Jotaro also actually genuinely loves his mama. (see: that massively panicky-pissed-off reaction he had when she tried to get out of bed despite suffering from Stand Fever)

He's just oblivious to the fact that he normally comes across as a total dick to people who don't know him really well.
...Thinking about it, Jotaroi's family has plenty of experience seeing past this, so Mizore would also be easily seen through?

I want to see Joseph and Mizore meet even more now.

Only Holly has any real experience of dealing with Jotaro. Canon suggests that he and Joseph barely know each other if at all (though certainly they know of each other). The difference is that Joseph's an expert at cold reading (meaning that even if Jotaro's harder for him to get a read on, that difficulty isn't going to last for too long) and that much of Jotaro's attitude gets diluted over the phone.

Have to be face-to-face with him for the real, complete Jojo experience. lol

Holly and Joseph both could definitely read Mizore like a book, though.

As we all know, when an old master oversees your training in martial arts, you will get stronger than if you had trained alone. Even if you were already better than the old master.

Can we really call Joseph a master? Not to insult the man but he was pretty much self taught and relying on his ability to outwit the Pillar men

Looks like Jotaro actually likes his gramps outside life and death struggles.

Not sure if it counts, but he did seem ready to turn Dio into a bloody smear after he drank his blood.

We're talking about a narrative Old Master here, man. Why do you think I mentioned 'Even if you were already better than the old master.'?

That's just how this works. Studying under Joseph increases our power level faster than studying alone. Learn your shounen, man.

Mizore looks at you for a moment, before the corner of her mouth turns up in a smirk. You can tell she's thinking something dirty, and you scowl at her for it.
Yare yare daze...

(That is to say, I find it quite endearing how Mizore and Jotaro can translate each other's (lack-of-)expression into actual thought and intent. )

Hell, I'd dare to call it...

[X]YES! YES! YES!
-[X]Introduce Mizore to Gramps, since she's going to follow you anyway.

Well, he's Old and he's better at using Hamon than we are. You could say that compared to us, his skill is Masterful.

And nothing in the Laws of Kung Fu says there can't be an older, better master than the one you know.

He did spend a month training under Lisa-Lisa and her cronies. Doesn't make him a true Master in teh same sense as Lisa-Lisa, Straights, or Tonpeti, though.
At the very least he should know the theory and how to apply it better than us, even if he is hideously out of practice.

Also, there's a possible side benefit of training with him: it may encourage him to start practicing the ripple himself again, even if only to a minimal degree. Possibly. Assuming he doesn't let his laziness get the better of him too badly after seeing Jotaro's natural talent.

-[X] "If you show up at that place without a disguise, you'll start a panic," you warn your grandfather. You might have more than one person eavesdropping, so make it sound like you're reminding someone to use their human disguise.
