Grae wins the Grapple!

The kaiju pulls harder, using some of its leverage not just to pull the jaeger closer, but to pull itself upright.

Tacit Ronin is dragged 4 Units towards Grae!
Grae is no longer Prone!

Even as the pale jaeger struggles, the conventional forces move in. The air force swoops closer, hoping to eventually be able to hit Zeno, while the land forces follow suit.

Jagdhund charges forwards, trying to get closer. Unfortunately, this means skirting past a certain Charybdis...

A metallic scream rolls across the battlefield, as Waltz takes its black-stained hands off its face. The cobalt visor is gone, save for a few pieces around the edges, revealing the seijin's true face; an almost fluid mess of muscles, with four brown, slit-pupil eyes staring out from the middle.

Waltz is no longer blind! No damage from Ongoing!

Before Zeno can turn around, the seijin widens its stance, flips down every one of its cannons-- and fires.

Zeno takes 13 Strikes! Zeno dies instantly from massive damage!

Zeno simply explodes, half of it straight up disintegrating in an instant. Waltz creaks mechanically, and swings its cannons back upright.

SE-26-045 "Zeno" has been defeated!

Unphased by this, Charybdis abandons its burrowing tactics, and spins around, lunging out of the dirt to snap at Jagdhund!

Charybdis is no longer burrowing!

Meanwhile, Grae pauses for a second, eyeless head glancing over at the smoldering corpse that used to be Zeno. Just as quickly, the kaiju resumes its pulling, the distortion around it getting even stronger!

Roll for grapple again (1d10+8)!

The kaiju's distance from the Perimeter is 38/31 (G/C). Charybdis is now engaged in melee with Jagdhund.

Tacit is 13 from Grae.

Jagdhund is 13/0 from kaiju, Scouts are 10/1 from kaiju (behind Charybdis), Hellhounds are 13/3 from kaiju.

Arty/AKBs are 38/31 from kaiju. Mortars/Tanks are 26/19 from kaiju. Heimdal is 32/25 from kaiju. Field Resupply Squadrons retroactively exist everywhere and nowhere until they are required. Their distance cannot be quantified.

Waltz is 22 from Perimeter, 18/24 from kaiju.

And... that's actually the first time a kaiju's died from reaching negative Structure. Huh.

Well then. Waltz really is pissed. Guess we should move the conventionals to fire at Grae for a bit. Not like we can fire at Charybdis safely like this.

Now back on its feet, a particularly vicious jolt from Grae makes Tacit's pilots realize that their first success was mere luck.
