ALRIGHTY! The S.T.C. has WON!

I now need y'all to roll me some dice! One 1d100 per Development Category per person, that means no more than ONE Dice Per Person, with the Category being rolled for stated beforehand.

The highest roll, and its Category, gains the STC Fragment, after which I need someone to roll me a 1d10 for the possible shinies you can get, with each number corresponding to a different shiny!

May the dice be in your favor.

praise be to the STAR CHILD/DEUS EX MACHINA/DEUS EST MACHINA

Sorry if a was a Bothers in future I won't start morality talks about what is right and what is wrong.I apoligise
I mean we argue about morality here all the time. It just didn't seem like a productive avenue at the moment. You're free to argue for more medical infastructure or propose write-ins that will address the issue. That'll be a more productive argument.

@HeroCooky What about mutants from vox primus I mean would they really join the federation if they have to give up ever Having children? And second could we maybe do an action to give them Better rights and allow them to have children
They are already part of the Federation, just waiting around to get off the planet. If they were Mutants on any other world where you rocked up to, a lot of them would actually take the deal of "no biological kids" in exchange for "not getting brutally murdered for existing and having a chance at an actually good life" in the second they believe you are genuine.

And you can alter your approach, but that would be...unwise from a religious and social viewpoint. The sterilization of Mutants is seen as either "A Hand Of Salvation" or "A Necessary Evil For The Good Of All" for many Glimmerlings. In a setting where Evil Gods exist, and they directly fuck with someone's genes to better corrupt them in the long run, allowing Mutation to be inherited can be argued to be an evil act in itself (within the universe). You can read more on how I handle Mutation in the Quest Lore here. IRL this is absolutely fucked.

But it is not like they are forbidden to have children, they can still adopt or have one decanted (or clone one from their genes with a partner/s after having them cleaned, once you have the Medical Service Dev Lvl X for that).
ascinating. @HeroCooky if you don't mind, I'd love to know where the loot tables are you were rolling against.
Made them myself. One was (Thule But Horny - Literally) aka Minor Military Bioaugmetics.

Thule 1: "These horns allow me to better integrate with the Machine Spirit of my fighter due to the embedded neuroelectronic-interliked lattices layered over my brain."
Thule 2: "They also make for great handlebars." *Waggles Eyebrows*
Thule 1: *Punches Thule 2*
Thule 2, Muffled: "Worth it!"

Question is how are we gonna do it. Like, are we gonna go "non-Warp deities are fine as long as they swear allegiance to the Star-Child"?
I don't know. Genuinely could be one point to the next level or could get us up several levels. The Chik-an is easier to predict and even that's hard to say.

Allegiance is the end goal I suppose. Other goals could include "Swear enmity against Chaos and a Compact with the Star Child". We just don't know what the hell is going on. This is one of those "StarChild please help us" moments
We, very maybe, could start a Pantheon and incorporate them into our religion, though the Star Child would definitely have to write off on that. If the Federation knows anything, it's strength in numbers and working together for the greater good.

The greater good being, of course, to Fuck Chaos™, and not in the Thule way.
Saying that every non-Chaos Warp entity needs to swear allegiance to the Star Child will just lead to unnecessary wars and fighting against those that we don't need to fight when Chaos is our real enemy.

Seriously. Not everything has to be under our or the Star Child's control.

Deciding that everything has to submit to the Star Child will just lead to us going to war against the Mashan (the rock people) for example or the Eldar or whoever else has legitimate religions with actual Gods/Warp spirits.

Because remember that the Glimmering Federation *is* a theocracy.

Well, I don't think the Glimmerling religion is outright monotheistic. The Droman Creed says that the Star Child is the only child of the Emperor and Omnissiah, but it doesn't say "there are no other gods beside the Five" or anything like that. If the religion is henotheistic, then you could probably fudge things so that as long as a god isn't aligned with Chaos then worship of that god is acceptable but not encouraged. Maybe something like "all peoples who can do so will see the Star Child's light as and when they are capable of it, and before that time we have no quarrel with their gods so long as their worship does not lead down the path of Ruin."

The best way to thread the needle is the Persian model of conquest. IE you can worship your god(if they are not Chaos) and that's fine by us but we also encourage that you worship our god. As for the Star Child's compact of warp spirits and gods...that's for them to decide. The Divine Law is absolute and all that.

Edit: Or the Dwendalian empire model of "Here are a list of pre-approved gods you can worship because of Chaos reasons/social instability reasons"

027.M43 - With Vigorous Debate
Philosophical differences were dealt with differently within societies, as vast and varied as those whose leading members were entirely of different species.

Yet, even for those of the same species, the cultures you were brought up in could drastically change how such differences are handled.

In the Imperium, they ended with one side purged, and often for good reason. Imperial good reason, mind, but reason all the same.

They were dealt with vigorous debate in the Federation, and often such debates were transmitted across planets, systems, or even into the wider Federation.

And when a topic such as how the Droman Creed would deal with the Eleven Spirits came up, the viewership shot into the stratospheres of each world.

Deal With It.
(6-Hour Moratorium)
[] (Write-In)

AN: Brain fried. Had to do complex shit after posting cringe. Have words. Bleh.

Honestly, the right way to handle this would have been to do the [] [Faith] An Unborn Guide Sought Out (Write-In). Then we might have gotten the option to make them Devas of the Star child or something. That would have been cool. Maybe we can still go for that?

Ultimately, it seems like they're the racial gods of the mothomes, while the Star Child is the human racial god. We won't accept them being anything but subordinate to the star child, but we also want to give them space to grow and help their people in their own way. Maybe we let them become the gods of the Xenos of the federation, subordinate divinities to the Star Child that will fight for the souls of those the Star Child doesn't?

I think we should just make a patheon with the starchild as its main god and other non-chaos warp Beings as its subordinates gods simple and easy

Is the worship of the Starchild mandatory? In the Glimmering federation? @HeroCooky
While belief in the state religion is enforced, non-compliance has mainly social ramifications (dependent on system laws) as long as the non-compliance veers into agnosticism or atheism instead of Heresy or Chaos worship. Blasphemy laws are active for all federation members and are often enforced harshly.
Is there a chance to gain more tries (especially if we ever gain the paths melody), or did we waste the mechanic for good?
Actually do some Songs and I'll start answering again. This is a Core Mechanic, and it is not utilized as such.

Ok. So, the eleven spirits are clearly hostile to Chaos, and lesser than the Star Child. Maybe position them as subordinates to the unborn god?

Again. This choice is greater than just the eleven spirits. Are you going to put us onto a path towards war with the Mashan or the Eldar? Because demanding all other non-Chaos spirits/Gods become subordinate to the Star Child or be subordinate under a pantheon with the Star Child at its head *will* lead to religious wars against non-Chaos religions.

How about- if they live *in* the Federation, then they acknowledge the primacy of the Star Child and offer due respect to the Star Child. But they get to worship their non-Chaos Gods/Spirits as long as said religion passes scrutiny.

For Wayfarers, they have their religions and Gods but they'd better respect the Star Child. They don't have to worship the Star Child but they should respect the fact that the Star Child exists.

[] Plan: The Star Child Model
-[] The galaxy is rife with all manner of faiths despite the Imperiums best efforts to stamp them out. As not all gods and warp spirits are of the Four and as such must be treated as potential allies. To this effect all citizens of the Federation are, as per previous mandates, required to worship the Star Child however they can also worship other gods if they so wish.
-[] As for the other gods their worship will be observed and studied in order to see if there are any Chaos or malicious influences or encourage such things. A registry of faiths will be created with the core tenants of the faith recorded thus that is a record of all faiths in the Federation
-[]A communion will be had with the StarChild sometime in the next 50 years with regards to his opinion on the other warp spirits and gods and for further instruction regarding this matter.

Edit: Also we should just spam songs for the next few turns lol
