This is kinda a hard choice, since we either get access to more gundam or we get a very good hacker.
For research I am either going for Knightmares or the 00 gundams, we are already close to the climax for those series we will need firepower on those parts, hell awakening of the trailblazers gundams will put stuff out of rails and we can do some funny shenanigans with the Quan T if we mix it with lambda drivers and biosensors if we go by SRW V.
For the UC stuff, tbh we will need to put some heavy work there for the hard hitting units, this is the F90 we are getting and not the F91 after all and the Victory series, well unless we have the V2 and the AB parts we won't be pulling wings of light anytime soon.
As for the events fuck, this is gonna leave a lot of spots, but we need to take 2 events in specific in a obligatory manner.
The 4 way showdown with the angels and what I suspect is the final showdown with Zagato.
Choosing Frontier Setter over Alice, while the gundam may be nice, Frontier Setter is a very great hacker and may come pretty useful to infiltrate the networks from Blue Cosmos and Brittania.
Choosing the GN over everything else, while the knightmares could be useful, Ribbons is probably gonna be stepping his game up sooner than later, specially since Lockon totalled the Throne Zwei, so Celestial being will need all the firepower they can get, specially if the bastard gets early access to the reborns gundam after Ali little fiasco.
Then there is Zagato and the fucking plotwist of having to kill Princess Emeraude.
The girls while they do have a support network it is really not enough that you have to tell 3 middle schoolers that you have to kill somebody to save the world and that is your mission.
but I think getting the Cephiro girls some support is more important than ensuring the Unicorn plot goes without interference
??? I didn't expect I was gonna called on to explain myself, but whatever. No big deal. Also, I'd appreciate some reasoning for your plan, @EvaUnit01, given you have some...odd choice combinations.
And if our forming an entire political faction to absorb huge chunks of the crumbling Earth Alliance works out, then Nergal pulling its logistical support should theoretically be somewhat offset by that -- which is a loss of leverage that might make Akatsuki think twice about backstabbing us, especially when he's more than wily enough to know that if he tries it anyway, we can and most likely will bring absolute hell down on him and his entire company in retaliation. If our political action goes to plan, then I expect Akatsuki would grit his teeth and be willing to negotiate something in the interests of his own self-preservation.
remember that Mobile Suit Evolutions is coming from Romefeller, a faction that we haven't quite fully subverted yet, so going for Mobile Suit Evolutions arguably runs the risk of putting us in a position of dealing with an enemy that will also have access to what we get from Mobile Suit Evolutions, unless the dissolution of Neo-Hope has left Duke Dermail in a bad enough position that he would be willing to step down and let either Dorothy or Treize lead Romefeller in his stead, which would mostly secure Romefeller as an ally
That might have been how it was intended by the QM in which case some confirmation could be helpful, but I would point out that none of the involved works or factions here exist in a vacuum. Nergal have to know that pretty much every major player outside the Solar Vanguard is our enemy, and that leaving us to collaborate with any of those other factions is going to put a huge literal target on their backs. Akatsuki and Prospector are the types to try and manage or outright remove that kind of liability to the greatest extent possible, which means even just the threat of leaving might be a bluff to try and control us.I don't think the political action will actually affect whether or not Nergal stays. In my eyes, I think Nergal's decision to stay or leave works in the following way (note that I could very well be wrong about this):
If Appealing to Ereshkigal is taken: At the very least gives us a chance that Nergal doesn't leave the Solar Vanguard or improves the odds of us passing the roll for Nergal to stay, at best might even guarantee that they stay, no rolls involved in the decision.
If Appealing to Ereshkigal is not taken: Nergal is guaranteed to leave. At best, we may be subjected to a harder roll for them to not pull out.
As for strengths and weaknesses, I'll say this much: UC units are generally consistent, having good power output with Minovksy reactors and good beam weapons, at the cost of needing exotic tech likes psychoframe to really be high performance. 00 units perform well on their own, but due to how new the tech is, some of the logistics issues are still being puzzled out, and pushing them to the limit for high performance leads to reduced effectiveness in the short term afterwards. Seed units run on batteries, and as a result have less longevity, but that also means they're not reliant on having a supply chain of Helium-3. Wing units that aren't the Gundams are generally cheaper to manufacture, and can do wonderful things in the hands of skilled pilots at the cost of being...mediocre otherwise.
