Super Robot Quest G

Give it time - I'll do my best to include other expies, but Grimlock (either version) should hopefully make an appearance.

In character post should go up tomorrow or Friday.
Since Ichiro Needs a Codename for while a variant of Hulk is the most obvious considering Hulk is acknowledged as a Powerhouse I feel like it shoud be save for a Final Form instead of a First Combined Form.

So Here are some suggetions:
Avenger- Obvious shoutout to Avengers Team

Iron Colossus- A Fusion of Iron Man & the fact our SR ares Giants

Behemoth- A Land Monster in Mythology

Mammoth- inline with Beowulfs Animal named combinations with Mammoth Nose Kinda Like a Tanks Cannon/

...I'm somewhat concerned given the Kaus are Flipped that if Grimlock shows up he's going to be a wildcard on Tyrannous' side. That would be of the Bad, so it would.

Really, what we need here is more than a triple combiner. What we need, especially given the Legio Galbinus is a bunch of Decepti-expys, is some CONSTRUCTICONS! That's right. I am talking DEVASTATOR.

Now I'm waiting to see if some group with a hitherto unknown mad scientist is crazy enough to try to snag and then piece together an entire Kaiju skeleton after it gets frozen by Mercury piece by piece to try to pull off a Mechagodzilla scenario and do the reverse of Sheol.

Probably improbable but it'd be something if it does happen at least.

re: Drone names: I still like AVAIL (Autonomous Vehicular Armored Intelligent Laborer), but Golem is acceptable.

re: Ichiro combination name: I'm kinda partial to Goliath, personally.

My takes on G1 vs. Shattered Glass Grimlock:

Me, Grimlock, am king! Me, Grimlock, not need cowardly Prime or badge!

It does appear that I, Grimlock, might be construed to be something of an Autobot, wot? Understandable, I suppose. But really, let us not kid ourselves. Linguistic quirks aside, let me assure you, gentlebeings, that I, Grimlock, am on my own side, thank you very much.

Jokes aside, once the poor guy finds out what Earth's actual deal is, investigation is gonna be a nightmare.

"What do you mean Configuration is a native thing"
"Okay, so that's from us, right?...Right?"
"I have no damn idea what that even is supposed to be, get that abomination outta my sight"
"What do you mean they fixed the issues we've been having with that?"
"For unauthorized-" "They figured that one out on their own." "Is dragging me into this really necessary?"
"They gave you what?!" "Hi!"
"Okay, that's... kind of innovative, I must admit, but- wait, what's the output on that?!"
"There are how many other spacefaring powers here?!"

Honestly with all of the space faring powers on earth I'm surprised when some other power that be in space checks it out they don't hear this.

So just checking but by finishing up on the Golems this turn basically means right as the Inspectors show up, we've successfully created out own home grown complete mekruen set up with nothing from the Legion beyond inspiration on a practical rather than theoretical level (aka we know it exists rather than just think it could) and some psychology check ups to ensure we haven't messed anything up too much?

... That said I am REALLY looking for to the Inspectors encountering Delphi. If the Legion were shocked by her capabilities, what do you think their reaction to her will be?

Not right away - the only reason you know Percivax is here is because of Adrianna's ridiculous roll. It'll take him a little bit to get to you.

Though I do imagine he's going to have a headache.

TBF we also got Battle Loot but it was from FB which we rightfully earned by participating in battle in our own land. Mekea should have nothing stand on taking criminal equipment and repurposing them.

Sending Gagarin as Welcoming Comitee as escort straight to the embassy yeah.

I wonder if an Officially Recognized Head Ambassador is higher on the totem pole or just equal to his rank.

Edit: Hmm what we Traided with Galbinus is Energy SHard Processing, Kaus Armor Plating Then Experimental Anti-Grav & Dispersion.

Apart From Energy Shard Tech the rest shouldnt be problem since they werent complete techs and honestly impractical and useless for uplifts.

Armor Plating is plain and while definately useful isnt enough for uplift either and just basic tech for Kausens which we traded with Equally.

So as long as tehy make a Proper Defence Galbinus should be able to get a Pass since it was a Tech Trade instead of Uplifting a weaker species.

Just added Percivax and Victoria to the TVTropes character sheet, since we can reasonably expect them to stick around for the foreseeable future, and due to first impressions I put them under Antagonists. Their entries are a little sparse right now, admittedly, but to be fair we've got other entries on there that're similarly small.

Biggest issue with this is that the newcomers explicitly don't plan to give him a trial at all if they can help it.
No, that's quite explicitly NOT what they plan.

Percivax didn't have a good answer to that. Until he did as he cast his mind back through the Codex of Law. "Galbinus will have a chance to defend himself," he reasoned. The Codex was clear - the defendants had a chance to present their case. It just didn't specify when, and he was going to abuse that. "I hate politics, Victoria."

From this they likely plan on having him present his case AFTER he hauls him back to the Dominion and away from the Solarian natives. He even admits he HAS to let Galbinus have a defense, it just doesn't state when. Hell he could try and force Galbinus to give his defense immediately upon hailing him so he can't actually present evidence.

It's part of why it's so important we either get one of Our AI's to reach out or our sole Space Craft to reach him. It puts him off his tempo and forced to play with ours. Making Galbinus known to be the current Diplomat from the Dominion to the Union forces him to adjust his playbook. He can't simply arrest the ambassador, he needs to play things cooler than that.

Yeah while its Risky for Gagarin its also Prestigious since theyre basiclly escorting a Delagation from an Allied Alien State.

So as long as we put serious effort on convincing its Captain it should he possible to get there help.

Okay, yeah, kinda exaggerated a bit. Pretty much expect him to forge or deliberately misinterpret evidence, though; for example, blaming anything Tyrannous does on Galbinus to "prove" that he's doing something unlawful.

Basically, I fully expect him to do everything possible to stack the deck against Galbinus, because, quite frankly, he's an asshole.

Plusse, we don't know that. Ultra Magnus has a stick up his ass, he's not actively malicious. We shouldn't expect him to be his largely the same but of opposite alignment Shattered Mirror Universe counterpart without further evidence.

Also the Only reason he planning on being a Hardass on Gal is because pf Politcs which his backers is probably against Gals on Mekea so taking down Gal helps the Parasite he was talking about. Which obviously frustrates him.

So enough evidence that Going after Gal is just plain stupid or give him a Valid reason to stop going after gal politics be damned should be possible.

We've previously been told that things won't necessarily be 1:1 parallels to the inspiration, so you'll have to forgive me for being pessimistic about how reasonable these guys are.

I'd really recommend rereading the interlude then.

"Then let it be logged - justification by Councilmech Secundus for revocation of Galbinus-Regulus's appointment as Enforcer of Dominion Law is noted to have some basis. Case file is now being built." Now Percivax sighed - he wasn't sure what the old law mech was up to, but procedure had to be followed. "Start tracking down where he is."

It sounds like he's really hoping that there's not anything to Councilmech Secundus accusation. He's merely following procedure. This is not the thought process of someone out to be malicious, this is a guy who knows he's stuck in political power plays. Give him an out, and he'll happily ignore the Shard sharing.

An out like, for example, blaming the known outlaws for carelessly leaving their stuff lying around where the natives can reverse-engineer it?
Yes, in fact telling them that we got our Blaster tech by reverse engineering Bandit's Blaster? With documentation and research logs showing that? He'll ignore Galbanius and throw that at either Bandit for being a careless shit or The Free Brothers.
