I missed the 5 starting point. Now I'm still giving 3, though I'm actually fine with that.

All this update made me think about is Nintendo and Disney merging in the 80s to form one frightening family friendly corporation.

Nintendo as the Japanese Disney! Disney as the American Nintendo!

What could possibly go wrong? We might even make a decent mario movie!

on second though, let's stick to animation for the nintendo properties, at least for now.

...I was just about to object to Plan Partnership costing board approval but we killed it with 'em and we won't lose the previously-100 bonus until 80.

Considering what problems the Nickelodeon Hotel had with keeping the consoles (PS2s I think) in the rooms (as people would steal them), I think I'll be favoring this plan. We can wait for Video Games as remember guys the Video Game crash only happened 3 years ago, and Nintendo is really the only thing that brought it back. I think the board would be doubtful if we started a video game division at this point until we are SURE the video game market is back. Also it's not like we are hurting for development partners. Lucasarts, Pixar, Nintendo, when we do this we can do it right and bring the same Disney quality to videogames that our movies do.

How do you think this will affect Tokyo Disney? The Oriental Land Company (OLC) pays to use our characters. We are paying Nintendo to use theirs. Do they also get to same permission or do they have to set up their own deal?

OLC would have to license the characters, then Disney would work them in. Such things are beyond the scope of this quest, however.

Masahiro Sakurai (Smash Bros.) is going to have a lot more work to do, in the far future.

Excellent point. Consoles in the hotel rooms seems pretty iffy. We can stick some NESs (purchased at full price) in the free arcade in AA maybe, and there'll be an attendant to watch them there.

Thanks kind and grand QM! I just wanted to see if we were doing something the board would complain about.

"So you made a deal with a Japanese company and didn't think about how it would benefit the Japanese park we don't own?!"
