As I'm reading it, it offers to switch perspective and then, as Joseph Joestar, to ask the unknown girl who's opened the door what her problem is and offer to let her stay in his room that night...
...Yeah, I can see why Mizore would be wary.

Mizore is pretty good at parsing Jotaro-speak but she's also freaked out right now. I'm worried she'd hear the "It'd be one thing if he was his old self" part of the subvote and tune out the rest, or that Jotaro would phrase it in an unintentionally menacing manner while Mizore doesn't have her Jotaro-to-Sane translator engaged. So I'd go for not mentioning how Gramps used to be at all.
