The kaiju blue is swiftly cleaned up-- by copious usage of napalm.
Tacit Ronin's dents are banged out, and two new kaiju skulls are stenciled onto his chest ridge, bringing his kill count (for the pilots refuse to acknowledge the Spawn as actual kills) to twelve.
Tacit Ronin fully repaired!
Nine more Hellhounds are spat out by the auto-jigs, with new pilots being found quickly enough.
Work also continues on boosting Seattle's exterior scanner systems, and reaching out to the populace. Finally, everything within about 30 Kilometers of Seattle is both within sensor range, and recognizing Neo-Seattle as the major power. The ruins of Tacoma and Everett, as well as the somewhat-untouched Redmond, become viable places where Seattle could focus its efforts.
3 Hellhound Squadrons constructed!
Scanners increase to 3!
Communications increase to 3!
Tacoma, Everett, and Redmond gained! These cities start with 0 in all stats, but can be upgraded higher! Be warned, if replopulated, they will become viable targets for Kaiju!
A new idea comes into play; Directed Energy Weapons. The concept is simple, though such weapons would have far-shorter range than projectiles, due to bleed-off and atmospheric interference. Still, they've got a prototype functioning, so it might be useful for
something.

The IE-10 may be mounted on the Shoulders or Chest-- or the arms, if Tacit didn't have big honkin' Fangblades there. It is a semi-internal weapon, like your fangblades and their rails. Currently, Tacit can only fit one other weapons system.
The P-20s are reworked, with more angling and software added to the blueprints. It's simple enough, and the P-30 is far better equipped for deflecting blows and retaliating. The fact that J-Tech decided to put spiked knuckles on them is just a bonus.

Finally, your 'Magic' team decides to poke at the scary Breach device again, using the city's power grid.
A few minutes later, all the power goes out.
It takes more than a few to replace the broken fuses are restore electricity, but there's certainly been
some results-- the Breach alert screams as soon as power is restored, before dropping back to silence.
More than half an hour later, Dr. Riddle returns. He thinks they might be on to something here. It's not magic per se'... but to humans, it might as well be. The UPt-Blue fusion
definitely creates Breaches-- but the reaction's consuming a lot of power. However, they might be able to use that, and turn the heat of the reaction into more power-- theoretically, a perpetual positive feedback loop. But that would require incredibly advanced tech-- far more advanced than anything humanity has at the moment.
<UNKNOWN> Tech becomes Anteverse Breach Tech!
Supercell Sub-branch Unlocked! More branches may unlock with further research!
Of course, poking at a Breach may not always be a good thing...
Roll your new scanners.
