It would be nice if we could colonize Turriamnish's Hope this turn if we're going to colonize. I imagine that would unlock Grace of the Light in Sub-Sector Irridanus?

Yep, that's exactly it. Meaning that you, effectively, get four Actions per turn. 1 on Trade, 1+1 on Dev, and 1 for other stuff. Or five Actions if 1 is Trade, and 2+2 on Dev.

Oh. OH! Free actions!

Let's get the maximum use out of these trade options that we can.

Honestly I also think that Sermons to the Family might well be even more powerful if we wait until we have a good relationship with them AND All-V, because, like, if these fuckers like some Prosperity Gospel, we'll give them Prosperity Gospel. :p

does trade give the discount on the next action spend developing infra (as the action seems to imply) or on the next turn of actions spend on infra (as the example seems to imply)?

I think we should Get it after using the 2nd Jolley cooperation because the potential for more trade will buy us their support for the missionaries.

if we do sermon to familes this turn we should lock in doing the of the revolution and the rising action next turn since sermon and families will def get the revoluntaries going within the three familes
[] [Faith] Of The Revolution And The Rising
We are only as strong as those willing to rise with us against the darkness of the universe, and with every candle lit, we must ensure that it never goes out within the awning abyss of the cruelties leveled against every sapient willing to fight for what is right, what is just, and what must be done to light the way to a brighter future.
(Gain: Nail down the Subversion and Revolutionary Doctrine aspects of the Cult of the Star Child.)

ostile Worlds (-1 Void Industry): Qulach's Forge - Node 17c (Acidic Atmosphere)
Deathworlds (-1 to All): Qulach's Forge - Qulach's Forge (Fallout, Glass, Industrial Ruins, and Chemicals))
Yeah, doesn't look like we'll be settling this place anytime soon
It also seems to have "sprouted" an additional ring? Huh, that ring is glowing. Okay, who poked the Xeno Structure?
OH FUCK! The Xenos hula hoops are doing a thing!!!

[] [Faith] Sermons To The Families
Though the Ashan Families are no fan of strangers walking into their home and preaching about strange deities, they are a fan of allowing honored guests to preach an interpretation of a sanctioned faith (even if it a weird interpretation) in exchange for money. Though they will still check if said guests are preaching Chaos. Just to be sure.
(Gain: The Ashan allow your priests to preach in their territories.)
I think we should do Sermons only after we nail down the Revolutionary aspects. For obvious reasons.

Wait, are you saying that we could essentially get 4 Development actions if we do 1 action on Trade?

Soo...
Should we look at what the structure is doing?
It seems like "let sleeping dogs lie" approach isn't working and its doing something.
No, we shouldn't poke it at least until we improve our understanding of Psytech. But we should do an action to maneuver our forces so we can get a fleet in place. Time for the Leo-Primus to maybe get some work in on whatever bullshit comes out.

If getting choirs is dependent on population, then we'll need more population centers. Plus, the webway gate is starting to make me suspicious, and if it's not done now, we may never get around to it.

Increasing population effectively is a matter of actual generations, and any new colonies are more likely to be drops in the bucket at this point when we have higher priorities, such as actually getting All-V.

The Turn when Dev is done. Will clarify.
@HeroCooky how many Choirs do we get per turn now? Since we have ballooned both in size and population.
About 4~7 Choirs per Turn.
Wait, are you saying that we could essentially get 4 Development actions if we do 1 action on Trade?
Essentially, as long as you spend 2 on Development after taking that Action.

That is a non-action. Just pencil in that a fleet will be stationed there, and if something pops out, it will be ready to defend.

But yeah, if it's 4-7, we currently have -3, so I think we honestly could wait literally just one or two turns to start colonizing. I'm pretty sure if the Asharn's go, "I'll just colonize this abandoned system where everything has to pass through your control and you can see it coming" we'll just say, "No, that's not happening."

Also we need to keep building up our military. Our new potential friend are going to be facing a new major Chaos offensive soon. Must help friend.
In yet more, far-flung, news, the Mashan Temple Authority has, for some reason, sent a small ship into Valhidem, which then chucked a crate at the local (utterly anemic and mostly mining vessels in nature) SDF, which contained several data repositories regarding their language, diplomatic customs, and instruction manuals on how to avoid Chaos Corruption, before said ship left before contact could be made. The crate contained the reason: the vessel was a scout that had merely noticed that Valhidem was part of our nation due to our somewhat unique design aesthetics instead of being part of an effort to reach us, and decided to gift us the cache to facilitate diplomacy between our peoples better whenever we felt ready to do so again. However, they warned us not to do so in the near future, as a significant Chaos Offensive was divined to come against them. How nice of them!
And from a glance at sub-sector 621 it seems like Slaanesh Chaos gits are consolidating power in the sector and will likely manage to force other Chaos forces into line to push an offensive at the Mashan.

Despite what people may think, selling a shit-load of materials at discount prices will make you more money than trying to sell them at the standard mark-ups. However, there is only so many materials to sell until the industries lack behind order to restock and supply the same.
(Gain: 50% Discount on your next [Develop] Actions taken in this Turn. (Discount can be used in the same Turn as it is bought.) Ashan Families like you more.)
With the change, "(Discount can be used in the same Turn as it is bought.)" is superfluous. As is the "next" in "your next [Develop] Actions"

Or five Actions if 1 is Trade, and 2+2 on Dev.

...that's fucking great, we'll be able to get back to all-5 in no time if we use this right.

This gets us back to Civ V which is a good thing both for getting towards the All-V and getting set up and also makes sure our fleet shit is figured out now.

...I'm a bit leery about using one of the Economic Cooperation actions without fully committing to a full-develpment turn for actual bonus actions in development-using just one action on development really only gains us a relationship bonus with the Families.

If we wanna nail down the fleet reorganization this turn (which is reasonable) I think we should take some Faith or Research actions alongside it, or just a single development action.

If we make maximum use of our 3 economic cooperation actions we'll get 3 full 'free' levels of development over 3 turns by doing 4 dev actions each time. Which I'm sure you'll agree is huge.

I'm still not sure how this even works. Like it says NEXT but also Actions, I assumed that each bonus proc'd only once?
