............okay people, as much as some people apparently praise the results of when I do it, I honestly kind of hate doing slice of life stuff.

I'm not a very social person, so writing characters just... socializing... is pretty much hell for me.

Soooooooooooo I'm open to some suggestions for conversation topics. Anyone?

Joseph thinks that stalking is legal in Japan due to everyone's nonreaction? :V

Ask Mizore why she's walking around with a lollipop.

Or comment on the two apparently talking in their own private language. That Jotaro probably thinkis is entirely transparent.

"What the fuck do little japanese girls even do? I mean, what do creatures such as Mizore even enjoy?"

"What, you mean Ice Women?"

"No, I meant japanese female teenagers."

Isn't that the OTHER famous vampire?

Yeah, but it's not like DIO wouldn't do it. He's a homicidal maniac who's obsessed with power and control, particularly through terror.
That's why he likes Pucci, that's why he put spores inside his followers, that's why his scheme was to control the world, that's why his stand is what it is.
He's obsessed with control. At ANY COST.
Edit: Also, if you want slice of life with a slice of plot...
Have them talk about Dio. That'll both unveil everyones opinion of him and therefore everyones personality (like a slice of life) but it advance the plot since it's talking about it's most dangerous villain.

Because unlike Star Platinum, Hermit Purple is connected directly to Joseph's body.

As for Star Platinum being able to use Hamon by itself, I don't recall ever having spoken on the matter one way or the other. I'm inclinded to say "no", though.

Eva, really? Look, do I have to say this?

STANDS. HAVE. NO. RULES. AT. ALL. They all have the same source (a soul) sure, but they have no shared rules.

The only rules a Stand follows is it's own.

Just out of curiosity, what would happen if one of the Crusaders in DIO's mansion got ahold of the Arrow?

That's a false statement and you know it.

First. Speaking generally, a Stand cannot be acted upon or affected except by another Stand.

Second. Speaking generally, a Stand rapidly becomes less powerful if it moves beyond its maximum optimum range.

Beyond that, my statement that you quoted has less to do with Stand mechanics and more to do with established Hamon mechanics. Namely, Hamon requires a conductor in order to be used beyond one's own physical reach. That conductor can be water, seemingly any kind of organic matter, or certain kinds of metal. But it can't leap through the air from one conductor to another, it has to make physical contact. Thus, because Hermit Purple is in direct contact with (or, "is a part of") Joseph Joestar's body - and possibly because it takes the form of a thorny vine - he can channel Hamon through it. Star Platinum, however, is not. Therefore, Star Platinum cannot be used as a Hamon conductor.

Or, if you really want to get nitpicky over it, then I can say that Hermit Purple has the very unique property or "rule" that, for whatever reason, it alone can conduct Hamon.

The point is, I'm effectively invoking Rule Zero* here, and declaring unilaterally that Star Platinum can't use its own Hamon nor be used to channel Jotaro's Hamon.

*Rule Zero: "What the director GM says, goes, end of discussion. No 'if's, 'and's, or 'but's."

They don't need to know what it is... until one of them accidentally gets stabbed with it. Probably Polnareff.
It's also one thing in an entire mansion of things with no indication it's special in any way. They'd have no reason to interact with it at all; it's not even visually interesting or unusual like the Stone Mask. It's just an old arrow hanging on a wall.

Granted, it's not like forced contrivance is a foreign concept for Jojo, so this is pretty much a devils advocate argument anyway.
