    But you digressed.

    He wanted to make sure that whatever happens… he would leave the clan in good hands...and Hinata would have a protector she could trust and rely on.

    And you and Neji, exceeded his expectations…

    No… You created higher expectations.

    You began to see things that you thought weren't possible before.

    Reward: You and Neji both learn Gentle Fist Defensive Stance (Kage rank): This is similar to the Gentle Fist you use but more focused on a defensive stance and posture. (+50 to defense rolls. A Chance to counter-attack if the enemy attack fails.)

    It was a quiet affair, the ceremony. The Branch family could not believe what they were seeing with their own eyes as the seal went onto the forehead of Hinata, who was frightened by the whole ordeal but comforted by the fact that it would soon be over, and that she could go run and play.

    The family saw the seal glow on Hinata's head and Hiashi smiled. "Do you believe me now?" He asked, quiet tears falling down his face.

    All the pain that this clan had suffered would be in the past. There would be no more blood spilled. There would be no more Branch.

    There would only be… one clan.

    The entire branch… nay, the entire clan, bowed their heads. The Era of the Caged bird was over.

    The Era of Unity… of a free bird has begun.

    Reward: The Hyuga clan is now no longer about to be shattered by civil war. There will be no problems between them ever again.

    The Brach family and Main Family have been disbanded.

    The Hyuga clan reformed as one at long last… all of them together again. No seal, no force.

    Just a family at long last, finally whole again.

    The run to the border was quite simple. You ran to the border, met with the dealer… and then left.

    The man had red hair and you felt strange about him. "Ah… you're the buyer?"

    "Yes," Futaba stated. "Do you have the Iron?"

    The man nodded. "Fished it from the sea deary… now pay up."

    She smiled. "Alright old man." She threw a large roll of Ryu at the man. "Now the Iron."

    The large chunk of Iron was in a very large crate. "It's in the crate."

    "Good." She looked at you. "Shiro, carry it."

    "Why do I need to carry it?" You asked.

    "Because your stronger, and I'm paying you, now mush." She stated.

    Reward: You have helped Futaba bring the Iron she wanted and will now forge an unbreakable Yari Spear.

    Would the new style be some sorta super-gentle fist? Mixing the two styles into one really good one?

    Also, we have now officially surpassed our father. He'd be so proud of us.

    Damn you, low roll! If we were any higher, we might have capped this. Oh well.
     
    Really want to learn the lion fist style but that probably costs way too much chakra for Shiro to practically use right now.

    We just need to work on our chakra (the only reason we aren't better in that yet is because we PHYSICALLY CAN'T be better) and get some complementary Ninjutsu and we'd be ready to make fair claim to the seat of Hokage, as far as skill is concerned.

    Only right now, we're going to be able to increase our reserves next turn.

    Well... that depends on how many other villages have super-genin like us. Because anyone who isn't skilled enough to be a jounin is gonna be just canon-fodder for our team.

    Forest of death should be interesting, on one hand there is the possibility of every team trying to get us but at the same time Shiro can see nearly everything in the forest and will be able to maneuver around it and them.

    IOTL she's one of Konoha's top jounin. She is still a baby/toddler right now, so being at genin level does make her well ahead of the game.

    Doesn't mean we should stop training her, though.


    Just saying this before the next training...we should do some stuff with the Uzumakis. Besides getting closer to the Hokage and a seal master, it gives us a chance to be another mentor/big brother figure for Naruto. Though ideally we'd have auto successes ready that turn.

    Hopefully we won't need Ninja Jesus, but better to have and not need than need and not have.

    We might not do the one for this year. We're VERY skilled, but a good argument can be made for desiring experience (especially with whatever will happen with our C rank), sparring is one thing but actual combat is another. Canonically, Itachi waited 3 years before doing the exam, and it's not like the Hokage can't just promote us if there is ever a situation where we NEED to be higher ranked.

    I don't mean to come off as callous or insensitive, but if a QM needs to retroactively alter the enemies in a quest... Does that mean the players cannot relax or devote time into "not training actions" out of fear that the future opponent will kill the PC?

    I'm trying to come up with a counter for the problem of "PC is too strong for mooks to beat, so QM alters things to give the previously weak opponents extra sustainability for that innocent nat 1 roll to mess the playing field up". All I got for ideas is to have some hard limited rules in place for that situation so the DM won't suddenly toss a mindflayer at the PCs who just roll ridiculously high numbers each campaign.
