Any name thats female since the other story I read that got a dungeon had a male one.
Sounds like a vote for Scáthach to me!
something like Phil. He created some heroes. Sure, they fell, but they were at least known.
Do u mean Philoctetes from Disney? I think he was just a fictional character based on Chiron. Though I am not saying that makes the name a bad choice. Or do you mean Phil Coulson marvel character who brought together would be heroes so they could shine? Because the later was the first who I thought of when I read Phil.

Typhon could be a cool name, after the father of monsters from Greek mythology. Echidna could be funny too for a female name. The mother of monsters, plus the MC doesn't know about Noel yet, right? Imagine how confusing that would be.
Both are cool names, fittings, and well know enough, but I don't think Alex would choose such "villainous" names.

Since trainer crawler dungeon won I have 2 suggestions: Trainer Dungeon Red (pokemon reference) or more seriously: Scáthach the name of the woman who trained Irish Hercules.
Trainer Red would be funny, but it's too much of a reference to the Pokemon game.
Scathach could work very well. I'll need to justify it with Alex doing some research because he wouldn't know it from the tope of his head.

I'm of more support of the monster names. Mostly cause giving it a name of a famous mentor that created a great hero(Or many heroes). Gives a weight that a hero of that caliber should be born. Maybe, something like Phil. He created some heroes. Sure, they fell, but they were at least known.

I would probs change my mind if a Great Hero is Born.
That's only in Disney, in the original Greek myth Philoctetes wasn't Hercules's trainer.

Going with other trainer of heroes there is also Chiron who trained many Greek heroes
That one is very nice. A good contender for Scathach.

A good point.

Philoctetes wasn't created by Disney. As usual, they picked a name from the original story, and then change everything about it. He was the one that lit Hercules/Herakles' funeral pyre.

Thank you all. I will keep looking. For now, I'm hesitating between Scatach and Chiron for the heroic trainers' concept. But maybe a being credited with giving life, like Gaia could work too.
Or even instead of a name for a person a name for a place. Eden may be a bit pretentious, and it doesn't fit the aggressive nature of the Dungeon. I'll continue thinking about it.

Edit: I got one that could work. How about Niume? The Lady of the Lake?

Part of me also wants to mention Asterios AKA the Minotaur that was trapped in the Labyrinth. No idea if said Labyrinth had a proper name but feels thematically appropriate.

Could work. But wasn't she just known for holding onto the sword till she gave it to Arthur?

I forgot, does Pokémon exist on your Earth Bet?
Does the name have to carry historical weight from within Earth Bet?
What about Elysium for a name? Probably fits as it's a place for heroes and if I recall right the heroes get to come back to life. Which is both something this Dungeon will train and offers renewal even if you die.

She was also involved in raising Lancelot. She has something going on with Merlin but it varies between version.

Pokemon does not exist on Earth Bet, it does on Earth Aleph but it didn't exist for as long stopping in Gen 2.
Historical weight? Not really. It just has to mean something. If you can be an American indian name to sound really cool and that mean teacher I wouldn't be against it.
Elysium isn't bad at all, perhaps a little too linked to death. But it does sound very nice. Definitively a strong candidate. Thanks.

Well, the dungeon is going to act as a training facility for people of power. (Will they come up with some name other than Parahuman, or just expand it's meaning?) In our country, the places that train people for combat are usually named "Camp FamouosGeneral'sName". Since this is training in extraordinary powers, there is a well-beloved fantasy series that definitely predates Scion's appearance in both authorship and popularity. How about Camp Gandalf, or Camp Galadriel?

"Camp something" is a good idea too. And yes Gandalf and Galadriel are both good options.
Maybe a name for the Dungeon and another for the Core. Or would that be too much?

While I'm here I have another question. Does anyone know any way to create Dungeon maps easily? For free? And ideally that I can just link on the forum without the need of hosting an image separately?

Even more place names I guess another one from Arthurian tales ( or for me scouring through the Fate Wiki) Avalon might be a good name too even have that as the Dungeon name while the Core could still be Nimue go with the whole theme. An honorable mention would be Valhalla but the local Nazis on Earth Bet ruin any Norse names we could give anything.

Well, do you have colorful dice? Cause if you do, just throw them onto a sheet of paper and follow this.

Red=enemies
Yellow=sand
Green=pastures or grasslands
Blue=bodies of water
Grey=stone, buildings, rooms, and other grey coded objects
White=safe zones
Purple=treasure

Learned this from looking at dnd videos. Though if you want something else, sorry. I got nothing.

You know as soon as Uber and Leet find out we can summon a Dungeon that works like an actual RPG Dungeon Classes and all I expect them to be the first ones to show up with full Larping gear.

Well, it has been a while and since they're part of a different Protectorate department after turning themselves in, it's likely Alex would see them again when he gets sent off for those training exercises he worked out with Piggot. Be pretty funny to see them apply but Alex vetoes them from entering.

Hey, @zagan. I was wondering if there will be a reward for a bad ending omake or a bad time(basically, powers go wrong, but it makes people grow. Type thing. Like a hypothetical overload of the powers inside Alex) omake.
