That's a shame. It's one of the best JoJo quests on the internet, and I've been bummed out by the drought of new content.

I don't mean to be impatient, but @EvaUnit01 , how's that update coming?
......oh shit, I was supposed to be working on that, wasn't I?

YOU HEARD NOTHING! <whistles suspiciously innocently>

But in all seriousness, my inspiration of late has primarily been on other projects on another forum.... and to be brutally honest, the fact that most of the other JJBA and/or RosaVamp stories/projects I follow are even less frequently active than I am kind of makes it easier for my attention to end up remaining focused on other things.

Your effusive praise did a great job of making me feel really guilty, though, so I'll see if I can't try and legitimately make something happen ASAP. By the.... end of the week, hopefully? Maybe?

It's not a huge rush.

To be honest, I was just worried that it would count as a necro if I waited any longer.

On a completely different note... Diamond is Unbreakable movie: Who here wants an international theatrical release?

As long as I can watch it legally in my country with either dubs or subs I will be happy.

Update 119 - At the Shirayukis' II
After reaching the inn and entrusting Tsurara with Holly's care, you find yourself seated in a cozy foyer. Hiyasu's at the fireplace, stoking the fire to provide an atmosphere more appropriate for human habitation. His choice of words, not yours.

"Make yourself at home," Hiyasu says with a relaxed tone.

Well, you're more than content to do so. Leaning back into the couch you're on, you promptly put your feet up on the glass table in front of you as if you own the place. Lazily tossing your hat onto the rack on the far wall, you promptly pull out a cigarette and light it, before inhaling the cancerous smoke and just... basking in the nicotine high.

"So," the laid-back father asks, "have you made many friends this year, Mizore?"

Having undone the laces, Mizore kicks off her shoes. "Well... I guess I've made a few, but I only really know them through Senpai, and they're all in the Newspaper Club."

Hiyasu nods, producing a bag of marshmallows and a box of graham crackers. "I see. And Jotaro, here, is the only one in your own club that you'd say you're close to?"

Mizore nods. "Yeah, they're not bad, but... they're just 'guys from club'."

A pause. "I mean... everyone gets along pretty well, and Kazama's nice enough, but..."

"But?"

Mizore attempts to say what she's thinking in a polite manner, and then gives up with a shrug. "He's a loser."

Well, you certainly can't disagree with her there.

Hiyasu nods, retrieving a stick from nearby and -- seriously? He's going to make s'mores inside. What the hell? His mouth dips into a frown, Mizore's words doubtless making him think of something unpleasant. A moment later, he visibly shakes his head, and his demure smile returns. "I see. Well, if you're not terribly interested in most of your clubmates, then what about those Newspaper Club friends you mentioned?"

"I talked about them before, over the phone."

"You told your mother about them over the phone," he says. "I'd like to hear it for myself, in your own words."

Mizore glances at you, and you roll your eyes in response. With a tiny smirk that she's not even remotely trying to hide, your girl silently pads over to your couch and lays down, snuggling into your side. After taking several seconds to try and condense what she has to say as much as she can, she finally speaks. "...there's a Vampire with split personalities, a mad scientist genius Witch who belongs in elementary school, and a love-starved airhead of a Succubus who enjoys baking -- and all of them head-over-heels for a Human kid who looks really boring and ordinary, but stands out in our school by his kindness and compassion. ...oh, and their club president is a perverted werewolf scumbag."

After a moment, she smiles. "And Jojo is my knight in shining armor who routinely puts bad guys in the intensive care unit," she adds, "and I'm the stalker chick."

"You all sound like you make for quite the group of weirdos," Hiyasu admits with a nod, before smashing his near-molten marshmallow between some graham crackers and a piece of chocolate.

Blue-purple eyes seeming to stare directly into your soul, he asks, "...want one?"

[]Sure.
[]No tha-

Before you can even decide, Mizore snatches the treat from in front of you, taking it for herself.

Whatever.

At that time, Tsurara returns, and shoots her husband with quite the disapproving look. "Honestly, honey, dinner's nearly finished. Are you trying to ruin their appetites?"

"One s'more," Hiyasu replies, "does not a dinner ruin."

Tsurara makes a show of huffing in annoyance as she walks away, but she's clearly trying not to smile. "Come along, Mizore, and help me set the table."

Mizore rises without complaint, but not without giving you a peck on the cheek. Damn it, woman, she'd better not have made you blush! Trying to make you look uncool in front of her parents like that...!
Your stoic expression and utter lack of self-awareness remain perfectly intact.
Hiyasu begins to slowly put away his s'more ingredients, humming a song you don't recognize.

"I realize this isn't a question that most young men expect from their girlfriend's dad," he begins, "but I'm going to ask it anyway."

Hiyasu stares you down, eye-to-eye, and for a moment, the relaxed and carefree guy on the floor seems to be replaced with the rampaging Snowman from the forest. "Exactly what are your intentions regarding my family, Hamon-user?"

Does Jotaro know about the snow-woman fertility thing yet? As far as I can remember Mizore only told Joseph, but I guess he could have learned about it off-screen.

Also, the usual invisitext for people who missed it.

[X] Plan So Cool

[X] If you're worried about my use of Hamon, I'm a self study, and my reasons are entirely for self defense.
[X] At this point, I'm hoping that our relationship works out. Whatever she wants, I'll go along with it.
-[X] I have hopes, but I'm not going to force her to do anything. This relationship moves forward when she feels comfortable with it and no sooner.
--[X] In any case, I'm not going to give her up. Finding someone I can stand to be around for long periods is hard enough. Finding someone I actually like is a god damn miracle. I am not the kind of man who squanders miracles.

I like most of your vote, but if we're going to be accurate then we only started out as a self study.
Based on what this peculiar breathing-based ability does to your body's immune system and healing functions, you decide to call it "Overdrive".
We've gotten Overdrive Hamon advice and a training montage from Joseph since then.
