I disagree with the sergeant on the matter of taking time, it's fine to take your time investigating and such before the fight, but once the fight is on, you want the opponent on their backfoot. Shadow Stalker would have won if her aim was better or if she decided to shoot again immediately. If she had waited, Zapp (Their name is ZAP) would have zapped her anyway and that would have been bad news. If she knew this based on there name, then the best plan was exactly what she did, shoot first.

The Lesson there is to prepare for things to go wrong and to make plans to deal with explicit weaknesses, such as lightning. Or even accept that there will always be someone out there with your kryptonite or just straight up stronger then you.

While Shadow Stalker did ignore him saying they were more then just Projections and their more human qualities, in a world where AI is a thing, where there are social Thinkers that can convince you of anything and tons of crazy people, is it that odd to think the "More then just a projection" thing was just a cape getting attached to their Projections or Tinker creations? Hell, one of them died and came back, she would certainly not think them any less disposable after that. Shadow Stalker might even argue that he should get used to seeing this as his chosen profession is Dangerous and his summons Will be in the frontline. I'm not saying her rudeness or demeanor are good or acceptable but I am saying there is a understandable logic to her actions.

Still a Rude Bitch though

[X] Power

Power Roll: (420 points)
Roll D120=26
100 Relay Summoning, 400 Sheep's Clothing Summoning, 300 Substitute Summoning
Three interesting options, I have my favorite but I'll let you choose.

-Relay Summoning: When you summon a creature you can choose any other being (belonging to you or not) that you can see. The distance that this creature can move is centered on that being instead of centered around you. You can only have one Relayed creature at a time.
-Sheep's Clothing Summoning: When you summon a creature, you may choose to expend a summoning attempt for another creature as well to use this ability. If you do so, the first creature will be summoned in the form of the second creature. It may revert to its real form and back either entirely or partially if desired and is otherwise capable of using its abilities that aren't specifically linked to external anatomy (such as claws or bites) in the false form. Creatures summoned by this ability only count as a single creature.
-Substitute Summoning: You can summon a creature one additional time than normal by expending the ability to summon two other creatures with each at the same cost as the resummoned Creature or a single Creature at a higher price. This power allows you to ignore the normal once per day limit but you still cannot have multiple copies of the same creature summoned at the same time.

Could be funny to have a squirrel do a Godzilla beam...

Also stealthy...

But relay is also good, extends our force projection ability quite a lot

edit

[X] 100 Relay Summoning

going for force projection

Sheep's clothing seems useful but I feel its unnecessary for the moment. Better to save points.

[X] 400 Sheep's Clothing Summoning

First two seem the most useful but this one knocks a higher cost power out of the way so we are less likely to get a roll we can't pick anything in the future. Also given how many creatures we have this really lets us play mind games

Between Substitute and Relay for me both sound really useful.

[X] 100 Relay Summoning

Edit: OK this just sounds too tempting not to pick

I think we'll get the most out this one. Besides, gets rid of another 100 pointer.

you just want everyone to fear the squirrels, as they can at any time open their mouth and FIRE THEIR LAZZZORS!

wich, admittedly, is fairly funny. and usefull, as big creatures now can fit indoors

Yeah we have plenty of small critters and for those that have abilities not relying on form we can get them into tight spaces, or for that matter just make them hard to spot

[X] 100 Relay Summoning

Imagine if this was on a Parahuman with Stranger powers. There is no way their power would function with a giant Tigerdillo on them.

I... don't suppose you could use Sheep's Clothing and Swarm on a creature at the same time.. 🤔

Or is there a rule about using only one power on a creature at a time? I've forgotten...

Good question, I would say that you can combine the two but the Disguise creature en up only in one body among the swarm, the other are normal creatures.

Well, that's me decided then. I admit the Relay Summoning would be a good tactical power, but this time I've got to got for the Powah!
