On the other hand it also says a lot of why they had a lot of trouble with our MS squads.

These guys were too used to either their dimensions nanomalite armor, or dimensions that really didn't had much means to scratch them unless they sent the big guys and considering they overwhelm in numbers.

Like just seeing these things the AG really leaves a lot to desire on mook MS.

It would explain about Gjallarhorn being arrogant and assume their next target dimension will be easy like Gundam AGE's dimension.

Plus Dainsleifs, it's pretty obvious that the Gundams used by Flit and his family won't stand up against them.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US IMMEDIATELY THAT THE BARBARIANS MANIFESTED A COPY OF THE SPACE BATTLESHIP YAMATO!?" A high ranking official from the Council screeches.
"We're sending in a high-tier asset. Hopefully, it will be able to take care of the Yamato. If not, well..." The official trails off.

"What makes you so confident that this singular thing you're sending me will be able to solve the problem of a battleship that destroyed 3 armadas you sent after it, utterly dooming the invasion of that dimension?" Rustal asks.

"We're not! But it's the only powerful thing we can send to you on such short notice. Try to keep it in one piece." The Council official says derisively before terminating his end of the connection.

Well, this is some very valuable information indeed. Right off the bat, we learn that there ARE things the Council legitimately fears. Makes sense the Yamato is on their 'send everything and the kitchen sink' list if they encounter it, its just that powerful.

But the most important thing we need to take note of? We aren't the first dimension to beat back the Council, not just resist but utterly defeat. Things are also going so poorly for them that they can't rely on optimal solutions anymore. The Council is overstretched. And I think I see an endgame besides just becoming too much of a hassle for the Council. If we can link up with some of those other dimensions, we can form a coalition and take the fight to the Council itself. If we can figure out a reliable method of dimensional travel and get maps of where the Council said 'here be fuck that' along with their home dimension, we might be able to end them once and for all.

Wouldn't be surprised if we get help from some of the higher stuff later down the road to open a path to the council main HQ.

Like Photon Energy and Getter rays would totally just make it to give a middle finger to the council.

Especially since we got confirmation of their multiverse nature that goes by Infinity canon already.

Wonder if we could jury right the calculation unit to those things to open a path.

After all Boson jumps are still kinda broken (hello SRW W stable timeloop) and I don't doubt we could use it to get to the council Home dimensión or recruit people if we rig it to something that gives it access to it.

Considering we already pretty much derailed Nadesico canon we could probably use it for a while and then throw it to the bottom of Júpiter sea like in canon or to the sun for good meassure after we end the plot.

The only possible downside to relying on Photon Energy's multiversal nature would be ZERO catching wind of us. I really don't want to deal with that thing - at least the Getter only kills us all when things go horrifically wrong. Still, Z hasn't been repaired, so hopefully it'll ignore us.

While I agree the Genoace is not a very good suit, I don't think you would have much of a chance of hitting a Gundam in open space with a Dainsleif.

Turn 15: After the dust settles
April UE 0084
Berlin, Germany

You and Lucia open the door to the girls' room to find Nina and Yukari naked on their bed, arms wrapped around each other.

You sigh before grabbing a bedsheet off the floor and covering the two of them up. Lucia sits down at the desk and opens a book.

"I'm more and more inclined to think the cybernetics did do something to their libido..." You mutter to yourself as you leave the girls' room and look out a window. The rising sun is quite beautiful.

"You're not entirely wrong about that." Samsara says as she joins you at the window.

"Why didn't you go back to your pocket dimension?" You ask without turning around.

"My central processors need time to recover, and transporting my physical body takes more effort than you might think." Samsara embraces you from behind. "Besides, how could I say no to spending more time with you? You're practically like a niece to me."

Something about what she said strikes at something in your heart, and you feel tears well up in your eyes.

"You know...this is the first time I feel like I've had a family since Operation British." You say quietly.

Samsara embraces you more tightly as she strokes your hair affectionately. You lean against her.

When the girls come out of their room a bit later, they see you with your head in Samsara's lap, Samsara running a brush through your hair.

Personal Actions

[ ] Socialize with someone
-Pick TWO people from the allied character sheet

Research Actions (Pick TWO)

[ ] The D Project
-OZ is confident that they have sufficient knowledge of Metal Armors to upgrade the machines of the Dragonar Team.
-Will upgrade D-1, D-2, and D-3 to their custom versions with lifters.

[ ] Counterfeit Bronze Bell
-With Himika having stolen the Bronze Bells-and with them, the ability to use both Jeegs-Professor Shiba is trying to come up with alternatives to enable them. Big Falcon and the Nanbara Connection might have a solution, although it definitely won't be a perfect substitute for having the Bronze Bells...
-Will enable Steel Jeeg and Kotetsu Jeeg to be used before the Jeeg finale
-Both units will suffer maluses in combat, especially if they have to fight the Jama Kingdom

[ ] Goddesses of Love and the Hunt
-After accidentally creating a Dimensional Distortion using Photon Power and staring into it for a fraction of a second, Professor Yumi and several of the other scientists at Photon Power Labs have had flashes of inspiration for new Super Robots based off of Venus A and Aphrodite A. The designs seem promising, although it's not clear why the pilot suit for Artemis A seems to only consist of several lines on the design document...
-Will grant access to Venus A (ZERO) and Artemis A for Jun and Sayaka, respectively.

Solar Vanguard Actions (Pick FIVE)

[ ] Repair Gunbuster
-Repairs on Gunbuster are proceeding apace. However, there is still much that has to be done...
-3 turns of repairs left
-Upon finishing repairs to Gunbuster, will unlock a research action to develop the Sizzler as an MP Super Robot
-Taking this actions represents significant material cost. As a result, available generic forces will be either less numerous, lower quality, or of less variety.
-While Gunbuster is under repair, Noriko will be available as a pilot for any generic Super Robot (i.e. the Grungust if it is developed)

[ ] Diplomacy, Cephiro style
-The Magic Knights have managed to ward off the efforts of those who would try to conquer Cephiro. Aside from the Council and the Jama Kingdom, three other 'adjacent' worlds are attempting to claim Cephiro for their own: the Republic of Autozam, the Kingdom of Chizeta, and the Empire of Fahren. Although belligerent, they seem amenable to negotiation. The Magic Knights also report that Nova has appeared in Cephiro, and has attempted to kill the Magic Knights and their associates while expressing a desire to capture and rape Hikaru. You should probably send something to help them, even if it's just a single Super Robot.
-The Magic Knights will not be happy if no help is sent. Neither will the people of Cephiro.

[ ] The Strength of Familial Ties
-Professor Go (he dislikes being referred to as Prince La Gohl) feels like he should be able to sway Heinel by revealing that he is Heinel's father, which makes him half-brother to Kenichi, Daijirou, and Hiyoshi. Whether or not he believes it is another matter entirely. Professor Go assures that he has a foolproof way to do so. That just leaves the question of how you'll be able to get Professor Go, the Voltes Team, and Heinel in the same place without Heinel trying to kill the others...

[ ] Speak now or forever hold your peace
-An intercepted transmission from the Balmian's command ship has revealed something stunning-Erika is set to marry Olban, the current head of the Balm military! Kazuya thinks that Erika must be up to something, and a leaked message seems to reinforce this: if it is to be believed, Richter is willing to shed some light on the matter. However, he has one condition: Miwa must go, one way or another.

[ ] Intrusive Whispers
-Sosuke and Tessa have reported that shortly after the battle against Gjallarhorn, Kaname's personality seemed to undergo a radical shift. Hopefully some Newtypes and Marianne vi Britannia will be able to figure things out. They'll have to work fast, as it seems Amalgam is mustering forces for an attack on the Tuatha de Danaan...

-[ ] Memento Mori
-It appears that Giganos and the A-LAWS are working on some kind of superweapon code-named Memento Mori. Send Celestial Being to assist Katharon in verifying the existence of and destroying it.

[ ] The Slanting Chessboard
-Britannia seems to be up to something. With Schneizel having managed to restore some degree of order to the confused Britannian nobility, he seems to be focusing on shoring up the defenses of the Britannian Isles, no doubt to give him some room to work on FLEIJAs. Also of concern is that C.C. feels like something is fundamentally...wrong, and that the source is coming from the Thought Elevator north of London. Deal with one of these things or the other.

End of Turn Event

The MAGI predict that an Angel will show up at the end of the month. The MAGI believe that this Angel will be extremely powerful compared to those that came before it.

BE PREPARED.

A/N: The start of the next turn. Decisions, decisions...
Update the pilot sheet with Macross Frontier characters, and put things in spoilers to save space.
Please vote, discuss, and critique! In fact, I demand more of the last two!

Edit: So I somehow forgot that I already gave you the Dragoon in Turn 12. Oops. Now the research option is just to get the upgraded Dragonars.

True but Dainsleifs were fired all at once by squads of Grazes carrying them and the enemy can't dodge them all. Also since the AG dimension is wiped out, Flit and his family are toast like what happened to Tekkadan.

Regarding Solar Vanguard Actions, Repair Gunbuster and Diplomacy, Cephiro style are pretty much mandatory. As for the other three actions, I'm tempted to take both Memento Mori and The Slanting Chessboard, since both of those matters are important (especially The Slanting Chessboard, since that's another step towards resolving the Civil War, something that we need to do and would also secure more funding and manpower), which would leave 1 more action to take between The Strength of Familial Ties, Speak now or forever hold your peace or Intrusive Whispers (that said, I would want to hear what the rest of the thread thinks about what SV actions we should take).

As for research... we've had access to Dragoons back in Turn 12's Gundam 00 event...
in addition to Dragoons, the Federation's first Metal Armor, apparently designed using data taken from studying the Metal Armors of the Dragonar team.

So question, does picking the repairs for the gunbuster will be subject to dice again or does it decrease the current turn number needed to get it functional again?

Like if we don't choose it this turn does the coming one would be a 2 turns left?

As for research.

The MP dragoons and the Dragonars custom loadout seems to be a net positive all the way around.

The counterfeit bells still sound like a very bad idea due to them probably needing a lot of DC's.

So for second I say we go with the photon labs idea.

Either way, Cephiro has become mandatory, especially after the little mishap that happened last turn so that is a must otherwise we get consequences.

As I said once before, we are pretty much at the level where we can derail the Voltes V plot out of the rails and if we do decent enough, this will shoot down the main boazanian invasion force and more than probably convert them into allies, which would only leave whatever rogue remains that follow zul zambajil to be taken care off and even then they would be with scarce resources so this is pretty much a sure way to lift something off our shoulders.

As for the Daimos plot
However, he has one condition: Miwa must go, one way or another.
Let's be honest getting rid of Miwa right now is a net positive, especially since that man is as crazy as a goat and has the hateboner for anything from space rivaling Murata Asrael.

Hell Kazuya leaves him pretty much in a body case on canon due to the man taking it too far that even some of the titans would tell him to chill out.

Also for Ritcher to be open to talks it must be pretty serious at this point and probably gives us an out for peace talks again with Baam which pretty much also shoots down another threat, especially since we should be able to start rooting out the true conspirators of the conflict with this and get Ritcher as an ally if everything goes well too.

Geass is already reaching critical point too, so we must take it this turn, especially since C.C. is outright warning us that Charles is probably getting his plan in progress for the world without lies.

If we drop the gunbusters repairs this turn that just leaves us with either the A-laws Giganos and the assault of Amalgam.

Seems Kaname is already undergoing whatever shit Leonard does to her and considering whispereds are some of our bests researchers and that this is the part where they kidnap Kaname and Tessa.

I say we go Full Metal Panic.

Also here is the weapon from the A-laws, still unsure if we should take this one

Will wait for QM answer on the Gunbuster too before forming a plan.

Also shit just noticed the obligatory event.

Be prepared bois we are going to war with zeruel.

Either way damn now this makes it more tricky.

We either leave the gunbusters repairs for the coming turn and get 5 events or we do it now and get only 4.

We also need to remember this

-Taking this actions represents significant material cost. As a result, available generic forces will be either less numerous, lower quality, or of less variety.

So we get less mooks to deal with big numbers and I don't doubt the council will try to fuck up one of the events for what we did to the laser they sent.

Desicions desicion.

Desicions desicion.

On the one hand, QM implied that it would be preferable for us to finsh the Gunbuster repairs sooner rather than later. On the other hand, we have enough competing important actions that maybe shouldn't be thrown to the side that we may have to accept the delay for Repair Gunbuster (it would also mean our generic force deployment is going to be better for the turn, since we have money to spare for them, rather than funneling it all into Gunbuster).

Yeah, without counting that on the end of the turn we have to fight the last angel before we enter the final stages of Evangelion.

And I see coming that the guy will probably pull out the same trick of MP angels that Ramiel pulled out during his fight, so us having more mooks at hand to deal with mock angels may be a good idea too.

Either that or some other nasty tricks, Wafer did say he would give us more or less 90% of our fighting force for that encounter in specific.

So this plan rellies that we leave the gunbusters repairs for coming turn and that the dice is merciful for that one ocassion to give us some leeway on those, as for the choices I already made clear that Cephiro, Geass and FMP are pretty much obligatory, due to consequences of taking negative loses with the magic knights, without counting that we need to keep an eye on nova and Debonair, like I said if the Daimos and Voltes V events go well we can pretty much shoot down two invasions right now and gain a good amount of allies, especially if we can deploy Daimos and Voltes monsters of the week as mook units with this, the FMP event is pretty much where they kidnap both Kaname and Tessa and losing both of our whispered would be very bad at the moment, finally the geass event is also obligatory due to warnings from C.C. that shit is going down on the though elevator on london.

As for Social, this is the point where Sosuke and Kazuya get down in the slumps on canon due to them probably losing their girlfriends, so in case things don't go our way we need to be there at least to give them a little peptalk, like iirc this makes Sousuke lose the Lambda driver for a time and Kazuya loses his spirit to fight too.

On the other hand.

This is pretty much the same, but drops the Voltes and Daimos plot for the gunbuster and the 00 events.

Still really don't feel that we should leave the Daimos and Voltes plot on air, especially since if this was a SRW game proper those 2 are already on secret units paths and the thing about those is that just missing one of those events can leave you locked out of those units for the rest of the game (just finished Alpha 1 today and stuff like saving Four being locked to the huckebein route is totally BS) and considering that in canon both Heinel and Ritcher fucking die it may be worth to pursue those paths still.

As for the memento mori dunno it just feels like one more colony laser more, actually isn't the Gryps II colony laser still operational?

Like we know we gonna have to deal with one more during the SEED ending, but may we could use that to our adventage, wouldn't be the first time that rerouting a completed colony laser nets good results, like on SRW W where it was the key piece on ending the Radam threat on the moon.

-Will grant access to Venus A (ZERO) and Artemis A for Jun and Sayaka, respectively.

To answer that last question for those who haven't read ZERO - in that universe, Kouji is a cyborg due to sustaining fatal wounds in an in person duel with Doctor Hell. Since this gave him superhuman reflexes and speed, Artemis A was designed with a neural interface so Sayaka could keep up with him.

It's just a very sillily designed interface.

As much as I would like to rebuild Gunbuster, we simply do not have the time. If we can knock out Geass, Daimos and Voltes that is the potential to end 3 entire conflicts, giving us a lot more breathing room. Cephiro is critical as well, and I'd rather try to deal with FMP, as well keep an eye on Marianne. While I do feel we can trust her, this isn't the kinda thing we can afford to get wrong.

[X] Socialize with someone
-[X] Getter Team
-[X] Photon Labs Team

Just picked the Super Robot teams because I like them TBH. Should probably figure out what was going on with the second Getter Team being popsicles though, so that's at least one practical benefit.

[X] Goddesses of Love and the Hunt

That's two more high level super robots, one of which is basically to Venus as Kaiser is to Z. This feels rather obvious.

[X] Counterfeit Bronze Bell

We're going to Cephiro, so I feel like we should probably get the Jeegs ready. They'll be debuffed, but at least they'll work. Also Zeruel is coming and we're gonna need all the Super Robots we can possibly get.

[X] Repair Gunbuster

Duh.

[X] Diplomacy, Cephiro style

We are not leaving the kids alone, especially not when Nova is at maximum crazy sex offender. This is not optional.

[X] Intrusive Whispers

I distinctly remember this event going horribly wrong in canon. We should try to avert that.

[X] The Slanting Chessboard

Do not let the lunatic with WMDs have breathing room, for the love of God.

[X] The Strength of Familial Ties

This or the Balm event are both fine with me, but I guess I'd prefer this one?

...So, I looked up the pilot suit for Artemis A and...

I think we will lose Professor Yumi to Patricide if we go through with that one. Or possibly prison because what the fuck?

It's the skimpiest pilot suit I have ever fucking seen. Ivy from Soulcalibur has more cloth covering her!

And don't get me started on the connection ports!

I am not posting it, because I legit think I might get a mod warning!

Yeah, it's extremely dumb. It was the three professor's idea, which explains much - Yumi was as horrified as everyone else. For those confused - the "suit" is basically just a harness of nerve connectors that a bunch of spikes stab to hook Sayaka's nervous system up to Artemis. And she can't wear anything else with it.

At least we got that one hilarious reaction image of Kouji out of it.

It's from Sora wo Kareku Shojo, Brain Colony Leopard
It got antimatter axial cannon, swords for mirrors and tendency for physical violence.

And he's kinda jobber, yeah.
