Teamwork's fine, but its not something we can really carry around with us. Against guys like Gin it did wonders, but if we're, say, ambushed on a basketball court alone we can't rely on our friends to be there to back us up.

I'm all for turning our band of kohai's into a team, but we can't be sure that team will always be there, you know?
Never alone.

...Could we make a water sword with hamon?
I don't see any reason you can't, as long as you sufficiently train up your control over water cohesion.

Although ISTR that being a thing from Flame of Recca, no reason Jotaro can't come up on it by himself.

....Terrify the shit out of Moka with it, though.

News to me. Then I guess we can expect complications working with Avdol and Magician's Red, the Stand of fire everywhere.

...and that doesn't answer my question. I am legit curious if this can happen.
Mizore is (if only in my headcanon) pyrophobic, but at the same time, you should never underestimate the distance a Snow-Woman will go to for her husbando.

Mizore (chanelling Mele): "For Jotaro-senpai's love I live, for Jotaro-senpai's love I fight as his love warrior. Snow-Woman Yandere Badass, Mizore Shirayuki!"

To answer your actual question... no. I don't believe that "fire" is a thing that can transmit Ripple in and of itself.
Never alone.

Y'know the stereotype that guys are dumb/non-perceptive?

That's a very easy flaw for stalkers to exploit.

After all, you can't accuse someone of invading your privacy when you don't even know they're doing it.

For those who can't tell:

I. AM. TEASING.

And damn lucky to not be around for either Kuyou fight, then.
She was around for it in the anime, as was Ruby.

On account of the anime pushing Kuyo back to the first season finale, using Witch Hill as the mid-boss level and bringing Mizore in before even that.

Which, honestly? I can't say I disapprove of those decisions for the narrative, given that they only got to do 13 episodes to a season and Tsukune getting outed as a human is one of the peak premises for dramatic tension given the nature of the series.

_____

Actually, come to think of it, Mizore did appear to have some manner of heat/flame phobia in an episode of the second season. ...admittedly, it was that spectacularly shitty episode that focused on curry of all things, but still. (meaning, her fear of heat/flame was in the way of her learning to cook)

....although, that phobia may have been spawned by the trauma from fighting against Kuyo in the first place....

Hrm....

You might be able to find inspiration from Saint Seiya (started in 1986), but I'm not very familiar with it myself.
Oh gods, people, this. For god's sake people, all of this. It fits Star Platinum's thing to a tee, especially considering the utter bullshit that the Gold Saints were capable of pulling when they were relaxed.

Also, Pegasus Meteor Fist, Jojo-style.

The only thing I can think of that Star Platinum and Kars both do is have long hair and wear loin cloths.
Somehow, I don't think that Mizore would not mind at all.

I am totally okay with having Jotaro wear a loincloth if it allows us to Ripple Phenomenon.
I have a hunch that Mizore and half pretty much all the female student population will support me in this.

Why a water sword?

Let's go Water Whip! Honestly it makes a bit more sense when you think about it....

Hamon flows through water and helps it retain a cohesive shape, but it's still Water. So have it flow in a cycle keeping the water in a coherent sphere with part of the cycle forming the 'handle'.

Swing the sphere, and it stretches out and snaps like a whip before flowing back into the sphere all as part of the flow of Hamon.

Not everything can be reproduced though.

Well, if we want to take inspiration from the Gold Saints, the best way would be to train to be able to contain a hell of a lot of Hamon inside ourselves, because that's the basis of most of their physical attacks.

We can use Hamon to generate vibrations to destabilize whatever material we hit and as such appear to cut through it to emulate Capricorn Shura's Excalibur. Or something. I'm sure there's a better pseudoscientific excuse explanation for Magical Arms that Cut Anything.

We can attempt to recreate Cancer's killy laser finger of death whose name I've completely forgotten as a close combat attack by concentrating Hamon on one of Jotaro's fingers and then poke the enemy to transfer all that Hamon Energy to a single spot and do... something, but we know too much Hamon is harmful to anything, and it would completely obliterate Dio if we could land that attack on him.

Then we can do Scorpio's Fourteen Finger Pokes of Doom by combining that with the good old ORAORAORA and focusing on making the Hamon linger and "poison" the enemy.

And if we can figure out a way to multiply the striking power of our attacks using our Cosmo Hamon, we can recreate Taurus Aldebaran's attack, given it was basically a lightspeed bitchslap backed with extreme Super Strength. That should be the simplest one, really.

But unless you can find a pseudoscientific explanation for Hamon to be able to create Ice Beams and whatever spiritual bullshit Shaka used, then we're out of luck with the rest.

Not everything can be reproduced though.
Not so much reproduced as it is the inspiration behind Jotaro's style and attacks. The examples you gave were pretty on point though.

The major thing however, is working out a way to speed ourselves up as that seems to be the base of all the Gold Saints' bullshifighting style. I can think of a few ways, but Jojo will need to read up on human anatomy first, because it involves speeding our perception and our physical body by supercharging our nervous system...or something like that.

Edit: Oh! That could lead to a tactile, one-way telepathy (us to recipient) and maybe Leo's Lightning Abilities

I went with a sword because it's a really simple shape, but honestly, it's water. If we get Jotaro's Hamon control high enough, we could probably make it whatever we want whenever we want. Assuming we have enough water, of course.

You probably could us fire to conduct Ripple because water is one of the products of combustion. Have no idea what effect it would have but you could do it.
