I'm hoping the automation paradigm shift will also accelerate getting our full sized Knights online.

I almost suggested not doing the automation research - but every time we've done automation before we've been shocked at how much it's helped. Definitely happy to keep the automation.

It does, it's getting that AP. We'll now have standard issue Force Staves and Psychic Hoods for our Psykers, which is pretty crazy honestly.

I wonder how the Improved level stuff is? Given how they're pretty damn complicated topics, does that mean we're actually surpassing the Imperium's Good Shit in this field? Or just matching it but mass producing?
We can always spend another chunk of ap next turn on research, too.

A part of me just wants to do another round of tech after this - we can actually grab those bigger researches now, like just knocking out the bigger knights or the psychic hoods in a single turn if we wanted. Though it does seem like New Dawn is rolling on it too, which is cool. I wonder what happens if we just blitz the tech tree.

I'd love to experiment with new symphonies, but realistically it's going to be hard to beat the current one. We might go for a war symphony or an anti-chaos symphony eventually, but not yet.

and of course its a damn WARLORD Class titan. Third biggest one and about 3 sizes up from the Questoris ones.... Just fuck. Okay what do we have that can help deal with that? we have the Paladin, Errant, and Gallant Knights we can make and produce but what else? Do we need write-in there and make our own Anti-Titan tank destroyers? or rely on Choirs and focus on more Staves and hoods so the Lamenter Librarians and choirs to deal with that one?
This is what hippity hoppity is for. Do that, get some more STCs, unlock them, profit. With stuff like titans. Herocooky has an stc table, I want to roll on it more. But we probably need to unlock heavy ind X and med X to get the number of choirs we need for it.

Look at it positively:
If we can wrestle that thing down...
.... you are crazy.... and I'm in.

pin it down and have Lamenter Librarians do that over months. just need to dig a big hole for it to fall down.

Its worth a shot but requires us to have 100 choirs and we have about 65 choirs if we use the free ones and the ones on Glint of Genius. need about 35 more to start it. I hope we can do this before that crusade comes through but who knows? we might need just to do some quick terraforms to make more world and get more population.....

wait. or we could start on contacts with Watchtower Confederacy and Lords of Eternity and ask if they need help training their pyskers and form choirs. Sure we might only get them via absorbing them or the like but worth a shot. and we don't know how the Watchtower treats their pyskers, just saying we'll take them off their hands might be enough to grab some.

[X] Plan: Technology is about to go crazy!

While I'm worried we should really go all in on researching every available Necron Green Ship technology now while we have the (time-limited) chance (their terrible rolls will not last forever after all), at least we are starting to chip away at it.

Actually, did we end up reverse engineering or studying the Duchy's non-Warp-based FTL drives yet? If we can link them to the Nercon Green Ships phenomena, then we might be able to make even better versions than the Duchy has, and to have an alternative to the Warp for interstellar travel on practical timescales seems a beyond vital capability for 40k (especially when longer range Warp travel and communicate is so comparatively limited for us in Imperium Nihilus without the Emperor's Light - perhaps the Star Child could be one day used in a similar role?).

I wonder if establishing the Lamenter's Librarian tradition will be affected by how group-based our Psychic practises are? Presumably, the smaller pool of Astartes means at least some individual use of power will be necessary.

Oh shit I didn't even notice this at all.... or rather it only just dropped now.... Was this acutally planned or just because I asked and it these weren't dropped earlier?

They had been intended to be added earlier:

Ye, forgot to add those apparently? Are online now.

Worst case scenario we have 8 turns of them being completely lost(this is back to back nat 20s. We probably will go on a research spree before then...probably. Especially as we now have a frankly crazy amount of action(This shit is nuts)

Oh my god, this entire time we could have worked on them? urghhhhh alright given how much reserach we can do in a turn I think we can do another three main action research turn and use the actions gained via Symphony to do other stuff.

And yah depends on how long we need the Necron ships in order to research those thing but if its just the first stage we should be able to grab everything before the Necrons come to collect. I honestly would say to do one more tech turn just to get it all done and over with.

I hope that the vision we got was shared with the Lamenters so that the Lamenters will know to be prepared to preposition themselves near the Shipwrights to intervene if and when Chaos invasion starts so that they can stymie them while the Federation's response gears up.

Pkay i just caught up. I love the fact we FINALLY sorta adopted the moth babies.
The best part is their EXTREME comparability to chocolate. I can image this was their inital reaction:

Imagine sharing all the choclate recipes we know

Also, I can't NOT compare the mothlings to the loot bugs in Lethal Company. Both are terribly memeable and adorable.

we shall soon see if they have the loot gremlin mentality as well, though I think the Yeeni have that covered. They are eastern inspired and have Lightsaber Naginatas. We did agree to leave them alone considering the implication of uplifting a bronze/iron age civilization I think we have another 5 or 6 turns until they are done adjusting and getting used to the idea of the.... bigness of space.

@HeroCooky what's the vibe of
Progress/Community/Family/Growth/Unity/Song ? Hoping for a Song that benefits Development.

Also, Paths/The Void/Perception/Prophecy/Song. Here hoping for a Song that helps Navigation

I think it's in the next couple turns actually. I could be wrong.

@HeroCooky we were planning to consecrate Mothome in the next couple turns as the last world of the Irridanus sub-sector to be consecrated (consecrated subsector hype!) - is that a bad idea re the Mothomes? How are they doing, anyways?

I hope the Mashan have a at least somewhat positive view of us now.

Lets unlock the Grand cruisers next turn as getting those ready in time for the Chaos invasion takes three turns(one for void industry, one to design them and one to build them) as all other preparations can be done in a turn.

I think we've got more than enough development songs and even an entire symphony, maybe we could stack up anti-Chaos songs like Paths Without Treason, and then create another symphony based around that?

Would definitely be useful for a Chaos invasion.

1. QM I have to ask compared to the standard equipment load out of other chapters how does our Lamenters having Power Swords as standard Issue and once we get Librarians using our melodies and songs along with having Force Swords as Standard issue stack up? like how much does it make them a menace and threat?
2. what would be the ranking for Beta and Alpha on those scales?
1. Imagine a world where militaries, at best, make use of singular artillery pieces. And then some fucker comes along with an integrated artillery park. That's the sword situation with the Lamenters and other Space Marines.
2. Don't know, you can look that up on the wiki's.

Less "Mass-produced" and more "expected of every Hymnal to create before they go into active duty."

They are pretty much adjusted by now. Everyone who is currently alive only knows the world with a Federation and wider galaxy after all.

[] [Psykana] Change Your Symphony (Choose Symphony)
Let Another Symphony Reverbate Through The Galaxy.
(Gain: Changed Symphony)
Does this mean we are only allowed one active Symphony at one time and changing the active one takes an action?

[] [Military] Design New Voidship Classes - [Available: Destroyer (1 DP), Frigate (2 DP), Light Cruiser/Freighter (4 DP), Heavy Cruiser/Freighter (8 DP), Temple Ship (25 DP)] - [20 DP]
how many points are needed to design a Grand cruiser?
