I have, and I only have one thing to say: Itachi, Hiruzen, and especially Danzo. You guys are so fucked it's not even funny anymore. That Sasuke scares the ever living shit out of me in more ways that I though possible, especially when considering his bullshiting "trait" gained, cortesy of Itachi's personal tough-love treatment, personalized just for lil' brother for three days straight. The result was just adorable. Though it's not really bullshit when considering what the Sharingan can do...
Good luck with Konoha dealing with that hot mess, because I don't think that there is a shrink qualified for that.
I wonder what it would be like for the Naruto people to do a reaction fic to that.

Right, and what about those that saw their comrades murdered right in front of them? What about those who are fully aware of what they have done? What about the kids who get sent into war and come out as broken as Kakashi?
For Mist, they accept Broken as the new Adult.
For Konoha they're working on it, but they could always demonize some group and vent on those.

Proper mental healthcare...likely comes a fair bit after making your soldiers graduate at 18, not 12.

Considering how Sasuke become a master of things in mere days that would take months to learn, I fear how powerful he'll be with proper training under someone like Orochimaru.
If it's chackra control? Yeah, she has the potential to do some serious bullshit. She would would likely have an easier time with Genjustsu or even learning Rasengan. Depends of who bothers to train her earlier.

Has anyone ever read "The sociopathy of Sasuke Uchiha" by "Sir Lucifer Morningstar"? Cause that is one great fic that shows how mentally broken Sasuke is.

You mean his potential for being mentally broken? Because if anyone said Sasuke was like that in canon (as mentally broken and as powerful), I'd have said they were w@nking him (and confusing canon with AU) from what I remember of that story.

Teaching the 8 Gates to everyone is a very stupid idea. [I believe that] The 8 Gates is a technique that is only known to and fiercely guarded by Gai because he knows how powerful it is. His dad took on the 7 Swordsmen of the Mist using that technique. That is an incredible amount of power which he isn't stupid enough to just give to everyone. Torture exists and all it will take is one broken Jonin to lose valuable information and jutsus to other nations. Imagine a village like the Hidden Mist, you don't think if they had this technique, they would train a team of ninja to turn into a suicide squad to destroy their opponents.

Hell, I don't think we have enough charisma to actually convince Gai to teach us and the time spent on getting him to take us as an apprentice will be way too long.
There's a TON of jutsu like that in canon that literally no one is doing that with. Why? Who knows, but they ain't.

But more seriously, Gai blabs about how it works in public, infront of a lot of foreign ninja, and there are a lot of ninja around who have the skills needed (fancy eyes, or a high level sensor) to just look at Gai/Lee and figure out everything they need to know about the technique. It's a VERY simple technique, it's opening specific tenketsu. As I mentioned earlier, any Hyuuga could do it with ease. After that, all you need is conditioning, which literally every ninja works on (though maybe not to the extent of Gai/Lee).
[X] Plan: Itachi Peer

If we want to have a happier story with Itachi and Dog, we will need to be strong enough to have that happy ending (it is the Naruto world). Might as well use our genius to its best extent while still having a peer we can both support and be supported by.
Thing is, Itachi and Kakashi are also people who are REALLY skilled, and train A LOT. If we become friends with them, then we can train WITH them. Get Good Friends to Get Gud With Friends. Hell, Kakashi is going to become a Sensei in not too long, him teaching us can easily become his job if he likes us.

Plus, I'm afraid if we don't pick one of them this turn, we won't GET to be friends with them. Their curiosity about would have just dried up.
Uh...it makes perfect sense why the Hyuuga don't go into the Gates? The Gates basically bust the limiters open, which would make their entire fighting style obsolete, when they're all about precise, controlled Chakra application.

And also noting that even the first three Gates fuck your body up. They make you physically better in the short term, but at the cost of increased body damage, aggravated fatigue and more. You need to be incredibly healthy to begin with to avoid the Gates crippling you with the backlash.
This is opposed to the Hyuuga's entire strategy based around a superb sustain game where they out-defend their opponent, spend less chakra doing so than their foes spend to attack and keep stacking debuffs whenever they make a mistake.
Busting your limiters doesn't fuck over your chakra control. It shoves it all into your hands for you to personally deal with, rather than letting your autonomic systems do it. What's more, it boosts your speed by a fuck ton. Which the Hyuuga ARE all about. That, in addition to precision, is the cornerstone of their martial art. Imagine if Lee knew the Gentle Fist in that fight against Gaara. Instead of Pinballing Gaara like he did, trying to break through his sand armor, he could just tap him a few times, and BAM, fight over.

Why do you say the first 3 hurt you? The second explicitly revitalizes you, by forcfully boosting your stamina.
The Hyuuga only play the attrition game when they can't just quickly down their opponent. The Gates would grant such a huge burst of speed and power allowing them to quickly bull-rush anyone who would have proven an obstacle otherwise, they only need to land a few hits to the right spots (sometimes even just one hit) to take out almost any opponents.

Uh, everything we see of the second Gate is that it revitalizes you like a shot of caffeine/meth does. It doesn't give you more energy, it taps into energy your body was going to use later, for a burst of immediate performance.

Point is, he gained power in exchange for Trauma that no one should be exposed to, and anyone who says that Naruto had a harder life than him can kiss my ass.

The point is that they shouldn't compare dck sizes their suffering. On the other hand, unfortunately, people tend to exaggerate what Naruto suffered - he was lonely because people feared and 'secretly' hated him, there were no 'beatings' or mobs. The fanon cliches in this fandom are especially terrible.

Tbf, one of the reasons people seem to rather spend time on fluff and socializing instead of training is because it's Itachi and Kakashi...literally two of the most loved characters in Naruto. If it was a nameless random or a OC the vote would have gone differently.

Also, let us not negate Taijutsu here, that's the most potent skill we have, learning Jutsu's is all well and good but not as important, getting a early start on Gentle Fist would have been better in the long run.

Why do you say that? Lee doesn't seem to crash after using the 2nd gate. And even were that true, Ninja are hardly shy about using performance enhancing drugs with side-effects, Combat Pills are absolutely a thing they use. It's better to get all of your energy out now, rather than later, when you otherwise might be DEAD later.

I think I shall say one thing before anything else:

We are also a medical AI, who was also modified to be a combat AI. We are literally the most qualified person on the planet to deal with any sort of medical emergency, if we are trained and or are given even an inkling of power over a medical emergency.

Edit: If we strated melding our mind with the AI of course.

An issue with voting mostly friendship is that you are assuming that we would be training with them equally or more than if we had trained alone. Naruto, from what I recall, mostly is about people trainign alone or with their master...alone. The arcs where they train as a group exist, but are relatively few and far between

Thus my suggestion of Itachi and training. We don't want to be the guys who coast on our natural talent and not working hard. As the setting shows, extreme hard work will trump natural talent. Better still: have both.

It seems this turn we will be using 2/3 of our efforts having fun and only 1/3 raising our skills. Something we may want to switch next turn- even if the dice bless us.

True. But, that is the balance right now. Plus, it seems in this setting, early work can lead to more options and abilities later.

To be fair, Naruto has several life times worth of Training to Sasuke's one. Shadow Clones really are bullshit, hell the only reason Naruto won most of his fights pre-Shippuden was due to Kyuubi-Chakra and his opponents constantly underestimating him.
