Do the Hyuuga have any Ninjustu, or are they entirely focused on the Gentle Fist?
We need to learn the academy three first.Do the Hyuuga have any Ninjustu, or are they entirely focused on the Gentle Fist?
I didn't hear a no.
I mean Clan Jutsu, like how the Uchiha had the "Great Fireball" technique, and the Inuzuka had the "Man Beast Clone" technique.I don't know about @Magoose 's Quest(s), but according to the 4th Databook, Neji was capable of using three elements and Hinata two. Take that as you will.
Nope, they rely solely on Gentle Fist and all the close, medium and long ranged attacks it brings.I mean Clan Jutsu, like how the Uchiha had the "Great Fireball" technique, and the Inazuka had the "Man Beast Clone" technique.
So they use near 360 division and enhanced range of sight... for Close Combat.Nope, they rely solely on Gentle Fist and all the close, medium and long ranged attacks it brings.
...Mostly close combat. So they use near 360 division and enhanced range of sight... for Close Combat.
Thing is, we can increase training time later if it turns out we don't do any appreciable group stuff (plus, Kakashi very easily could be our sensei). An issue with voting mostly friendship is that you are assuming that we would be training with them equally or more than if we had trained alone. Naruto, from what I recall, mostly is about people trainign alone or with their master...alone. The arcs where they train as a group exist, but are relatively few and far between
Thus my suggestion of Itachi and training. We don't want to be the guys who coast on our natural talent and not working hard. As the setting shows, extreme hard work will trump natural talent. Better still: have both.
It seems this turn we will be using 2/3 of our efforts having fun and only 1/3 raising our skills. Something we may want to switch next turn- even if the dice bless us.
Gentle Fist can also be used for long range combat. So they use near 360 division and enhanced range of sight... for Close Combat.
Do they ever use it for Longe range attacks?

Yeah, the Vacuum Palm, which fires a concentrated chakra projectile as a powerful, large vacuum shell. It's hard to explain without the wiki, but its pretty powerful (not that Shippuden ever gave it any respect).
Yes, in the rare instances they can't punch someone.
Yes, and eventually we're going to be different in such a way that we will be balanced between long range combat and close combat. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
