Heck yeah, let's get right at him with the mood spikes! It looks like he's got the range and healing advantage on us, so I think we should try to stay in SHT range as much as possible.

[X] Derm 1.1

Also, happy Easter, Terrene Spirers!

Maybe we should add some contingencies?

Like, if he moves back out of range when we move forward we don't want to waste the spike.

As this is a 2D environment, you cannot move through solid objects while you, yourself, are solid.

An easy way to solve this issue in the future would be to train some sort of 'jumping' ability, but for now we're pretty locked into 'stand ground, give ground.'

I am now going to respond to a post made before the last post that I quoted and responded to! This is very important information that you definitely needed to know.

The visual image didn't work like I'd hoped D:
That may have had something to do with us doing it directly in front of the guy. Sadly, the way it was implemented there was basically no chance anything with a minimum amount of critical thinking skills would have fallen for it.

The GOOD news though, is that the idea is still entirely viable! We just have to practice the skill to the point where either it isn't obvious which one is the copy (hint, it's the one that rose up from the ground about two seconds ago), or we develop some form of Taunt skill, and then Combine THAT with our False Image (probably creating a third skill derived from whatever the taunt was/is/will-be, and the ghost image).

Bad news about that though: We require a Training montage/sequence/boring-mundane-practice session to actually develop these thoughts into Skills recognized by whichever combination of Stars govern that rule-set. Hm. Do you think that if we go deep enough underground, we'd find an eldritch place that DOESN'T follow the Star Laws? ... Let's not find out, that's definitely a "We delved too Deep! TOO DEEP!" sort of scenario.

[X]ACT: Harvest Time -stay close and cut that thing in half ASAP.

hey so, I always overreach and try to do too much, but like, people wan't a finished work, not a stupid halfassed job that never updates.
I should really just end TS instead of continue to try to do anything with it
I shouldn't do anything, I can't deliver a finished job so.
sorry, I guess.
for tricking you all
as always.
I can't cry when I need to, I would love to cry right now
but that's how it is.

Dex, don't give up, we'll understand if you need to take a break. Heck, we've made you take breaks in the past. If you're burned out again, feel free to relax and recover. If you tell us, that's great. If you don't, we may worry for you, but we are more worried about you than about TS at this point. Plus, your update rate, even when you're burned out, is still incredible against literally any other quest on this website.
