Omake 3: The far futur 2 by Totadileplayz
In a way we should have known what was going to happen. Compendium was simply growing too quickly even for himself.

Later reports would note that they directly warned him about not letting his creatures breed. He had informed us about allowing others to gain a portion of his powers, greed led us to letting the creatures to breed. With that, Compendium became the most powerful cape. Even Scion was a joke compared to him.

Once Scion died thanks to Compendium's Efforts, We were worried what would happen if Compendium's shard went berserk. It never did, the creatures he summoned took care of the threats after the collapse of the entities and the end of the age of heroes.

Compendium was the one to usher in a new age. One where the creatures he summoned were the companions of the heroes only the pure of heart were given one and with them true change happened.Compendium brought a golden age, one much like him himself should never end.

It is my belief for long into the future, we will continue to explore space as the entities who were once akin to gods are no more of a trifle to the one true Hero that protects us all.

[X] Power

As for our Zouwu I think the fast and powerful is in reference to burst power. It's able to like tigers and other cats have a quick burst of speed and strength. I think treating it like an intelligent ambush predator would be best. (However, actual historical descriptions of it speak of it as a strict herbivore.) The one seen in the movie was supposedly owned by an abusive owner so that explains why it looks so gaunt. A healthy one would likely look more vibrant and muscular.

As for the 1k miles, it doesn't necessarily mean it's running that distance it could also include apparition in that calculation.

I'm kinda shocked people are talking about Compendium as Eidolon's successor. I mean, our boy is good, but that good?

The idea is beginning to float that yes Compendium could be a potential successor. But for now, it's doesn't gain much ground because while our power is growing we haven't demonstrated any brute power so far, so any random sniper can take us out. Presumably, Eidolon is running at least one defensive power all the time. Until we get something like that we're more considered a glass canon than anything, a big glass canon with dozen of barrel but still.

and double dice that lets us roll twice for category and then within said category

Just to clarify double dice, allow for two complete rolls so category and entry at the same time. For example, we could roll Pokemon ->Bulbizarre and Final Fantasy->Chocobo and then choose between the two. It's not rolling twice for a category, choosing one, and then rolling twice in the chosen category.

the fact that we're summoning either normal animals or creatures with powers of their own in particular makes us a pretty close to what eidolon's powers are.
the moment we get something in the 600+ category, the PRT will likley classify us as a potential S-Class danger if we ever go villain.

No need for a 600 point roll, we are already classified as a S-Class threat if you go villain.

@zagan do we know what the green potion is?

It's an ether. Our heroes give it to Armsmaster at the end of chapter... 27
I was curious how a magical restorative would interact with Parahuman powers.
Our hero didn't comment on it much simply because he didn't think it would work at all on parahuman. But he describes it to Armsmaster as a way to regain exotic energy. And it was flagged by one of Eidolon standing orders.

Very nice, thank you.

For info, an ether restore 100MP (150 in battle), so it's a drop in the bucket for a shard but it was a noticeable drop. Eidolon won't be at full power tomorrow but after a few doses, he should be able to use a few high-end power that he lost access to.

Powers that allow us to defend ourselves.

Creature Haunting
Displace Damage
Resource Network
Self Modification
Self Transformation
Strength of Many.

In the actual creatures list? there are many additional options and it would take forever to list all of them and there are caveats even if I did. For the same reason i couldn't possibly make a complete summoning list assuming we have all creatures and powers i couldn't do that either.

Just the elixir alone means Eidolon will want to ensure we stay alive, however he'd also know that all capes need to be involved in combat so there shards don't try to kill them.

Here is a synergy we can do right now.

Clockwork Babel Fish
-Reason for employment personal pseudo-healing factor.

If the creature that is healing us is inside ourselves there's no real means for people to even know it's a creature unless they are a thinker even then it requires specific situations for that to matter. Usable with all sorts of templates that confer buffs unto others.

Does nothing against one-shots but any damage we do take will be a lot easier to manage.

A good combo, I'll make a note of it.
Not ideal all the time, because the clockwork variant provides benefit in addition to the healing power. Notably, the heavy hit power that would be unusable.
Still in some situations being able to heal without visibly summoning anything could be very useful. Thanks.

Sorry error in processing.

Mostly because I assume that his robot body comes with some super strength and durability. And because the ability to separate the real fish body from the robot may come in handy in some situations. Also as an intelligent being, he's worth more than an animal of the same size. It's far from the best 200 points creature but it seems fair to me.

Yeah, I should say as i'm effectively just excising things to sort things out mostly focusing on personal buffs and single spells and templates. At the time I asked that I thought Minion was 800 points.

Edit: That Being Said Slime Rancher's slimes are definitely borked in costs.

Could you elaborate?
Even looking just that category alone. We have 5 50 point slimes. To Compare the Gold Slime to.

First The Pink Slime.

Plort? Used as a general use item in various food, and cleaning products. Used in almost all slime science.

Largo? Yes

Special Notes: Tower of slimes.

Puddle Slime

Plort? Used for expensive water (actually still more useful then the gold plorts)

Largo? No

Special Notes: Actually worse to maintain then a gold slime. Plort's more useful but it's only able to live on fresh water. Definite marks for being less useful then the gold slime.

Honey Slime

Plort? Sugar and attracts slimes for natural largos.

Largo? Yes

Special Notes: Can help corral other slimes.

Phosphor Slime

Plorts? Natural Incredibly Long Lasting Light Source, glowing hair gel

Largo? Yes

Special Notes: Glows but dissappears in light.

Tabby Slime

Plorts? Performance Enhancing Drugs

Largo? Yes

Special Notes: Jump Height, actually kills creatures in game, can steal

For Reference

Gold Slime

Plorts? Valueless Jewelry

Largo? No

Special Notes: Fast

Phosphor and Puddle Make Sense as 50 point slimes, but the other 3 50 point slimes are at least roughly equivalent to the gold slime in terms of use. This is just the first aspect. However, I can very easily bring about the other slimes and remark on some being more expensive then they are actually worth.
