-[] The Shatterprow (1/2)
The counter-part to the Starlance, the Shatterprow does not attempt to project its psychic might ahead of itself but instead focuses on enhancing and hardening the prow of the ship it is attached to, increasing a fearsome ramming attack even further without the need to fire continuously.
(Gain: 5 DP Weapon: Shatterprow. Requires a Choir to operate.) -[] The Starlance (1/2)
Though named after the weapon that annihilated twenty-two Light Cruisers in its first showing against the Federation, the weapon is projected to be far weaker than its namesake, and, far more importantly, will not need a billion sapient souls to fire, nor the weird black stones used as amplifiers. Situated in the prow of a ship and operated by a Choir, the Starlance projects a beam of psychic might against the enemy in a continuous stream at short ranges, with its destructive potential enhanced if a ship accelerates against its targeted foe.
(Gain: 7 DP Weapon: Starlance. Requires a Choir to operate.)
thinking on this, any starship that gains these weapons is basically utterly bullshit. like push and pull, opposites attract, or the fact that these two synergize so well with each other. (one is a ramming attack, so hardening the prow while the star lance fires continuously into the enemy vessel to damage it enough that the prowl can shatter the enemy or inflict a devastating enough wound that it's worth the sacrifice of two choirs) and for some reason I keep thinking that the star lance could be used as the ship charges its foe, allowing for the rams full power to impact the enemy vessel.
basically the two combined would make a terrifying brawler meant to get into the fight and get out, a hit and run tactic favored by orks...yet the psi-might of two choirs would basically allow for continuous damage to be inflicted on the enemy vessel...
Please number your questions and put them at the end of your posts if they are so long, as I won't be able to answer them if they arent.
1. Exchange "Round" for "Bullet" to get the meaning.
2. Not hoover up all all the Psykers that pop up and aren't Chaos Corrupted.
3. You already possess artificial gravity technology.
4. Yes, like any weapon. Just with more oomph due to being an Artillery piece.
5. Tech-ing up and industrializing like all other Black Ash Clan worlds.
6. Because on that world in Gigachad, 80% of its Fauna is spiders.
7. No. To quote myself;
1. OH, okay that does get it across. In that case, I think it works fine! don't know how it makes the round/bullet wasted either their protection, malfunction, or something but seems worth it.
2. really? just just one write in with 'ask the Lamenters about finding aspirants among the Pskyers and allowing them to have them and train them into Librarians?' simple enough.
3. alright.
4. Ah alright then, I would say its worth it because of the chaining effect and it might be effective on the Dutchy's Phalanx.
5. ahhhhh, waited to late, no an easy target but every faction changes and advances for one reason or another. They weren't gonna stay like that forever.
6. Holy shit seriously?! I guess because only Chads would settle a world like that then?
7. I could swore we upgraded past that. oh well.
I am disappointed that boring discounts to infrastructure are winning over spitting Chaos in the eye and starting a slow grinding war against Warhammer 40k itself.
Because each world that is Hallowed? Becomes another bright spot in a terrible galaxy. Another place free of taint of Chaos. Another paragraph in story of the universe that speaks of a kinder world. A small part of the Warp that is no longer theirs to rule.
One world per turn for us, five for galaxy as a whole.
A blessing for everyone, made from a Blessed turn. Imagine the traits that may come from that further in! We could make very Void between stars shine with Star Child's kindness!
Its called having a different viewpoint, differing priority, and different playstyle. Some of us wanted to focus and do more Development or get stuff to help us mechanically or have another ticker so we do something for a while, yes it would have been a risk but worth it to do something. Some of 'vibe' and 'fuck chaos' is fine but sometimes feels we specialize it over everything else. We are also dealing with the Dutchy, Just dealt with an Ork WAAAGH, and in AP hell so maybe that might influence the decision a little.
Yep. It is basically the penultimate level you can reach, with Crowning Traits being awared, alongside not being capable of slipping beneath that level. Fun Fact: if you reach Void XX, you can create your own Bucephalus!
.......okay maybe not NOT worth it depending on how many AP it would take to construct it. Still imagine the faces of other factions when they find out we made this ship and use it as a Carrier. or maybe slapping on some Exterminatus weapons.
wait a minute.... oh right it was and when we went up to 5 HI it unlocked Research.... Wow we really just completely forgot about that and without a way to easily move it up... yah we mostly upped Void Industry, we do need to bite the bullet and raise up Heavy Industry.
I would say a focus on Heavy Industry for Research and trying to upgrade Military INdustry to see what that does and try to get it up enough to get a bonus at 10. Hoping for something good.
There was a boat in space made from reeds that held a child.
There was a boat in space made from reeds that held a child with pure-white skin and ink-black hair without a face.
There was a boat in space made from reeds that held a child with pure-white skin and ink-black hair without a face with an oar in their hands.
There was a boat in space made from reeds that held a child with pure-white skin and ink-black hair without a face with an oar in their hands, and look of concentration surrounding them.
You see, that child was trying to get to their birth in time.
Oh that was the Star Child? okay makes much more sense, I think it was an new encounter we had there for a minute that was very confusing to how there was a boat of reeds in space. And the Star Child is wondering around trying to get back to Terra for their Birth.
"Flip. I knew I should have turned 93° after the mathematical dodecahedron dance into the freeway express merging lane into the Burning Skull Fields in three minutes. But nooo," they sighed, shaking their head as they tried to figure out where they were to plot a course back on track. "I just had to make a pit stop at that Grox Burgers place because they had a deal going on. Haaaa~" Another sigh, mostly self-recriminating.
"Well, at least it tasted good," they spoke, finding some silver lining in the unfortunate stumble along their journey.
Then again...they were currently in realspace, so, perhaps...they could take a moment to look at what was "currently" happening. It was not like they could intervene; that was a "future-me" problem, but seeing what their nations were up to before their birth was always fun.
"Hmmm~, let's see...the blazing Pathfinding Fleet, the war-smithing Calculated Consecration, the hidden Benevolencia Cults, the marching Chainbreaker Tyrants, or the singing Glimmering Federation..." a difficult choice to make, especially as they didn't feel like peering at more than one nation at the moment. Some ship was approaching them in realspace, and the...T'au? T'au Xenos within didn't feel like they would be able to direct them to Terra. Especially within the Warp.
and He got lost because he was peckish and stayed to get some lizard meat. I know the mood and decision of that. Surprised he managed to end up in realspace though after that.
OH SHIT, we have the names and some bits on the other factions that follow the StarChild as well. blazing Pathfinding Fleet feels like a nomadic power that moves around trying to find something or just trying to make things better where it goes, the War-smithing Calculated Consecration is Admech faction or split off from one and seem to focus on making war stuff, might be embroiled in a war right now or something and most likely under Tech lead leader, Benevolencia Cults that are hidden and not officially an power due to hiding amongst everything with a focus on Intrigue and stealth but most likely widespread and then Finally the Marching Chainbreaker Tyrants. Well with a name like that I assume they are the more conquering/fighting focused faction and always at war to expand their borders and break the chains of all humans. All very different play styles and focuses, I do like the adjective used for us is Singing since it IS our psykery that makes us stand out.
Oh shit the Starchild ended up around the Damocles Gulf area by the Tau? and yah they wouldn't be able to tell him at all since they don't use the warp.
Then, they felt a tug from the Glimmering Federation, workings of faith and psykery enacted in their name that caught their attention. Even a cursory glance told them all they needed to see, and they immediately set visions into motion that would see the Sacred Sands spread to billions yet. Even if the eyes of Chaos, especially Featherbrain, snapped to said visions beyond their ability to twist or intercept before snapping unto the source of the knowledge in utter contempt and fury. Seemed to be on par with the Glimmerlings. One action gives billions of succor, while it punishes billions of others with the consequences.
In one breath, the Glimmering Federation was both the Golden and the Black Sheep of their Nations. Stuck in a frustrating position against opponents that tipped between becoming friends and between friends that could become the bitterest of enemies, with its focus pulled and pushed here and there by the design of its people and the eddies of fate. In one hand they wielded the ability to shape their corner of the galaxy much further than any others, in the other they held nothing but a bloody stump, sacrificed upon the altar of need against what yet comes, was happening, and had passed.
If their followers could break through any side with either their Mercy or Ruthlessness, their ascendancy would secure trillions of souls beneath their banner. But Chaos and their Father were not content to sit there and let Hope grow. But the child had faith in their people. They would persevere, grow, learn, and sing a new light unto the galaxy come Warp or Ruin.
Ahhhh so this is how we get the Hallowed Worlds, the Star Child seeing our progress and state of thing making it easy and good for our people that acts as the Star Child sensing the acts of Faith and Psykery we have been doing in their name. I can't tell if the Scared Sands was done in that instance or it was a act done to spread that to the other four factions since us doing that seemed to piss off the ruinous powers more.
Hahaha, damn both the Golden and Black Sheep? I guess the set up and focus on things, with how its stated looks like all neighboring factions can be friends or enemies based our actions... which fair we can of do know that with the amount of diplomacy with the Ashan Families and Shipwright's Grove and to a degree the Dutchy was well since we can reach out to contact the agents we have there and try to do what the QM stated we could by forming breakaway states of Iconoclast. We can turn the Black Ash Clan or Black Cat mercs to our side as well if we just reach out to them. A lot of things that can be done but we want to do other stuff as well and we have done pretty good stuff like the Scared Sands, empowering the sigils and trait of the Federation and then making an afterlife. we've done very well but also having little to show de to us scarifcing time and actions on the altar and being too early, too late, or not there.
Yah the problem is Chaos and others won't wait for us. So I guess a turn or two for specccing against the dutchy with doing the ship design and tech to get it there and then swap to dealing with the the Black Ash Clan, the Shipwright's Grove, and the Ashan Families, maybe the Mashan Temple Authority as well to give us the break we want and not mono-focus on the dutchy again.
A small smile formed as they heard the prayers of the people there, some coming from those who had been grazed by Chaos's claws and were now asking, not for salvation, but for the strength to persevere in the trials to free themselves of its corruption.
There were other prayers, too. Some were more mundane, for good health and fortune; others requested things for others, be it misfortune or aid in their endeavors, with more than a few prayers being uttered by the souls of Xenos. They were...undecided about how they felt about the approach of the Glimmering Federation when it came to the Xenos they knew. It sure felt like they were falling into the trap of being too trusting, but then again, it worked, and worked well, as they peered into the souls of the Kil'drabi, alien as they were to that of their Humanity, and found far more confirmation of the belief that they were Kin than not. "If it's stupid, but it works..." they muttered as the T'au ship hailed them, demanding identification. They ignored them as they asked back if they knew where to get to Terra (you never knew!) before going back to looking at the Glimmering Federation and their Glimmerlings within.
Ah the typical prayers heard in addition to ones asking for strength to preserve as they save themselves from corruption instead of outright asking for it. Is that just the general type or mention of the branch of the Hexean branch?
Oh? we are the only faction of the five under the Star Child to do this with accepting Xenos? based on how the Emperor was when on the Great Crusade it would make sense some of that would linger on but it looks like the Starchild is cautiously nervously accepting of it. Mostly because it acutally worked and got results despite it seemingly like we were falling into the trap of the Federeation before.
Hahaha, true. if it is stupid but it works then it isn't stupid. Seems he does consider the souls of the Kil'drabi as Kin due to their actions and possibly the Yeeni and Irrita soon.
However, they made the conscious choice to not look for their Prophet in that corner of the galaxy, as he was busy having bad poetry read at him by his wife, both their souls acting as the underlying foundation for the Astral Wing that saw Chaos weakened slightly within the nation and held the souls of their followers for when they would be capable of creating an afterlife in truth. Also, romance was icky, so thanks, but no thanks.
However, now that they focused on that area, they could feel the underlying current of Home, Hope, and Compassion flowing through them, mixing them into something else. Hrm...Auntie Slan-slan would be real mad if they poached that aspect and made it their-oopsalreadydid.
Hahaha, Teeln and his wife doing couple things and letting them have private time. I will say that their Souls are acting as the foundation of the Astral Wing holding the souls of the faithful until the Starchild could create one in truth. I didn't know when it was that 'written in the warp that they both loved another one' was shown in an update that it was the underlying foundation of the afterlife. Still that amounting to weakening Chaos Slightly damn its a tall order to be able to set them back further.
Hmmm, so Home. Hope, and Compassion are the currents in there that flow through the two in the afterlife into love. OH, no way. Did the Star Child just-
HAHAHAHA, how does it feel to be hoodwinked and robbed of a domain/aspect? I didn't know the Star Child could do that and I wonder what the cause was? or did the Star child just feel like that and did it?
...oh, there were already prayers in that directi-...why were 17% of them by volume Thules asking for Yeeni SOs? What did they feed those girls?! Should they be concerned? Were the Yeeni secretly memetic? Were the Yeeni using their adorableness for evil? Should...should they tell someone?
Yup, the Star Child stole Love from She/He who Thirsts. And yah turning Home, Hope, and Compassion into Love was what they were doing already, so the Star Child decided to make it official and just steal Love and give the domain to Teeln and his wife. or is it integrated into Star Child and its through Teeln they are hearing them?
Still boy Star child, now understanding or hearing those prayers as it relates to them. Andddd there go our girls again with the Thules asking for Yeeni due to the soft fur. Hahaha, just that worry over not understanding it at all and why the Thules are so pent up and asking or maybe the Xenos was pulling fast one over them.
The T'au were bothering them again, blasting some demands to deactivate any weapons (...did they mean the oar?) and be taken into custody, so they began to gently paddle away instead, racing away with idle strokes faster than the T'au ship could accelerate to, even with engines red-lined.
Back on track, they resolved that problem by ignoring it. "Future Past-Me" has to deal with that; they would just skip trying to find a perfect path to Terra and their birth and just delve into the currents of the Great Ocean and see where that would lead them. It's not like they could get more lost than their brothers Wolf and Horse.
haha, the Tau losing the Reed boat with oars, be ashamed. but in all seriousness this was unexpected and interesting way of doing it to get Hallowed Worlds and having the Star Child appear in this.
I'm assume the Horse is Jaghatai Khan and the wolf being Leman Russ.
They hastily popped back from the Warp and snapped a blessing to their nephews in the Federation before delving back into the currents.
Bad enough that they were the rare few nephews who fully embodied what they were supposed to be, only to be struck by a massive curse; they didn't need to deal with the Black Rage, too. Fixing the first would have to wait until their birth, but the latter could be taken care of.
Oh shit, the Lamenters got a blessing? And they don't have the Black Rage? nice. and yah the Lamenters do embody what the Emperor meant when describing them. and confirmation the luck cure will be fixed when the Star Child is born.
Within the 'Eternal Promise' Chapter Master Gamma looked up from the strategic conference. They had felt like...no, must've been some malfunctioning air-cyclers. He'd tell Alpha to whip the Techmarines into shape for that oversight later. For now, they had to cast their voice and vote. The worlds this side of the Rift had been liberated, and what few people survived were brought back from the brink with aid and succor, even if it took heroes and sacrifice, but the worlds beyond were still suffering under the depredations of the Orks.
Oh wow that was a Melody? well shit, add another to the list, and before anyone asks I slept in toady and was busy. I'll be updating the Song List tomorrow with what was asked yesterday.
Basically. I do think we do some tech and Diplomancy actions, just enough to lay down the foundation to prepare against the Dutchy while focusing on the neighbors. Oh and also the black Ash Clan or the Black Cat mercs. I think hiring them for some minor contracts at first would be a good way with that to build up relations and trust.
Well shit, when you consider how much that still is its insane but a lot more doable then how they normally are, so makes it an easy to fight any on our own worlds but a problem when going on the attack.
Holy shit it scales? well that will be a sight to see when we fully do a Sub-Sector.
This is actually a statistical anomaly. The average Thule only sends a single prayer for Yeeni fluff towards the Star Child over the course of their life. Thule-6969-HRMHVR a.k.a. the most sexually frustrated Thule in the Federation should not have been counted.
I'm very reluctant to not do development or something adjacent to it because we keep putting it off. And no I don't mean Civ dev because that's the only dev we do because of the ISC we have. I think there is some wiggle room to that system and that it can wait for now. I'm not against doing it but well kinda hard right now to go "we can do dev later". We are now on a timer to all X after all and every bit helps
I mean, let's make a write in and see how many actions it takes.
-[] (Diplomacy write in) Bribe the Ashan. The culture of the Ashan families is one of continuous competition and ubiquitous corruption, where everything is for sale, including loyalty. Therefore the Glimmering Federation will buy the leaders of the Ashan Families out, winning leadership over the country with the currency they hold in the highest regard: currency.
I'm curious how many actions of wealth that will take @HeroCooky
Ok then. How many actions to support an uprising of the endlessly frustrated designers and engineers with materials, weapons, and promises of standardization?
Ok then. How many actions to support an uprising of the endlessly frustrated designers and engineers with materials, weapons, and promises of standardization?
I am assuming the Horizon Program does nothing for buying them out then?
Hmm might have to go the long way still because I want to do the Horizon project for the-is the buff from the Horizon Project remaining if we integrate the state we had it with? Because technically the structures would still be there...technically but uhh yeah
Instead of trying to spend heaps of AP to get them to not be cunts, we could try taking the 0 AP revolution,, throw 1 AP military action at it, take them as protectorate (with a warning that they are stupid and only humans may enter this protectorate for now (unless on order the council)) and let the development (to be exact: the education system) do the xenophilic propaganda.
May take a few generations, but they'll stop being idiots.
Trading the high AP cost for time with them being a wart on our federation.

The Claiden's Rift Campaign finished, even with a last sucker-punch by the Orks against the Temple Ship of the Lamenters leading to minor damage to its super-structure, and in its wake, the Glimmering Federation finds itself facing two new polities on its...near its borders. Within the Rift itself, the Watchtower Confederation exists. A collection of worlds loosely bound together by a shared military command without a unified political or economic strategy, the Confederacy focuses instead on internal matters and ensuring that the threats of the galaxy cannot snuff them out like candles in a gale. The polities of their members are varied and many, with a stated 28 systems under their banner in their Sub-Sectors, yet they remain, on the whole, not too disinterested in the Glimmering Federation despite the apparent issues in conducting any sort of trade or diplomacy with each other. After all, you fought against the Orks with them, and for that, you deserve recognition.
On the other side of that coin lie the Lords of Eternity, a probably feudal nation within Sub-Sector Unfallen, coming into contact with the Federation when a scout entered the linchpin system of the Sub-Sector and observed three fleets battling each other before retreating after failing to gain any advantage. The Lords of Eternity welcomed the scouts of the Federation into their systems in the spirit of peace and cooperation. Still, they noted that they have long been at war with both a Xenos Species whose appearance and language are all but unknown to them, despite the many centuries of conflict, and the perfidious Eldar that swing and tremble between whose side they are on and lend allegiance toward, if they aren't busy propping up their own puppets in the Sub-Sector. It should be noted here that, without fail, all higher-ups in the Eternity were, to some degree, psychically gifted. Contact with this polity will likely require extensive work for the Celestial Choir to ensure that Claiden's Rift can be safely traversed by the fleets of the Federation with their Songs.
A sword descended upon a world.
A head rolled from a corpse.
A Plan finished as it always does.
And a Sphinx of the Federation wakes from a slumber, eyes blinking from their tired rising, a mind slowly waking itself to bring about the information given by a dream...from the Star Child themselves.
The Children of Mothome were in danger of falling to Chaos in full.
It must not happen.
Within the week, the Divine Beast sets out with a fleet and armies in tow, its hand and call breaking past all barriers to this liberation.
Stars would fall upon Mothome.
And they would be filled with soldiers of the Federation ready to die for the immortal souls of Children.

[] [General] Ministry of Subversion, Infiltration, and Interstellar Communication
A new age of peace dawns on the Glimmering Federation, and with it rises the required needs of its various branches and plans to come to fruition, from subverting hostile polities to maintaining friendly relations with good neighbors. Thanks to an expansion in its resources, the Ministry of SIIC can now focus on multiple things at a time.
[] [AUTOMATIC] System Subversion
With the allocated funds, a slow subversion of a singular system can be undertaken. However, these efforts can be focused and accelerated with dedicated attention.
(Gain: Allows you to slowly convert one [1] random system at a time to the Glimmering Federation without Action cost.)
Brans - Branus
Suspected Subversion Time: Halted
Modifiers: Peaceful Change Order. ~80 Years Suspected SAI Department Note: Abandoning this would risk detection. Switching focus will require greater investiture of resources.
[] Formal Exchange Of Dipomatic Contacts (Watchtower Confederacy/Lords of Eternity/Black Ash Clan)
Just don't mention Brans. In fact, don't send anyone who knows about that. As for the others, prepare long-term mission kits.
(Gain: Chosen polity opens communications with you on a semi-regular basis.)
[] Economic Harmonization - (Ashan Families or Shipwright's Grove)
Though the Families/Grove and the Federation have been economically friendly and have closer ties, it is time to bring that relationship even closer together. Sharing a single market with shared standards (Read: The Federations) for people and goods, as well as allowing for foreign investment rights to be granted to both parties will cause both states to benefit and come closer together
(Gain: Closer relations and influence with and over the Ashan Families/Shipwright's Grove.)
[] Military Integration and Improvement
The Families have far less experience in the fires of war than the Federation. Increasing the standards of the Families and having an integrated chain of command will let both states come out ahead in the wars to come.
(Gain: Closer relations and influence with and over the Ashan Families.)
[] The Horizon Program - (Ashan Families or Shipwright's Grove)
Scientific research between the Ashan Families or Shipwright's Grove and the Federation have been often sporadic, unorganized and used as barter. For the betterment of all involved research should be an coordinated and be done in co-operation with all parties, with all findings shared equally.
(Gain: Closer relations with the Ashan Families/Shipwright's Grove and +0.1 Research per Action.)
[] ISC Access - (Ashan Families or Shipwright's Grove)
The Federation's ISCs are eager to spread their markets and customer bases beyond the Glimmering Federation, willing to brave the (relatively safe and profitable) unknown.
(Gain: Disables one random ISC per Turn and improves relations with the Ashan Families/Shipwright's Grove greatly.)
[] [AUTOMATIC] Improve Relations
Though tedious work, improving relations over time with steady hands instead of bold declarations and treaties will enable more of the latter to be wrought without any complications.
(Targets: Mashan Temple Authority, Van Zandt Free Duchy, Ashan Families, Shipwright's Grove, Black Ash Clan, Black Cat Company.
Gain: Slowly improved relations.)
Van Zandt Free Duchy
Current Relations: Paranoid Hate
Trend: Glacial Upwards Movement

[] [Military] Create A [Blazing Sun - 14x War-Packs] or 18x SAGs - [System/s] - [Weight: Light/Medium/Heavy] - [Type: Infantry/Mechanized/Tanks/Augmetic Legion] - [Classification: Sabotage/Assault/Engineering/Demolition/Ogryn/Piscarian/Kil'drabi]
Sabotage Units will focus on raiding and disrupting the enemy with lighting raids and plundering logistics; Assault Units will punch through the enemy in weak points and sow confusion with overwhelming firepower; Engineering Units will focus on creating fortifications and using turrets, mines, and barricades; Demolition Units will be comprised out of heavy weaponry squads with plenty of explosives, from mines to rockets; and Ogryn Units will be Ogryns armored in heavy metals and armed with shields and Beatin' Sticks led by soldiers with spiffy hats that will not be disobeyed. Piscarians are adept at wielding heavy equipment for long periods of time, but struggle in high-temperature environs. Kil'drabi Units can go into temperature enviroments Humans would require special equipment with ease. Infantry Units consist mainly of boots on the ground, while Mechanized Units are equipped with vehicles that increase mobility and durability at the cost of logistics and all-terrain capability, with Tanks allowing a myriad of armored spearheads or operations to proceed, and an Augmetic Legion consists of cybernetically enhanced humans, equipped with high-end implants and prosthetics that set them far above the human baseline, allowing for far more dangerous deployments. Light Units are better for low-logistic scenarios, while Medium Units rely more on regular shipments and strike a good balance between supply consumption and effectiveness. Heavy Units rely on solid logistics to continue working while offering an equal force concentration in return. A War-Pack comprises 15 Karnivores grouped in Packs of 3 Knights each, alongside the infrastructure/logistics to support and rebuild their Knights.
(Gain: Four War-Packs or Six SAGs. These contain [Four Units] chosen from the above choices. Tanks require no Classification.)
[] [Military] Sector Battle Group Construction And Repair

-[] Hydralisk (0/1)
-[] Necrolisk (0/1)
-[] Gryphon (0/1)
-[] Gorgon (0/1)
-[] Wyvern (0/1)
A Sector Battle Group consists of 4 Heavy Cruisers, 8 Carriers, 6 Light Cruisers, 8 (Heavy) Frigates, and 4 Destroyers/Corvettes. A Nomadic Fleet consists out of 1 Battlecolony, 2 Heavy Cruisers, 4 Light Cruisers, and 14 Frigates. Building them in bulk is cheaper than in parcel, and once we have them all filled, we can think about constructing new ones!
(Information: All Action Costs must be paid to receive the ships.
Gain: Filled out SBG/Nomadic Fleet.)
[] [Military] Design New Voidship Classes - [Available: Destroyer (1 DP), Frigate (2 DP), Light Cruiser/Freighter (4 DP), Heavy Cruiser/Freighter (8 DP), Temple Ship (25 DP)] - [16 DP]
From what we can tell, thanks to our history, what information we, the Kil'drabi, Yeeni, and the archives of our planets tell us, the difference between a prosperous interstellar polity and one naught but ash is the strength of their navy. At the moment, we have the beginning of a proud Void Fleet, yet purely defending against our enemies is a great way to get ground down into dust over time; we need to be able to bring the fight to them.
(Information: Ship Classes requiring more DP than you possess take more than one Action to design.
Gain: Newly designed and built Ship Class/es.)

There is war to be had and battle to be made. Send troops to resolve issues, squash opposition to the Star Child and Humanity and all Their Protectorates, and send ships to scout neighboring systems to understand what is happening there.
(Gain: Military dispatched to put down opposition violently. Scouts are sent to look at other systems.
Scouting Range: ~20 Systems from Claimed Systems. Scouting Efficiency: 70% Three+ Systems, 40% Eight+ Systems, 20% Fifteen+ Systems.
Note: For use outside your territory or in support of forces specified within another Action.)
[] [Psykana] Conduct Three Melodies (Choose three below.) (0.0/1 - Auto Complete) - [Choose Melody]
The Celestial Choir has been given the means; with time, they shall conduct their songs. They will listen to the Warp and filter out the false whispers from the slumbering guidance of the Star Child. In halting prayer and stumbling humming, the truth will be stripped until nothing but it remains in the hands of those who shall make it anew into power to be wielded by the Choirs to come. As there are 10 Celestial Choirs free to pursue research, the High Council can ask them to pursue a target instead of what comes close. This will, naturally, be lost once they dip below 10 Choirs.
(Total: 36
Uncovered: Technology II, Revenant.
Secret: Slumber, Silence II, Perception II, and Grounding II.
Star Child: Hope II, Compassion II, Humanity II, Mercy II, Creativity III, Health II, Unity II, Innovation II, Machinery II, Logic II, Progress II, Protection III, Justice II, Wisdom II, The Sun III, The Home II, Death II, Ruthlessness II, Brutality II, Fire II, and Love.
Kil'drabi: Paths, The Void II, Struggle II, Community, and Family.
Irrita: Growth, Plants, Harmony, and Hunger.
Gain: Three Melodies newly Conducted.)
[] [Psykana] Sing a Song (Choose at least Three below.)
Mere Melodies are not the end of the journey, nor should they be the start. They are the middle, from which all things shall grow and wither.
(Uncovered: Technology I.
Secret: Perception I, Silence, I, and Grounding I.
Star Child: Protection II, Fire I, The Sun II, Humanity I, Creativity II, Song III, The Home I, Logic I, Unity I, Progress I, Compassion I, Hope I, Health I, Death I, Justice I, Wisdom I, Innovation I, Machinery I, Ruthlessness I, Brutality I, and Mercy I.
Kil'drabi: Void I, and Struggle I.
Gain: A Song.)
[] [Psykana] Psytech Creations
-[] The Psycademia 'Wings of our Crucible' (0/2 (9))
A significant investment of Choirs, experience, dedication, materials, and esoteric thinking shall be the foundation of the Psycademia 'Wings of our Crucible' founded within Quintura Diablo on Diablo Major to unravel and disseminate the mysteries and blessings of technology married to Psychic might.
(Gain: Psytech is moved into Research and benefits from its Traits.) -[] The Shatterprow (1/2)
Though named after the weapon that annihilated twenty-two Light Cruisers in its first showing against the Federation, the weapon is projected to be far weaker than its namesake, and, far more importantly, will not need a billion sapient souls to fire, nor the weird black stones used as amplyfiers.
Requires a Choir to operate.) -[] Improved Psyker Staves (0/15)
The ability to create psychic focii is no longer a mere beginner's art within the Glimmering Federation, and with knowledge and familarity comes the ability to strive further than yesterday. With The Sun Melody having become a measuring-stick upon which one can see progress, its is estimated that further refinement will be capable of of reducing the damages incurred into "mere" full-body third-degree burns.
(Gain: Improves Choir efficiency and might when using Songs and Melodies.) -[] Primitive Psychic Hoods
Thanks to the work done in figuring out how to develop and create psychically-active materials and how they could be shaped into force weapons and focii, another avenue of research has opened up; psychically atuning and shaping cloth and metals to weave together into one whole so that it may protect the wearer when they channel the powers of the Warp.
(Gain: Primitive Psychic Hoods are equipment that shields your Psykers from backlash to varying degrees.)
[] [Faith] The Penitentia Rite
Implicitly allowed by a Conclave of the Droman Creed, it is time for the priests and Hymnals of the Federation to learn about and put into practice the safe creation of Penitentias, those whose soul and body have been entirely given to the judgment of the Star Child for crimes unforgivable by mortals, yet judgeable by their willingness to repent and be potentially erased by the disgust of the Unborn Divine.
(Gain: Penitentia Rite.)
[] [Faith] An Unborn Guide Sought Out (Write-In)
...
(Gain: Guidance on how to deal with, or gain, something.)
[] [Knightly Orders] Deal With The Paperwork (1.5/2)
"AAAAAAAAAAAAA-"
-Order Master Kara Salafus upon being informed about the reorganization of the Knight Orders.
(Gain: Dealt with the paperwork.)
[] [Chapter] Recuperate and Expand (0/5)
With the most pressing matters dealt with, and aid denied by those in possible need, the Lamenters will not turn their attention to expanding their Chapter to better wage war against the horrors of the galaxy.
(Gain: The Lamenters gain eight Companies.)
[] [Other] Take Care Of [Future Or Current Problems]
(Write-In the problem being addressed.)
So its time to help mothhome, design the ships we have been talking about for a while and a third action.
for the forces to send to mothhome a multi racial force might work best with at least one non human SAG to show we are a multiracial nation
Magisch veers a bit too close on the Heavy Metals side in its fauna/flora alongside some minor overpresence of poisonous metals in its crust to be comfortable.
