Canon Omake: Infidelity By Trondason
Infidelity

For a clan that seems to be all about tradition and formality, an outsider would be rather shocked to learn that they are the biggest gossip mongers Konoha. Their eyes helped them keep track of basically everything that happened in Konoha, so whenever drama happens you can be sure a Hyuga saw it. Everything from romantic misadventures, to heated arguments, to the achievements of children were game for hushed whispers over tea.

In recent months, however, they could talk about only one thing. The "Family Traitor", the kid who sided with the Main Family against the Branch. Opinions were split, but everyone talked.

"Can you freaking believe it?" Tokuma asked, while furiously laying into the training dummy. "We finally have a chance to be rid of the Main House, and he steps in and stops us!"

"... He may have a point, though." Hoheta replied hesitantly.

Hearing this, Tokuma rounded on him in anger "Oh don't you freaking start. You better not be going soft on me!"

Hoheta held up his hands placatingly "No, I'm still willing to do what I must, but.. if what the boy claims is true, then there is no need."

Tokuma scoffs "Yeah right, it's a bunch of bullcrap. There's no way the Main House would allow a version of the seal that removes all of their power over us."

"It is unlikely, but what do we lose waiting to see if it's true? If it's a lie, we can kill him later, if it's true there is no need." Hoheta counseled. "We don't want to rush through this too soon, we don't even have a plan for after his death. Who will lead once he's gone? If we killed him now, there would inevitably be infighting, and Shirou was right atleast in that regard, we don't want to have to fight Family. We can use this time to prepare, for the inevitability."

Tokuma scoffs, but can't bring himself to disgree. Instead he walks off "Let's get some drinks. You're paying." Hoheta, knowing it's the best way to calm him down, happily follows along.

"Have you seen his eyes?" Hana asked her oldest friend, Fu.

"Whose?"

"Shirou's!" Hana said eagerly, leaning in for some good gossip. "They're glowing red!"

"What!?" Fu replied, dumbfounded, as she activated her Byakugan to try to get a look at Shirou. "What in the world!? Red are the eyes of the Uchiha!" She almost spat then name of their clan's oldest rival.

"Are we certain of his parentage?" Hana asked. "I hadn't noticed anything off till now, but..."

Fu frowned and hummed. "I haven't either... I'll see if I can find out who was on watch around then. Hopefully they saw."

They were quite for a few moments, contemplating the potential political snafu. Hana broke the silence "Would explain his arms, and how easily he gets along with the Uchiha."

Fu winced "Think he's Fugaku's?"

Hana hissed "Kami, I hope not. An Uchiha is one thing, but the Head? That'd cause complete chaos, for both of our clans."

"I can't believe that uchiha-brat!" Hiro growled in anger, byakugan activated as he watched the Heir and the Traitor on the other side of the clan's grounds.

Natsu sighed as she continued making breakfast "What is it now, dear?"

"He decided he'd be Hinata's body guard! First he protects Hiashi from justice and now his spawn!?" Hiro Raged. He had been planning on removing the little brat before she could grow up, but now it would be much harder with the Traitor standing in the way.

"Hiro, darling, I keep telling you you need to calm down and think this through carefully." Natsu chided, setting his food in front of him.

"I am calm, woman!" Hiro exploded in anger, slapping the food away and causing it to splatter against the wall.

He was answered with a cold silence, before Natsu replied "I can't talk to you like this, I'll be heading to Auntie Hana's, you can make your own food." She packaged up her own serving, and then promptly left, leaving her irate husband to stew.

And stew he did. He never liked that brat, and now he knows why. He's not only a Traitor, he's a no-good Uchiha. He's gonna give that brat everything that's coming to him, and then take care of the head family, he just needs to convince the others to have his back.

  1. A Violent Uprising doesn't just go away, lots of people are very salty and are trying to figure out what to do next.
  2. There's a lot of salt between the Hyuuga and the Uchiha. Two of the biggest and strongest clans in the village (with Senju having just... fade away for some reason), both with super iconic eye balls and are extremely potent in combat, and yet the Uchiha get the praise far more often. Heck, the Byakugan is almost the perfect eyeball for police work, and the Uchiha get complete control of it!
  3. Mixing bloodlines can have... unexpected results. It's one of the reasons inter-clan marriage is generally frowned upon, and nobody has any idea what the heck was wrong with our arms. And now with our unexplained sharingan-red eyes, people are getting suspicious.

Call that canon. And +10 to the rolls next turn.

Konoha Rhapsody
Konoha Rhapsody:

You sighed as you took a deep breath. Well. This was going to be weird.

"Uncle… Why are we getting the compound ready for war?" You asked.

Hiashi nodded. "Diplomats are coming in a few weeks, and I want the compound to be on high alert in case of… bloodline thieves."

You nodded. "Alright. Is there anything else."

"We are hosting them." Uncle Hiashi stated. "The Hokage's orders… he would have done it himself if he had the room."

"But the Hokage's manner is huge." You replied.

"Yes. it is rather unfortunate that it is still under renovation from the Kyuubi attack." He stated.

That was when you realized that it probably had something to do with the security of his wife and child. One had already been kidnapped once and was rescued already by her husband… and the other was far too young and important to even think about risking. "I see."

"We're the only ones who can keep an eye on them for the entirety of their stay." He paused. "I need you to be vigilant… and keep an eye on Hinata and Neji."

"Yes, sir." You replied.

You paused. "Sir… I would recommend not calling them bloodline thieves… that implies some honor in the work. Call them what they are. Evil."

"Indeed." Uncle replied. "Do well nephew."

Turn Begin

Training Actions: These are Actions that improve your skills as a ninja (Remember, you have a +50 roll bonus to your training rolls):

(Choose 3)

[]Learn New Taijutsu Style: You want to learn another Taijutsu Style, one that may help you in battle.

[]Train Ninjutsu: You need some more ninjutsu in your arsenal, Kakashi-sensei compiled by giving you one.

[]Train Genjutsu: Your genjutsu skills are lackluster… In fact, they are almost nonexistent.

[]Train Elemental Jutsu: Since you have lightning, Kakashi is breaking out a few older scrolls that belonged to his father. Something about training yourself to become lightning.

[]Byakugan Dodge Training: Uncle Hiashi thinks it's time you learn who to use the Byakugan in a way that will increase your speed… and the ability to pick out anything hard to see.

[]Byakugan Range Training: You will expand your range for your eyes, using a series of exercises from Uncle Hiashi.

[]Train Hinata: You are going to make Hinata feel safe. It would take some time… but you would have her feel safe… and able to protect herself.

Social Actions: These are actions to spend time with your friends and teammates (You have a +10 roll due to the Last Pilot).
(Choose 3)

[]A Game of Hide and Seek: You are going to challenge the ANBU to a game of hide and seek. You will not use your eyes, and they cannot leave the village. Hopefully, Lord Hokage finds it amusing and agrees to it.

[]Fly me To the Moon: You look at the Last Pilot… at you, and smile. "Do you want to fly?"

[]Wander the Village: You want to wander the village. You're old enough to find your way home after all.

[]Spend Time with Hiashi: Uncle Hiashi… why are you looking at me like that? Is something wrong?

[]Care for Neji: Your brother may be raised by your aunt… but you will not accept being away from your brother. You need to begin to truly teach him the way of being a genius.

[]Care for Hinata: Hinata is a quiet baby… but she needs more care than what Auntie Hana can provide.

[]Help Others: You will go to the Hospital and demand they set up a psych ward. There are several people within these walls that are lacking psychological help.

[]Uzumaki Help: Kushina and Naruto came by your home to spend time with Hinata and Uncle Hiashi and Auntie Hana.

[]The Tip of the Spear: Futaba is requesting your help… something about looking for some meteoric iron at the border of the Land of Fire and the Land of… Where are we going again? Wave?

Missions: These are missions handed down from the village from clients and the village itself.
(Choose 1)

[]D-Rank: Babysit Naruto: Kushina has asked ou all to babysit her son so she can get a day off. Why do you have a bad feeling about this?

[]D-Rank: Civil Services: You need to do your civic duty, like clean up trash, trim lawns, maintain and rebuild training grounds… It's nice and Relaxing.

[]D-Rank: The Fence Job: Wait… so someone is paying 10,000 Ryu… to have his fence painted in an hour. What a lazy bum.

[]D-Rank: Farming for Dummies: Apparently, Kakashi owns some property outside the village, owned by his clan, and a farmer he hired is caring for it. He put you up to help his Farm. He's also paying the maximum contract. Great.

[]D-Rank: Cat Problems: The Fire Daimyo's cat is loose again… now you have to find it without killing it. Shouldn't be that hard?

[]D-Rank: The Stars are out tonight!: So… and Astronomer wants to get to the highest point in the Land of Fire, and hired bodyguards… to carry his shit. Wow.

AN: Enjoy, and please vote in Plan format.

This makes no sense, why does the village not have a guest quarter? If it's gone or destroyed why not co-opt some civilian homes (paying them for their time of course)? I mean seriously there a thousand other options and literally all of them would be better than forcing the severely weakened and depleted clan of bloodline holders to host the possible spies and or assassins of an enemy village, especially when this specific clan is noted for being constantly targeted by bloodline thief's.

*Edit: Also as a founding clan (and one of the most wealthy and noble) there is no fucking way the hokage could get away with forcing them to do a goddamn thing in their own compound with their own members

Lots of shit in Naruto makes no sense. This is probably the patch job that's being used to explain why Kumo was able to kidnap Hinata in canon. Kumo will probably try them because they can risk war with Pein on their side.

I strongly recommend Uzumaki help as an action. Getting the Hokage's family interacting more closely with ours gives us a powerful backer in case of family civil war. It might dissuade the extremists to start with if they think messing with us or Hiashi will bring the Yellow Flash down on them like the wrath of God.

The closer Minato's family is to ours, the more people will realize as much.
