Question is how far to push up? I think going at least as far as Kriegar/Gathin to bring the salients close together. Not sure if it makes sense to go stomp out whatever's happening in Sagat or not. Or try to take the industrial world.

I Really do not want Chaos seizing the core worlds if we can stop them. I don't even want to necessary seize them right now, I just don't want them to keep them.

Problem is, I don't think we can stop them at this point. I think we should close the line with Gathin, Kriegar and Brigarch and then plan a major offensive into the Core worlds.

  • [X] "Commit To The Push."
-[X] Leave anything over Medium Damage behind, add the Dauntless and the two Falchions to the table. Try to keep them out of danger if we can, but don't be afraid to ante them up to save lives.
    [X] "Lick Their Wounds."
    [X] "Commit To The Push."
-[X] Replace anything with Medium or greater damage with the captured Imperial ships, starting from the Dauntless and working down, ideally, it won't come to a proper fight, but having a few extra guns and torpedoes wouldn't hurt
    [X] "Commit To The Push."
    -[X] Falchion-class Frigate (1x)
    -[X] Cobra-class Destroyer (2x)

Okay, so. The update from Neon doing the Nation Collapse Tango is going to take me a bit more time than usual. However, instead of having you wait for a full day without an Update, or something to vote on (and also so I can technically claim my daily streak is uninterrupted by technicality), I have decided to give you something else to vote on:
Heavy Cruiser (and up) Names!

Specifically, if you wish to have a Informational Threadmark where every Heavy Cruiser (and up) has their name recorded, or not. And if they are recorded, then you get to decide upon their names!

Please Hold As A Stellar Nation Collapses:
(6-Hour Moratorium)
[] No Heavy Cruiser Name Info-Threadmark
[] Heavy Cruiser Names For The Writing Block!
-[] (Write-In 3x Proof of our New Path names. Write-In 1x Leo-Primus Heavy Cruiser name.)

Spiced Chocolate - Genetically engineered chocolate beans that produce spiced chocolate significantly improve morale and caloric availability for your people once grown industrially while massively boosting diplomatic or subversive actions against fellow human planets and organizations.
I just realised that people who surrendered to us were probably given hot choco.
And I am very happy about it

I probably shouldn't feel smug about the Hit our medical industry specifically is going to take from saving all these planets from chaos, But I can't help but feel kinda smug. We couldn't just take the trait that paired well with our imminent situation, Need for rapid growth and our Civ industry trait could we?

Oh well, Time to spend like 6 turns pumping actions that could have gone anywhere else into Medical industry.

Couple of key questions that can affect how we plan out the next couple of turns.

1. How far can we send our fleet? Our ground forces? The furthest Chaos infested planets is 3 jumps away. Can we properly support troops all the way over to stomp the cults down?

2. Can we use our troop transports the same turn we comission them? I remember that we can use destroyers and frigates on the same turn that they're made at increased risk to damage. If we can't? There's no way we can cover all the planets with just a few troop transports.

3. The fleet over Valhidem. What is their allegiance to now? Chaos? Imperial? Pirates? That can severly affect whether not not we can spread out our navy to put out the bushfires or force us to keep them together to wipe out the stack.

For a brief moment I was like Neon doesn't look bad. Look at all the purple before I realized what purple meant lol. I legit thought yall were calling their core worlds getting sieged a collapse...now I see what you mean

So just tossing out there, if we can pry loose an AP for it now might be a good time to see about cathedrals, since our anti-chaos stuff only extends to people who believe. Might help with converting worlds as we advance into post Neon territory

One thing I'm most concerned about that proto-forge world that Neon was trying to build up becoming a Hellforge, because the Dark Mechanicum has way less rules and standards, meaning they can do whatever the fuck they want and have it done quicker thanks to warp fuckery.

If we aren't taking it soon, we should at least send some forces to disrupt their progress.

I was expecting Neon to hold out for at least one more turn. With them collapsing this fast we'll have to rush to keep every world we can from falling to chaos.

The Gathin fleet might defect to us (or the Lamenters) the same way the Quintura fleet did which is something good I suppose.

Shouldn't the first Leo class Heavy Cruiser just be Leo?
