His reactions to him thinking he's losing his cool are hilarious. I wonder if anyone is going to tell Jotaro that he's stone-faced all the time or if he's ever going to realize it.

<several years later>

Kid Jolyne: "YOU'RE NEVER THERE FOR ME AND YOU'RE NEVER HAPPY TO SEE ME OR MAMA!"

Jotaro: "That's not even remotely tru-"

Kid Jolyne: "YOUR FACE NEVER, EVER CHANGES! I HATE YOU!"

Jotaro: <shock>

Mostly because Jotaro isn't self-taught anymore, thanks to Grandpa Joseph

Update 120 - At the Shirayukis' III
You slowly exhale a cloud of smoke, and watching it dissipate into the room dramatically brings you a small sense of satisfaction.

As you take a small moment to decide how you intend to phrase your response, you lean back and close your eyes. "I intend to make her happy," you say as a preface, and you can sense Hiyasu waving for you to go on. "It's not a conversation we've had yet, but I'm pretty sure that she wants to start a family of our own."

And honestly, it makes you all kinds of anxious to think about that, but at the same time, isn't the prospect kind of exciting, too? "And if Mizore decides she'd like to get married after we both graduate, then we'll make it happen. If she doesn't want to, I'm okay with that, too. ...But no matter what," you say with utmost conviction, "I don't intend to give her up. For anything, or anyone."

Standing up to your full height, you put your hands in your pockets and gaze imperiously down at the still-seated Hiyasu. "Do you have a problem with that?"

With effort, you resist the urge to call him a punk.

Hiyasu, for his part, stands up to meet your challenge, stepping forward and getting right in your face. "...'after graduation'?"

You shift your body weight forward, so that you cut a slightly more intimidating figure. Not to mention that you're already much more imposing than his human form anyway. "You heard me."

The minutes-long staredown that followed would be one for the ages, deserving of immortalization in art and prose..... if not for the way that Hiyasu abruptly breaks out into a wide, toothy grin. "Fine by me, Junior!"

Hiyasu claps you on the shoulder with strength enough that your knees almost buckle in protest, and moves on past you. "Now come along," he says with a hearty laugh, "we'd better join the girls for dinner before it thaws out!"

.........Fortunately, it appears that Tsurara hasn't made a habit of providing her human guests with literally frozen dinners.

Partway through, Tsurara departs to take your mother some soup. You'd follow her, but Mizore takes a glance at your un-emptied plate, before looking at you rather expectantly. Hmph.

Since it's under these circumstances, you suppose you can finish eating before you leave the table.
That smile, though...
After dinner, you make your way to the guest room, and Tsurara meets you in the doorway. "She appears to be stable now, though she's still a bit tired. Don't excite her too much for tonight."

[]Just go straight to bed, and in the morning you'll see how Holly's doing after a good night's rest.
[]Take a brief moment to check on her now.

Anyone care to bet on if Mizore and her mom listened in?
We seem to have won the father's approval at least so that's something.
Snow Women being as Snow Women are, Hiyasu's main point of concern was whether you intended to treat your relationship with Mizore seriously.

As long as you met that condition (which, a majority of votes indicated that you were), and weren't a total douchebag (and Mizore wouldn't even be hanging with you if that were the case), then that's pretty much all he was looking for.

JoJo might have rough and bristly exterior, but inside he's a big old softy.
