Medical Forensic? Investigations techniques? Interrogation techniques? Diplomacy?
All the above and more. But for this very first test? It'd be something while useful, something more obvious to see and measure, something the trooper in question is on record for not personally being shit very good at. Something they'd have him/her perform the day/hour before stumbling thru. Then perform again to watch him succeed.
Perhaps let the Trooper in question choose to get to learn something they are bad at and wanna learn to be good at as an incentive?
Like art? Paint a masterpiece?
Or perhaps a Trooper that got marked down for shitty negotiation skills on intense situations? No that be harder to define for a test to prove validity of.

Here's a YouTube vid of how Foundation did it if that helps. Specifically the Cat.

Oh! Victor took out skills like marksmanship from seasoned veterans and whatnot yeah? Make it a victim of Victor! They were good at, skills were stolen, they never quite recovered, the frustration of doing something they know they were excellent at didn't help. So they got reassigned, or quite, or let go. Or whatever.
Miss J's very first students could be the victims of Victor's victims who are interested in getting their skills and normalcy back.
Plus this solves the issue of teaching people who should already be pretty good at a thing to be expert at a thing.
She could teach a class of them if there's still enough interested.
I read once (is it fanon or Canon?) that Victor took a person's ability to breathe. I wonder if how she'd teach that?

[X] I should tell Armsmaster the truth about the Menagerie.
[X] I think it's time to talk to Armsmaster about Grant Summoning

[X] I want to talk with Assault and Battery about converted Villains
[X] I have an appointment with Doctor Yamada.
[X] The first test of Miss J with a trooper has been approved.

I hope that talk with Collin wins out, with the coincidences involving Rex being an actual ripoff Godzilla, Toho bought the rights to his movie just so they could have the real Godzilla kill it, and now Eva from an old anime cult classic, there may be a point people start treating him like Ainz Ool Gown and just humor him so they don't set him off for disagreeing with what his power actually is. I partly thought Uber and Leet getting out of Brockton was them realizing some of his summons are from media, Gen V for Pokémon came out a few months ago in setting and I remember what I think was a canon quote on them being big fans of Earth Aleph imports, they out of all capes would know what Buoy was on sight. There is also this comment he made in the chapter that may push things along, whether we get a chapter about it or not.

"Colin, Theressa, It is with the utmost honor that I present to you EVA-01. A living weapon developed by another humanity specifically to kill beings very much like the Endbringers."

So here's hoping Collin doesn't think we're delusional about our powers like Myrddin is.

"I see. But in that case, couldn't you build replicas of them using local materials? Those would be independent of your power and other people could be given command of them."

I shake my head. "I asked myself the same question. However, my power got a weird quirk that way. If I ever tried to envision building a copy of, let's say my spider drone, from scratch all the knowledge left my head. I couldn't even draw a blueprint."

I detected some disappointment in her voice when she responded. "That's a shame. And what about repairing or modifying robots created by other people?

"I never tried but my knowledge is very specific to my partners. For repair, it would depend on how close they are to my own. For modification, I wouldn't dare make anything more than some very superficial work."

I think the issue was it's locked behind Controlled Reproduction right @zagan? If we do roll on it, would it solve those problems Dragon asked or still be tied down by another power?

This time we can't really call it a partner./It's a plant, and not a sapient one, by itself it's inert./Our new Ivy Whip is a sort of living grappling hook. It can send up to three whips at the same time and anchor itself to any surface./Considering the number of ways that we can fly it probably won't see much use. But it could be fun to try at least once.

Yesss my revenge on all the posters who don't check the wiki links has reached fruition, mwahahahahaha!

To be honest I forgot how Alex's power is affected by power nullification in the story and wanted him to get something that couldn't be affected by them if he was, a real issue with the S9 coming for a visit and still having Hatchetface. On the BS of AT fields, will we get to see Compendium playing with the Siberian anytime soon, with Mantons power being an all or nothing projection landing on the nothing spectrum against the AT field, only minor brute strength is left to defend itself against Alex?

Not marksmanship because I don't think it's theoric enough, while there's a part that involved theory (trajectory, aerodynamic, and so on) I think it must involve a lot of practice too. Practice that can't be had in a classroom.
Perhaps not the first test, I think the PRT would prefer starting with someone that has absolutely no knowledge of a subject.
Otherwise, some people may just say that she didn't tech them just remind them.

For my own peace of mind, I'll say that nobody will ever recognize Alex's creature as coming from fiction unless it's blatantly obvious and predate Scion.
The Sarlacc from star wars would be recognized, the real Godzilla or Mothra, Krypto, The Balrog, things like that.

So here's hoping Collin doesn't think we're delusional about our powers like Myrddin is.
He doesn't it already was the prevailing theory in the PRT/Protectorate that Alex's creature comes from other dimensions.
Alex doesn't like that theory because he knows it's true but in that case, it was hard to avoid. Eva 01 is wearing man-made armor after all. (And maybe there's some English writing somewhere, not sure.)

Yes, it's locked behind controlled reproduction. It wouldn't solve the repairing/modifying other robots though.

Only the power granted by Solar is affected by power nullification.
You wouldn't believe how much I'm looking forward to writing a scene with Alex against a Power nullified (not sure which one, Hatchetface, or Animos perhaps, Are there others?) and him just completely ignoring them.

Sure thing! A final FU to the E88 be great PR. Once proven they can set up an outreach program publicly. Especially those rendered infirm from too much taken.

I Hatchetface and Jack especially. Jack to just come off as an ineffectual jackass is always fun and I like to see HatchetFace find out what happens when you and mess with the Compendium you get the Horn!
I can probably guess why but I was still a little surprised you didn't let Sepentia out.

If you are ok with ocs that make sense...

I would assume that there might be someone at the Fallens rape and trigger farms.

To keep the new triggers and kidnapped parahumans in check, seems like something that you would trigger with there, and I don't really think it would have worked for years with only masters... I mean it could, but ad a suppressor and it makes more sense.

As would geselshaft and cui trigger and indoctrination camps

Edit:
Oh, and there is a guy from ward that puts down an arena/duel field that suppresses powers, can't remember the name.

[X] My partners need some serious training, let's make a day of it.
[X] I need to train myself more. I'm sure that there's some power combo that I haven't explored yet.
[X] The first test of Miss J with a trooper has been approved.

[X] I've been summoned to Director's Piggot office.

[X] Now that Elytra is a Ward it's time to seriously test her power with my partners.

[X] Creature

Cauldron must be creaming themselves now, I really want to see Compendium in a endbringer fight now. I'm a little lost about the timeline, which EB is next again?

[X] Creature
Creature Roll: (1010 points)

Category Roll D50=25 Naruto/One Piece, Entry Roll D101=81
200 Octopus Balloon, 100 Panda Shark, 500 Perfume Yuda
Oh, oh, that's unexpected, particularly after getting Eva. We're really lucky this month.
See spoiler for info on Blades and on Perfume Yuda.

-Cressidus: You become a Driver with Cressidus as your Blade. You gain moderate proficiency in wielding Rockrending Gauntlets as weapons. You can summon and unsummon Cressidus at will.
-Custom Common Blade: You become a Driver with a Custom Common Blade as your Blade. You gain moderate proficiency in wielding its weapon. You can summon and unsummon your common blade at will.
Roll on the Custom Creatures Sheet to determine the specifications of your Blade.
Note: This is random! You do not get to choose any criteria. I will be rolled randomly if/when that entry wins.
-Perfume Yuda: You gain the ship Perfume Yuda and two Yuda sea snakes able to draw it.
You also gain the skill to navigate using such a ship.
Note: No, the Yuda cannot teach you Haki.

While the blade seems nice, gonna wait for other sounding off on this one before I vote for amy of them.

[X] Reject everything and keep points.

I'll just change my vote if there are good enough arguments for any of them.

[X] 600 Cressidus
[X] 500 Custom Common Blade

Yeah I can't decide so I'll put both on there for now sadly I don't see us using any of the One Piece creatures we rolled here the Yuda is cool but super awkward to use in this setting and the other 2 I can't see myself putting in the extra points to grab them.

While the ship pulled by snakes would be hilarious, I can't see it being of much use in this setting. Kind of like that ivy whip we just got. And why wouldn't we want a specific, special rare blade as opposed to a random common one? No, really, I know very little nothing about that setting. Is Cressidus a worse than random choice?

Dude just click the link if you don't know the value of these choices.

Not worse no. But I really want a custom creation. And at 500 it can't be worse than a known Blade.
As for the ship? Why not. I am sure we can detach the snakes and use them independently. Those things are so powerful and deadly that their natural habitat is the Calm Belt, home of the Sea Kings, and the other Sea Kings instinctively leave them alone as a survival trait.
Plus prestige with the Ship. It'll be useful when we ever get the power to go to other worlds.

@zagan Could Alex and the Blade become Flesh Eaters?
