Super Robot Quest G

Definitely should get to work on stealth fighters and research the Regent's space capable tech tree.

We definitely aren't going to be winning against space capable civilizations going head on. At least not without some time to build up.

No, see, we TOTALLY held Galbinus at gunpoint. And traded an Oracle AI for it.

You cant call it uplift when we're already near-peers haha...

Edit: Man the Mekaens are gonna HATE dealing with Funnels lmao

We totally left the Legio outside in the rain one night before setting up their enclave. Just to let Galbinus know the puppy dog eye trick wouldn't work on us.

We humans are a serious species, dontcha know

What are you talking about? We confiscated it all from enemy kausen and Westphalians and reverse engineered it. AND NO ONE CAN PROVE OTHERWISE. Understand ?

I mean, I think we can actually argue that the Regency of Valrune is the one doing the uplift.

From what I recall what we got from Galbanius was Zirvitium Alloy, not exactly earth shattering, some pieces of info for captured Tech ie Blasters and dispersion field, and the ability to make Energy shards.

Meanwhile the Regency gave us the Tech for interstellar space travel.

Percivax: "Why did you engage in an illegal technology exchange, Galbinus?"

Galbinu: -slaps roof of configured Ichiro-

Percivax: "I am sickened but also intrigued."

Ichiro: "Ow."

...Galbinus is going to get slapped with associating with the equivalent of third world child soldiers now too given even the Legionnaires are a little bit uneasy around the mech body based AI.

You're not technically wrong.

Beuracrats keep records.

It's too late.
Signed in Triplicate even. I remember the faction heads commiserate over it.

Though seriously, with all the weird shit going on, Galbanius is probably going to get a reprimand at worst. There's pretty clearly more than one alien race at work here.

"We have receipts."

I'm eagerly looking forward to your Wreckers expies, @Basarin

Preferably not their Last Stand.

That will be explored a bit, but it's less that and more looking at a weird uncanny valley sort of deal. The fact Ichiro and the Argonauts (which I imagine would be a name for a small indie rock band in some alternate Saturday morning cartoon) exist isn't an issue at all - see how Galbinus and Cavalier went all in to mentor and teach Ichiro like one of their own.

It's how they came about that's weirding them out slightly.

Is it because they're not used to Oracle Matrix adjacent personalities becoming Mekaen-esque or because biological beings make them so easily when they're used to personalities coming online more naturally and spontaneously rather than being developed?

Shard radiology scans come up positive...and in larger numbers than the Belligerent's manifests require.
Thinking on this, it's been noted that Tyrannaous has gathered more Power/Shards than would be necessary to return to Mekean. We've also only produced relatively few shards are overall, and I doubt that the Enclave has been overproducing either.

So it's Probably mostly Free Brother shards they're detecting made using stolen energy resources.

Just got to make to clear that mankind more a near peer than on first glance given other tech and that Galbinus actually helped his homeworld by trading for powerful tech they can use like reconfiguration and such.

So, I for one am hoping that Devin and Galbinus get a chance to prepare a maliciously compliant welcoming committee for our new friends when they arrive.

Doing the equivalent of the TMU 2.0 for Percivax would be something alright, just to show we mean business. Probably the best way to do so is Faedium Shards since we're the only ones who can even put those out so they can't just try to downlift us. Doubly so when they find out about the Regent being a peer power ambassador given the C Crystals as well.

And I'm definitely looking forward to more world building between the factions, Basarin! Lore expansion is always a treat.

Oh look, it's the Midseason Tempo Increase for our Giant Robotic Friends! I'm getting vibes like from TF Animated or Prime when Ultra Magnus and or his subordinates show up and have words with the local Autobot contingent. I fully expect the rank and file will be a bit happy to have reinforcements, while the leaders are concerned about the political implications, that's how this tends to go, to the best of my recollection.

Either way, Events are going to happen with the arrival of other's from Makaen. Hopefully the Union has some good diplomats that can deal with them.
