It should be noted that my plan can fail.
On that note; are you certain that you want to shoot at the Dogmatics before you start yelling at them to fuck off/surrender?
@HeroCooky did designing the migrant fleet ships give us a full fleet, or one of each design?
It got you 0.2 Progress to building one.

Is there a place with all the keywords we have unlocked so far? Want to see if there any oddball combinations that may end up being helpful (and to test out if possible how order works from the third place onwards).

My worry is, if we leave the Exterminatus weapons intact and they have some way to secure their weapons against psychic manipulation, then we've thrown away a chance to actually stop them.

Like, that they'll be ready, because that seems to me in one sense a sensible thing to do? Destroy their ability to commit genocide?

Like, if you're actually guaranteeing that informing them of critical information rather than destroying their capacity to commit genocide won't lead to them reinforcing the Exterminatus-armed ships or something, you can... tell us that? @HeroCooky .

But if I was planning a genocide, I would absolutely have methods to try to prevent someone from stopping or targeting the ships in question... methods that would be more effective if I knew that my enemy knew about it.

So I feel like... am I missing something about how attempted genocide works?

Well from the sounds of it, we either prioritize destroying their exterminatus warheads, or we prioritize getting them to fuck off/surrender without a fight. Doesn't look like we can do both, though if we get them to surrender we can get those warheads for ourselves. Y'know, just in case we need to blow a planet up.

To clarify here, the logic is pretty straightforward. One thing you can do against hostage takers is remove their ability to actually carry out their threats. This can lead to them panicking... or it can lead to them no longer having leverage and thus being easier to get to fuck off.

I don't want them to have leverage, fundamentally. If they surrender or fuck off, that's good, but I don't know why we should base the survival of several hundred billion people on the goodwill of a bunch of people planning genocide, @HeroCooky . Rather than getting rid of their ability to commit genocide and THEN trying to get them to surrender when they no longer have "dying to successfully commit genocide" as an option?

But from your (talking to the QM) leading question, it seems as if you specifically think I'm entirely incorrect in my thinking.

Fine there, I changed my entire vote to go against the logic of hostage negotiations because the QM very clearly has a very different idea of how these things work.

I can give you a 100% guarantee that, even if you started telling them that you know which ships have the Exterminatus Ordnance on-board, they will not be able to stop the plan you have in motion.

...I'm admittedly shocked. They really don't have Alpha Psykers/etc whose entire job is to guard the Exterminatus ships from being targeted by the enemy??

Like, a part of me was sure they'd just shrug and no-sell The Sun, but wanted to try it anyway.

They might not have enough Alpha Psykers that they are willing to send one on a suicide mission(as they might get past our fleet on the way in but odds are that it will be in back before they can make it out.

Yes, because you are dealing with Dogmatics. Exploding their ships first before sending voxxes would have had the then-acting Fleet Leader go: "block communications, all ahead full, red-line engines!"

If they had one Alpha Psyker that is stable enough to be used by a Dogmatic Faction you would be looking at me screaming at you to leave the Duchy alone the second anyone raised the idea to infiltrate Voxx Primus. Those fuckers 'splode planets as walking talking Exterminatus-grade Wizards.

Not Alpha then, sorry, but I thought their big thing was having really good Psykers and PsyTech and so on.

Like, I'm pretty sure WE would be wary of someone using weird psychic shit to blow up a literally irreplaceable artifact? Which presumably any sort of Exterminatus System kinda is?

Do...do we have an Alpha Psyker? Cause if we somehow got one I am suddenly in favour of the "Hey let's transfer psyker potential" song. Those psykers are fairly insane on the membrane

Yes, but you have yet to hit the wider Duchy with a The Sun to their faces, so they'll have no idea what that is/was. Most of their defensive new tech is in the Phalanx Doctrine, and you have enough stealth/surpise to hit them with a baker's dozen The Suns before even a paranoid fleet leader would activate that.

The ships the weapons were put on act as any other recorded Lancer/Dauntkess should, with no deviance from either mechanical or psyhic baseline.

(Also, most exterminatus weapons are either hyper-specific techno-wonders, a shit-load of bombs/viruses, or a really big bomb. They have the latter).

The best you had was a Gamma.

With that, I am taking 30 to help my grandma in her garden.

...I know you're gone, but wouldn't that mean that blowing up the ship would blow up, uh, more than the ship?

I was hoping for Akira.

Tbh, I was worrying that merely turning on the null net would start disrupting psy powers. Or worse, it just passively fixzling put.
