the battle has ended - allowing even a mercenary Warband of Chaos Undivided to bring the dreaded Lord of Skulls Daemon Engines to battle.

[ ] Batufu: A planet in which the local mineral deposits have been converted into living beings. Those who seek to plunder it's wealth had best be good at killing, for the planets living minerals are belligerent creatures and must be dispatched before they can be melted down. (Resource Rich).
How about this combination? possibly with the lords of skulls having some mining related modifications

-[X] Iron Warriors: The Sons of Perturabo, the Iron Warriors are greatly intelligent, unimaginably spiteful, and excel at recovering from significant casualties in a short amount of time. They are masters of siege warfare, and though they do not serve any of the Gods in particular, seeing the Ruinous Powers merely as a source of unholy might, they refine the art of combining technology and the dark arts to a level few can hope to rival.
-Master Negotiators: This Warband knows how to negotiate and strike deals to their own benefit.
An Iron Warrior Warband thats actualy charismatic in any sense?

Also I noted that each Warband we make kinda erodes Abbadons authority as Warmaster of Chaos.

First as a warband he need to negotiate if he wants their support without ability to force them even when they lack Daemon Primarch backing of Legions.

Then another that constantly fucks with him erroding his resources while also showing that he isnt even undisputed commander of Sons of Horus geneline in his Black Legion.

So soon enought Abbadon will be very likely to be 'just' a Warlord of Chaos like many others instead of chosen by Chaos Gods as Warmaster to lead Traitor Legions during Black Crusades.

Like did we by accident make things easier for Imperium by making sure Traitor Legions couldnt be somewhat united by Abbadon and instead stay divided in many factions warring in Eye of Terror against each other. Not crusading out of Eye?

I think that would be the closest to Dawi Zhar given GREED aspect but it is dangerous option.

I think the more Dawi Zharr option is actually the former Forge World. Hashut is a god of greed AND tyranny and Chorfs' usual flavour of evil is less sadism and puppy-kicking for its own sake, but just being cruelly calculating, the spreadsheet numbers must add up and anything that doesn't is removed from the equation. Their slaves are not even slaves, they're just another resource. Perfect for a world where all living beings have basically became parts of giant machine processing raw materials into military equipment.

I still think Leviathan is the best option given everything even with Ocean World gives unique flavour to the situation.

Oh god, I just imagined on the world of living minerals, Iron Warriors would basically strap to the ground and workers would fucking mine them while they still live with their equipment.

The issue is more how dangerous space hulks are. We doubled down on bording in the other quest to get a space hulk chapter for a reason. This warband isn't built for the sheer extreme of hulks. Our best best is either the disk or external plunder world.

That is why we can get extra training to actually make sure we are not fucked. But yeah, still a great point.

[ ] Plan Meat Grinder
[ ] Meat:
A contract involving large amounts of fresh... meat being delivered to the Warband, from a truly immense multitude of sources. Honestly, this Pact might just be a Greater Daemon looking for some place to dump their trash.
[ ] Beta-66: A former mechanicus Forge World infamous for its massive usage of servitors to work in its expansive mining networks. So immense was Beta-66's employment of servitors, that when Chaos came to the planet there were barely any people left to resist the powers of Chaos... merely cogs in a machine uncaring of their suffering. (Resource Rich).

Competent Demon Binders+MEAT+Servitor Demon World= Man-Made Horrors beyond comprehension.

The ones who make money aren't the ones who do the resource extraction. They are the ones who sell the tools to do the resource extraction. We will be the Chaos Servitor Mecca of the Traitor Legions.
