10% more damage and 20% better cooling.how does our Doctrine influence the Sagi-S's mad science design aside from just "Save 2 DP per lance?"
Prow Lances work as a 90° forward facing weapons with a low fire-rate, high damage, and are more likely to get fucked if hit. Everything else flows from there.Nice.
So how's it work anyway with Prow Lances? Do they functionally count as one tier "higher" in performance in exchange for being a huge pain in the ass to shoot compared to the actual next step up and being a bigger draw on Cramming?

Which 3 songs?
It is a counter Chaos effect more than it is a combat effect but it can be done. SureI suggest we currently consecrate the world of Phantom in Echish system, especially if we decide to turn our diplomats away from the Dutchy. Just sounds like a good idea to reinforce one of the first lines of defense we have in an approaching conflict.
They're still buying us time. 3 turns so far.Oh and Auto improve relations to the Black Ash Clans because genuinely don't think that the Duchy is ever getting past "Paranoid Hate" unless we beat them in war and tell them to fuck off and because spending actions when we don't gotta? Why do that?
Then it will not be doing intro with the black ash clans this turn or potentially for a few turns. They're still buying us time. 3 turns so far.
I won't vote for any plan that swaps diplomacy away from van Zandt.
I mean, they are banks and given the state the Ashan Families are always in-I'm curious how many actions of wealth that will take @HeroCooky
Oh its straigh tup possibly to just buy them out completely. and it would cost that much... unsure of how much of that would be in terms of diplomacy options as there is that .5 boost to research banked in one of them.
Oh right the logistics rebellions (and wow that really feels like a 40k thing and term to say) and all of that. Would be a weird thing to support a rebellion over but it should-Ok then. How many actions to support an uprising of the endlessly frustrated designers and engineers with materials, weapons, and promises of standardization?
Ah because they still are xenophobic and that wasn't the promised easy logistics promised since they have to deal with stuff for Xenos species needing their own things.... or just speciesism.0. But the second a Kil'drabi walks into their line-of-sight they will stab you with a dull spoon.
3.
pffffft that sounds about right, never gonna spend that many actions compared to doing it the normal way but still funny. and how are the Yeeni more of a fear/problem then the Kil'Drabi? Oh wait.6. And another 9 to prevent them from shooting a Yeeni walking nearby.
.....do want the real answer? or the meme answer?We...we have a whole ass alliance with them. Why are considering doing revolutions in an ally? What are we, the USA?
Oh okay, not too bad, Orks are mostly gone, only seven months of repair needed and the casualties are within limits. Don't know how many of those were ground troops and which were crew losses but acceptable.CLAIDEN'S RIFT CAMPAIGN - STATUS: COMPLETED
ORK PRESENCE - NEGLIBILE
CASUALTIES - ~268.000
EXPECTED REPAIR TIME FOR DAMAGED ASSETS - >7 MONTHS
VERDICT...SUCCESS
Oh shit new faction? I thought they were mostly indepdent or did they form up within the last few decades (turns) and we just didn't know? Either way it is a Confederation so some systems should be able to leave if need be and don't have too much there to unify them, soooooo faction to absorb of we focus on it? They're only together to make a bigger pain in the ass if anything attacks them. And purging Orks is always a good bonding activity. The Claiden's Rift Campaign finished, even with a last sucker-punch by the Orks against the Temple Ship of the Lamenters leading to minor damage to its super-structure, and in its wake, the Glimmering Federation finds itself facing two new polities on its...near its borders. Within the Rift itself, the Watchtower Confederation exists. A collection of worlds loosely bound together by a shared military command without a unified political or economic strategy, the Confederacy focuses instead on internal matters and ensuring that the threats of the galaxy cannot snuff them out like candles in a gale. The polities of their members are varied and many, with a stated 28 systems under their banner in their Sub-Sectors, yet they remain, on the whole, not too disinterested in the Glimmering Federation despite the apparent issues in conducting any sort of trade or diplomacy with each other. After all, you fought against the Orks with them, and for that, you deserve recognition.
Huh, so we went into the next Subsector? okay then, didn't think we did and wow a Three way war raging on with yet another Feudal Faction out and about. So seems like its a stalemate for now andddd what the hell are the Eldar doing here? I'm gonna take a look at the map after this.On the other side of that coin lie the Lords of Eternity, a probably feudal nation within Sub-Sector Unfallen, coming into contact with the Federation when a scout entered the linchpin system of the Sub-Sector and observed three fleets battling each other before retreating after failing to gain any advantage. The Lords of Eternity welcomed the scouts of the Federation into their systems in the spirit of peace and cooperation. Still, they noted that they have long been at war with both a Xenos Species whose appearance and language are all but unknown to them, despite the many centuries of conflict, and the perfidious Eldar that swing and tremble between whose side they are on and lend allegiance toward, if they aren't busy propping up their own puppets in the Sub-Sector. It should be noted here that, without fail, all higher-ups in the Eternity were, to some degree, psychically gifted. Contact with this polity will likely require extensive work for the Celestial Choir to ensure that Claiden's Rift can be safely traversed by the fleets of the Federation with their Songs.
Huh, so the non ork held planets were part of the Watchtower Confederation I don't think we need to worry about them and can start on them later as we focus on the Ashan Families and Shipwright's Grove in the meantime. maybe at least start formal relations.
Holllyy shit, this is just a continuation of the Space Balkans, you cannot tell me otherwise. So besides the middle of the sub-sector being no man's land and ground zero, we have the Lords of Eternity with two clusters here and their main heartland being in the Valiant Sub-Sector An unknown xenos who may have been here in the Sub-Sector or came over from the..... hidden Village? what is up with that name? Oh boy this feels like the first time we found the Ashan Families and the Macabre Sub-sector.
Oh shit, so that's why if you got omakes it would have the Moths joining in? damn they're getting uplifted after this. I think this Sub-sector is going to be the easiest one to do every world into Hallowed World considering how few there are. And wow didn't expect a vision from the Star child for it, I thought the monitor ship we left there would be enough to notice it.A sword descended upon a world.
A head rolled from a corpse.
A Plan finished as it always does.
And a Sphinx of the Federation wakes from a slumber, eyes blinking from their tired rising, a mind slowly waking itself to bring about the information given by a dream...from the Star Child themselves.
The Children of Mothome were in danger of falling to Chaos in full.
It must not happen.
Within the week, the Divine Beast sets out with a fleet and armies in tow, its hand and call breaking past all barriers to this liberation.
Stars would fall upon Mothome.
And they would be filled with soldiers of the Federation ready to die for the immortal souls of Children.
Yup, lets save that for down the line PLEASE. lets at least do some tech and design an Anti-dutchy ship design. We can do Sub-Sector Irridanus and see how it is to complete a sub-sector to all hallowed worlds.[] [Free] Consecrate In Sacred Sand (Write-In World)
Works of generations started today.
(Gain: A Consecrated World.)
Oh shit its free? I guess setting up the monitoring and it being a small conflict gives us that. alright then.[] [Free] A Parent's Obligation (Write-In 1 [One] SBG and no more than 4 [Four] SAGs.)
As seen, as done, as needed, as required. We shall not let a child fall to Chaos while we yet breathe.
(Gain: Mothome Sub-Turn.)
Oh right we just did that.... so what did New Dawn do?
Oh nice so we have Gigachad as habitable worlds to settle. and so many spiders, but good range of biomes.... why is spiders mentioned Three times in the third world?Habitable Worlds: ??? - 1 - Gigachad (Swamp, Boreal Forest, Boreal Swamp, Jungle), ??? - 2 - Gigachad (Small Hills, River Valleys, Atolls), ??? - 3 - Gigachad (Temperate Forests, Spiders, Lush Caves, Spiders, Flowering Savanna, Spiders)
Hostile Worlds (-1 Void Industry): Olutia - Grace of the Labors (Dry Tundra), Magisch - Hexe (Arctic and Island)
Deathworlds (-1 to All): Qulach's Forge - Qulach's Forge (Fallout, Glass, Industrial Ruins, and Chemicals))
Oh boy a new addition to the list. and we really should do the Black Ash Clan and get started so we don't-[] Formal Exchange Of Dipomatic Contacts (Watchtower Confederacy/Lords of Eternity/Black Ash Clan)
Just don't mention Brans. In fact, don't send anyone who knows about that. As for the others, prepare long-term mission kits.
(Gain: Chosen polity opens communications with you on a semi-regular basis.)
Well, shit. we have eight turns for now but we do wait until the last moment for things. I'd say around three turns, four at most before we should do the Formal Excahnge fo Dipomatic contacts and try to sway the Black Ash Clan so that little attempted subversion doesn't blow up it our face.Brans - Branus
Suspected Subversion Time: Halted
Modifiers: Peaceful Change Order. ~80 Years Suspected
SAI Department Note: Abandoning this would risk detection. Switching focus will require greater investiture of resources.
was it really that... Oh no that wasn't losses incurred, They Just Making Eight More Companies Just BECAUSE. holy shit, I guess it makes sense considering the amount of companies you can put on some of their ships. Maybe we should point a few points in this to help speed it up.[] [Chapter] Recuperate and Expand (0/5)
With the most pressing matters dealt with, and aid denied by those in possible need, the Lamenters will not turn their attention to expanding their Chapter to better wage war against the horrors of the galaxy.
(Gain: The Lamenters gain eight Companies.)
Huh, interesting but it makes sense as most insects don't do well in cold climates and it is fitting considering its been more eastern theme.
Oh that would explain it being a hostile world, that shit is bad for a lot of people.Magisch veers a bit too close on the Heavy Metals side in its fauna/flora alongside some minor overpresence of poisonous metals in its crust to be comfortable.
Olutia has Drgns.
I'd rather just spend the action on Black Ash Clan formal exchange of diplomatic contacts, we kinda of stalling them and unless we do a write in on the Dutchy to do SOMETHING. Which I will remind people is something we can do, along with trying to make Iconoclast breakaway states-
Oh the planets were New Dawn's thing this turn okay.Yes.
Planets.
Multi-tasking.
Relation's gonna worsen. Dunno, at least three decades.
You can't stop our Inner Thules Qm or rather the Thules's thirst from escaping.
..... I hate you. I hate you so much. Dragon Rider takes on a whole new meaning and not the one I was making reference to.
You can't stop the Thules, they will attempt it!
that's.... I mean okay? I think that's more geared against Chaos more than anything.I suggest we currently consecrate the world of Phantom in Echish system, especially if we decide to turn our diplomats away from the Dutchy. Just sounds like a good idea to reinforce one of the first lines of defense we have in an approaching conflict.
Why ISC? There is the Horizon Project. It has no downsides for us. Sure less relation gain. but that's okayI figure let's just get the Ashan out of the way. The ISC one only has a 1/3 chance of getting New Dawn and it 'greatly' improves relations. I'm also down for:
