"Hey" *Jo turns to look at Gin* *Gin holds up the grate and rubs the top of his head cause that still hurt a little* *Jo pauses, then puts the grate back up before nodding to Gin and sitting down*

Rest of the class: *Cricket chirping*
One student: "Dude, knock it off"
Cricket Youkai: "Sorry, it just happens when its too quiet."

[X]Start somethin- wait, it's that guy who alerted those babes in the changing room to your presence yesterday afternoon. And besides, class is going to start in a few minutes. Don't start something after all.

More that I don't want him to possibly interact with Mizore, who might still be up there.
Which could happen if he does something with the ventilation shaft.
<Sen. Armstrong hat on>「Gravity」, son! <Sen. Armstrong hat off>

It will still probably happen sooner or later. Unless you try and manage to murder Gin before the Newspaper Club can become a plot point.

Since I've never watched/read/participated in Rosario + Vampire material before I don't know if this is a joke, very serious, or just an aside comment.

Gin's an absolute raging pervert, gropes every female he knows on a regular basis, and at full moon gets driven into being a borderline (or possibly not borderline) rapist. It's true that he does have his good points- extreme loyalty to his friends and a decent sense of right and wrong outside of how he treats women- but overall? The guy's an absolute slime. Personally, I wouldn't exactly be unhappy if he got too far onto Jotaro's bad side.

Actually its all the above. Somehow....

Gin also trained Kurumu and Mizore during the break between manga part 1 and manga part 2, giving them multiple levels in badass.
Srsly, underestimate the pervy mutt at your own peril.
Also, there are monsters that are worse perverts and without any good points.

So what you're saying is we should unlock our Stand and then fight Gin in the middle of the day?

Speaking of which!
I'd like to meet a certain teacher, and a certain bastard slug thing.

Though is there any reason we couldn't train Mizore to become a badass ourseleves? She could possibly learn the Ripple. I know Ripple is effective against youkai, but is there any reason that some types couldn't use it? It's not like sunlight is intrinsically harmful to every kind of youkai. And I have to wonder how well ice conducts Ripple energy.

Yup; anybody who can go toe to toe with Inner Moka (even if he did need the full moon to do it) is not someone to be messed with. Current Jotaro would probably lose to him, even in the day, but with more Ripple training we might be able to take him. To say nothing of Star Platinum. Although he's not exactly a high priority target right now anyway- as you pointed out, amongst monsters he's (sadly) not really that bad.

Not very well. It was a minor plot point of one episode. Had to use the condensation off the ice to pull off ripple effects rather then use the ice itself.

I said nothing of the sort.

Slugguy could happen, Octoprof would be more problematic because of how things worked out to involve Mizore so much earlier.

Remember how I said, much earlier, that Jotaro could plausibly still use Ripple even if Moka turned him into a vampire, but also that doing so could cause serious internal injuries? It's like that for other monster breeds too. Worst case scenario if Mizore learns Ripple (and there's no guarantee she could be able to use it anyway), is she could melt herself to nothing from the inside out like Straights did.

By human standards, sure, Gin is a monster (pun intentional) with some likable/honorable traits. But by monster standards? He's not much worse than Polnareff or Kakyoin, speaking comparatively.

Yokai morality is「bizarre」.

Don't forget that the Ripple is something only a small number of people in the world have enough in-built talent with the Ripple to do anything useful with it.

The Joestars and Zeppeli's are either freaks of nature or, more likely, descended from the Ripple Clans that survived the battle with Kars and his followers in the time of the Roman Empire.

While there are ways to awaken the ability in others it's no sure thing even for a master, such as when Zeppeli failed to awaken the Ripple in Speedwagon.

Not to mention the badness associated with a Monster trying to channel Ripple in this fusion given that Ripple energy seems to do to Youkai energy what water does to Alkali Metals.

[X]Put the ventilation grate back in its proper place. Honestly, this guy...!
-[X]On second thought, he kicked down the grate, he should be the one to have to put it back.
