Wasn't Durandal inspired by C.E.'s Mars colonies where they have a caste system of their own and decided to implement that on Earth? Of course the Mars of Seed don't get involved much other than the side stories.
While this is true, the point of saying to Le Creuset that Durandal was inspired by Le Creuset to carry out the Destiny Plan is to reinforce the idea that Le Creuset isn't out to kill everyone because he thinks it's inevitable and better to pull the plug now, but out of the belief that he, like his hated genetic donor, believes the world revolves around him and him alone, and that the world does not deserve to continue being around without him, so if he dies, the world goes with him, as it is only proper.
In essence, if my idea is workable, I intend to cut the discourse short by hitting on a few of Le Creuset's sore points (hypocrisy regarding his cause; as he's guilty for some of the escalations he touts as "proof" humanity deserves to be annihilated; hatred for his genetic donor Al da Flaga, which should also extend to even the slightest hint of insinuating that they are alike) and angering him to the point he shuts up and focuses on another target (preferably someone who can handle him, but we'll have to see who can IC say my whole rebuttal towards Le Creuset).
His alter ego Hallelujah would verbally destroy Rau le Creuset like he did to Healing Care before finishing him off in a very humiliating way as shown in Gundam 00 Season 2 finale battle.
Speaking of Scirocco, he is the only Gundam main antagonist who doesn't have much of a backstory other than he was a former member of the Jupiter Energy Fleet and he decided to take over the Earth Federation with a puppet queen he controls as he designed the Titania mobile suit for her but never got to build it after his death.
He was just a walking example of not all Newtypes are nice people and they can use their abilities for ill intentions.

It's no wonder Durandal thought the Destiny Plan was workable, when you yourself are the biggest proof towards its validity, given that for all of your rejections of being like Al da Flaga, you wound up just like him, a fine piece of irony. Truly, you are a perfect copy of Al da Flaga, for you too believe that the world revolves around you and you alone and your plans to annihilate stem from your selfish decision to condemn the world to be destroyed just because you don't get to enjoy it for long. If Al da Flaga were to see you now, he would be proud at how well you've carried out his legacy."
Started working on a plan. Opinions are welcome (no voting until I finish the list of people to send fight Le Creuset, I get a name for the plan and QM says that my speech is indeed valid).

Going to say that the opening line doesn't QUITE work as written given that Rau and ZAFT as a whole are already aware of the existence of the Council as alluded to at the start of the last update. If you write it as 'surely you're already aware of the existence of the Council' or something like that, it'll gel better. Of course, it'll also cause Rau to say that the Council's existence only further proves his point, given that Council has embraced the absolute worst traits of humanity in an attempt to fulfill their ambitions, but that's where the rest of your speech comes in, which I think would serve as an adequate response to that.

Finally selected who is going to give Le Creuset the deconstructive speech. Opinions are welcome (I'm still refraining from voting just yet, to make sure it is valid and to see if people want to chime in some more on if we want to focus on the breakthrough and if we want to send more people to fight Le Creuset).
Speech seems valid and IC for Amuro, although after the first sentence, Creuset's going to respond, so I might make a few alterations to the wording after that point for a better fit.

August UE 0084
Area around Jachin Due, L5
You are Otto Midas, and you've had to launch the Nahel Argama in a hurry into one of the biggest fracas the Earth Sphere has ever seen since the Battle of Axis. Liam gives you a look of sympathy as you pore over the incoming battle data.
"Incoming orders from Bright Noa, sir!" Mihiro reports. "We're to try and break through ZAFT's battle lines at Jachin Due to reinforce our Super Robots there!"
"Not asking for much, is he?" You deadpan as you see a GINN explode just off the ship's bow. "Well, at least we're not alone, unlike the time we went up against the Sleeves."
"We'd better keep the main force together when we push for the breakthrough." Liam says. "Trying hit the Jachin Due line in different groups under these circumstances will only get us destroyed piecemeal."
"Of course." You nod at Liam, grateful for her advice. "Get the group into a formation suitable for a forward charge, and get ready to fire the Hyper Megaparticle Cannon on my command!"
Mihiro nods as she goes to relay your orders to the rest of the battlegroup.
You see the sensor profile of the Qubeley MK-III suddenly break formation and head toward the main battle.
"Haman, what are you doing?!" You ask in alarm.
"I feel a sense of unease emanating from Amuro Ray. It seems like he will require assistance." Haman says.
You look at Liam, who merely shrugs.
"Fine. Just don't blame us if you get yourself killed!"
"I wouldn't dream of it." Haman says before cutting her connection.
You sigh in frustration before turning your attention back to your imminent charge at Jachin Due.
"How are the Super Robots behind enemy lines doing?" You ask.
Super Robot Hold Out-Roll 8d10 against total armor DC of all five Super Robots, severity of damage depends on how much the roll is beaten by. Defensive spirit commands may be used in emergencies. Add 2d10 to the ZAFT roll every round until you break through to Jachin Due with the main force.
Group Armor DC 49 = 45 (Total Armor) + 4 (Gunbuster's Inertial Canceller) - 4 (Attrition)
Roll 8d10 + 5 (Organized resistance)
8, 9, 4, 4, 1, 4, 5, 5
40 + 5 = 45
All Super Robots in the strike team take 1000 damage
"They've only sustained minor damage so far, sir. If we manage to break through, we can take the pressure off of them." Mihiro reports.
"Good, damn good! Charge!" You order.
The Nahel Argama fires its beam cannons at a charging Council ship attempting to intercept you, while Randgriths and Razangriffs shell any Council machine that attempts to interfere with your advance. You are Rau Le Creuset, and you are in a good mood. You've just sent your hated rival Mu La Flaga running back to the Archangel with his tail between his legs, and the battle between ZAFT and Blue Cosmos is only intensifying. Even with the intervention of the Solar Vanguard and N.U.N.S. it's only a matter of time before they lose what little control they have of the situation.
And so, you decide to get rid of the one thing that's keeping things from escalating: the Solar Vanguard.
You boost toward where Londo Bell and the N.U.N.S. fleet are intercepting Blue Cosmos' nuclear missiles, idly destroying three Council Fishbowls and a pair of Variable Fighters that try to stop you.
However, as you get closer, you get that same feeling you experience whenever Mu La Flaga is close, and turn to see the Hi-Nu Gundam approaching the Providence. Hm. Are you perhaps a Newtype, but never realized it until this point? Or do you possess Quantum Brainwaves? You doubt you'll live long enough to find out the truth of the matter, not that you care when your plans have come this far.
"Ah, the White Devil himself!" You taunt, firing the Providence's beam cannon at the Hi-Nu. "You truly believe you can stop what I have set into motion?"
"I was able to push back Axis, wasn't I?" Amuro Ray retorts as he easily dodges your shot.
"Perhaps, but even witnessing that miracle wasn't enough to change the hearts of man! And look what they have wrought!" You proclaim, gesturing to the surrounding battle with the Providence's arms.
A sudden alertness fills your mind, and you maneuver out of your current position just in time to dodge a salvo of beams from funnels. You turn to see the Qubeley MK-III charging at you and firing its wrist-mounted beam guns.
"You wicked man." Haman Karn says. "You whose soul is weighed down by the gravity of your circumstances, do you truly not believe in the innate goodness of humanity?"
"Oh, it is not that I do not believe humanity is capable of virtue." You retort, deploying your DRAGOONs to give you some breathing room. "It is that such things are wasted on such a loathsome species!"
The Hi-Nu and Qubeley MK-III are forced to dodge the salvos of beams your DRAGOONs fill the void of space with.
"Surely you cannot be unaware of the Council of the Veil, given ZAFT's lack of surprise at their arrival?" Amuro says as he dodges a pair of DRAGOON shots before forcing you to recall the ones sent against him as he fires the Hi-Nu's head vulcans. "They're an impassable obstacle to your goals. Even if you were to somehow induce all of humanity in the known galaxy to wipe itself out, the Council would merely repopulate it in their conquest."
"Ah, but the existence of the Council only vindicates me!" You crow in delight as you slash a stray Artillery mech in half. "See this iteration of mankind that has taken on, no, embraced the worst traits of humanity! Why bother attempting to change humanity for the better when it will only take the path of least resistance in the end?!"
You fire your beam cannon at the Hi-Nu, forcing it dodge.
"There's no guarantee things will turn out like that here." Amuro retorts. "Besides, it was never about how self-destructive humanity can be, and how you've merely managed to accelerate that supposed inevitability, is it, Le Creuset?"
You narrow your eyes as you charge at the Hi-Nu with the Providence's shield mounted beam saber. Amuro parries your blow before kicking the Providence away.
"No," Amuro continues, "you've conveniently ignored your own role in contributing to the escalation of this war! You're no better than Azrael, Chairman Zala, and countless others the Solar Vanguard has fought! No wonder Durandal thought the Destiny Plan was viable!"
"How-" You sputter as you dodge a shot from the Hi-Nu's beam rifle while parrying a beam saber strike from the Qubeley MK-III.
"You thought you were the only one with a vested interest in Mendel?" Amuro says smugly before his tone becomes vicious. "But to Durandal, you're the biggest piece of proof toward the validity of the Destiny Plan. After all, for all you attempted to differentiate yourself from your original, you couldn't have turned out more like Al da Flaga! Truly ironic! After all, both of you believe that the world revolves around you, and you'd rather destroy the world rather than accept you won't be able to live in it as long, or try to prolong your life! I daresay Al da Flaga would be proud at how well you've taken after him, and carried on his legacy!"
"DO NOT COMPARE ME TO THAT PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A MAN!" You bellow, unleashing all of your DRAGOONs and directing them to fire on the Hi-Nu Gundam.
"Ha! You sure love to talk, Le Creuset, but you sure as hell don't like it when people talk to you, huh?" A new voice taunts you.
You turn to see the Arios Gundam approaching in its mobile armor form at high speed, firing its twin beam rifle at the Providence. You block the beam rounds with the Providence's shield.
"Damn you, Celestial Being! You think your intervention will be able to stop this conflict?!" You snarl.
A flash of light grabs your attention, and you realize that Amuro Ray was able to survive your assault by having the Hi-Nu form an I-Field pyramid with its Fin Funnels.
"You whose wicked soul is weighed down by gravity, begone!" Haman yells, sending her Qubeley's funnels at the Providence.
"Do not think you can take me so easily just because I'm outnumbered!" You retort, redeploying your DRAGOONs and forcing all three of them to reposition. You are Yzak Joule, and you feel like you're out of your depth. You're currently fighting alongside the Freedom, Justice, a pink Strike, the Buster, and several M-1 Astrays against the Blue Cosmos Gundam trio while also shooting down nuclear missiles and any Council machine that tries to interfere.
"HAH!" The pilot of the Raider shouts as he hurls its mace at the Justice, which dodges.
"Damn it!" Athrun huffs as he fires a salvo of missiles from his METEOR at the Raider, which simply eats the salvo with its TPS Armor and emerges unscathed.
"Why are you guys fighting so hard, anyway?" The pilot of the Raider asks in bafflement.
"I should be asking you the same thing!" Athrun yells as he swings a METEOR scale beam saber at the Raider. "What are you fighting for?"
"How should I know? I only kill because otherwise I'd be killed!" The pilot of the Raider answers as he dodges Athrun's slash before saying in a sing-song voice, "But I will never be killed!"

Result: Shani and Orga are killed. Clotho is severely demoralized at the loss of the closest thing he has to friends.
"Come on!" Dearka yells, firing the Buster's anti-armor shotgun at the Forbidden. The salvo of railgun slugs impacts uselessly against its TPS Armor, but it does seem to disorient the pilot.
"Damn you psychos!" Cagalli yells as she fires every weapon her weird Striker pack is equipped with, railguns, cannons, shield-mounted gatling gun, and beam rifle all spitting death at the Forbidden Gundam.
The pilot of the Forbidden is unable to dodge in time, and the sheer amount of ordinance it's hit with seems to momentarily overwhelm its TPS armor, the beams having been successfully deflected. When the smoke clears, you see some of its joints sparking slightly.
"You little-" The pilot of the Forbidden fires its curving beam cannon at the Strike Rouge.
Realizing she won't be able to dodge in time, you move the Duel in front of it, deflecting the beam with your shield. You fire the Duel's beam rifle at the Forbidden, only for the beam to curve away.
"Bah!" You holster your beam rifle before drawing a beam saber and charging at the Forbidden at full tilt.
The Forbidden fires its beam cannon at you again. This time, the beam overwhelms your shield and slams into the Duel's Assault Shroud. You jettison both as they detonate, charging out of the smoke at the Forbidden as you draw a second beam saber.
The pilot of the Forbidden raises its scythe in an attempt at defense, but you're already too close. You're able to hack off the Forbidden's arms before stabbing it through the cockpit.
"Shani?!" The pilot of the Calamity yells in distress as the Forbidden explodes.
The Calamity fires its weapons at the Freedom, which easily dodges before swinging at it with a METEOR beam saber. The Calamity is able to dodge, but this leaves it completely open for Athrun to bisect it with his own METEOR beam saber.
"ORGA!" The pilot of the Raider cries out in what assume passes for sadness.
The Raider is waylaid by a pair of GN-Xs, allowing you and the others to start attacking Blue Cosmos ships. You see the Freedom bisect one ship lengthwise, while Dearka ventilates another with the Buster's anti-armor shotgun. You spot the Doolittle and rocket up close to the bridge, looking Admiral Sutherland in the eye. He has just enough time to recoil in fear before you launch a grenade into the bridge, taking down the ship. You are Natarle Badriguel, and you see Murata Azrael's eyes widen as he witnesses the destruction of the Doolittle.
"NO!" He cries out, putting hands on the sides of his head.
You look down, unwilling to say anything.
"Damn it, this is the fault of that ship of traitors! Finish them off! Use the Lohengrin on them!" Azrael yells at the weapons officer.
With Azrael waving a gun in his face, the weapons officer reluctantly complies, starting the arming process of the Lohengrin.
"No!" Flay suddenly cries out. "Archangel, move!"
"You damn bitch!" Azrael yells, slapping Flay before pointing his gun at her.
"What the hell are you doing?!" You yell as you grapple with Azrael.
"Badriguel! I knew you were rotten in the end!" Azrael shouts as he struggles with you.
During the struggle, Azrael accidentally fires his gun several times, almost hitting the bridge crew.
"All hands, abandon ship! Head over to the Archangel!" You order as your struggle with Azrael takes you into a corner of the bridge.
"Don't you dare desert now, you fucking bastards!" Azrael yells as he continues to struggle against you. "If you won't pull the trigger, then I'll do it myself!"
As you try to grab Azrael's gun, it goes off, and you suddenly feel a warmth on your abdomen. You wince in pain and glance down to see you've been shot.
Your blood floating around the bridge in microgravity seems to spur the bridge crew into action, as they start leaving the bridge. Azrael throws you off of him before taking a look at the approaching Archangel on the main viewscreen.
"Damn it, I can't die like this!" He proclaims before floating over to the weapons console. "I'm going to win. That's right, I always win!"
As he starts typing, you realize he knows just enough about the weapons systems to aim and fire the Lohengrin.
"Azrael, you bastard!" You shout, pain delaying your actions.
The Dominion's remaining Lohengrin fires at the Archangel. You are Murrue Ramius, and you see no way out as a positron beam heads straight for your bridge.
"Evade!" You order.
"We can't, it's too late!" Arnold Neumann yells even as he desperately turns the controls.
Right before the beam makes contact, there's a blinding flash of light, and you realize that the Strike has interposed itself in front the bridge, intercepting the beam with its shield, the telltale glow of...a pinpoint barrier emanating from it?
"I seem to have a knack for making the impossible possible!" Mu proclaims as the Strike's shield and its remaining arm explode, right as the beam cuts out.
You sag in your chair, tears of relief streaming down your face in microgravity. The mystery directions Samsara gave you at the New Year are starting to make sense.
"Tell Mu to get his ass back in here, now!" You order, vacillating between joy and anger. "You lose." You smirk at Azrael.
"Damn it!" Azrael yells, whipping his pistol out and shooting you in the leg.
"Ah!" You cry out in pain, even more of your blood floating about the bridge.
"No!" Flay yells, drifting up to Azrael and hitting him in the face with a tablet.
Flay floats over to you before kicking off, dragging you with her out of the bridge.
"Damn you bitches!" Azrael yells, firing his gun at the two of you. One shot hits you in the shoulder.
"Gah!" You clutch your shoulder before turning to the side. "Hang on, get me over to that control panel!"
Flay brings you over to the panel in question, where you hit a red button. The doors to the bridge close, before emergency shutters drop down, cutting off Azrael's chances of escape.
"BADRIGUEL! OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW!" Azrael yells from the other side.
"No. You're a sick bastard who deserves to die." You retort before wincing in pain.
"Please, don't die, Natarle!" Flay says as she presses down on your abdominal wound while leading you to a lifeboat.
After your lifeboat launches, you glance out the viewport as the Dominion continues to drift toward the Archangel.
Fire, Captain Ramius! You think to yourself, hoping Murrue will somehow hear your thoughts despite neither of you being Newtypes.
To your relief, the Archangel fires its Lohengrin after a few seconds, destroying the Dominion, and with it, Murata Azrael.
Only then do you allow yourself to lose consciousness, Flay and the crew in the lifeboat still tending to your gunshot wounds. You are Mira Ayana, and it feels like it's you and the girls versus everything else in existence at the moment.
"Damn it!" You yell as you skewer a Big Horn through the torso with the Crystal Sword.
"Ship! Ship!" Lucia calls out frantically.
You immediately boost away from the salvo of beams an Abstract-class ship fires at the Rose.
"Eat shit Council assholes!" A VF-19 pilot yells as he fires a salvo of missiles at the enemy ship, destroying it.
"We're going to lose control of the situation if we don't deal with the Council quickly." Lelouch points out as the Shinkiro cuts a Headhunter in half with its main cannon.
"Well, I'm open to suggestions!" You deadpan as you draw the Energy Whip and cut a Dustpan-class ship in half with it.
Two more Dustpan-class ships turn to approach, but are destroyed by Hadron rounds from the Ikaruga.
"Zero, it looks like Blue Cosmos is starting to pull back even though reinforcements from their base at Ptolemaus Lunar Crater are starting to arrive." Ohgi reports.
"What happened?" You ask.
"Hang on, we're getting an update now...it looks like Murata Azrael and Admiral Sutherland have both been killed! Blue Cosmos' morale is breaking!" Ohgi reports. "But the Council is redoubling its efforts to storm Jachin Due. It looks like they're reorienting for a full assault on it, and they're still bringing in reinforcements!"
"Hang on." Yurika interjects. "Doesn't it seem like GENESIS is...turning?"
"Oh no..." Lucia says quietly.
"What is it?" Yukari and Nina ask at the same time.
"It looks like...GENESIS is turning to face Earth." Lucia answers.
Your blood runs cold.
"We need to stop that, NOW!" You urge.
"Already calling the other commanders about it!" Yurika chirps.
You spur the Rose forward, only for the sight of an unusual ZAFT Gundam to catch your eye.
It's heading straight for the Freedom, and the Hi-Nu is in hot pursuit.
A pit forms in your stomach, and you change course to follow Amuro. TACTICAL OVERVIEW
Blue Cosmos is in full retreat.
The Council is focusing all of their efforts on trying to hijack GENESIS.
GENESIS appears to be turning to face Earth.
GENESIS cannot be damaged with conventional weapons due its extensive Phase Shift Armor.
Aside from Amuro and Mira, who else helps Kira deal with Rau Le Creuset?
Pick UP TO TWO of the below choices. You may also choose to not send anyone else to help.
[ ] Stella
[ ] Suzaku
[ ] Kallen
[ ] Setsuna
[ ] Kamille A/N: Things will end the next turn, one way or another. Please vote, discuss, and critique.
Is there an advantage to only sending 1 supporter or not sending anyone at all? For instance, we're more likely to stop the Genesis or push back the Council if Amuro and Kira tackle Rau alone?
