I wonder if there are any rules against students carrying knives? Because we're certainly going to get into fights what with how Tsukune is such an easy target. We should be alright, even for monsters the Joestar buffness is pretty terrifying.

The downside of being Jotaro is his unfortunate tendency to bleed a lot in his fights, which will probably catch Moka's attention fairly quickly.

Don't underestimate Jotaro, the reason his Punch Ghost is so strong is that's he's pretty much able to Sunlight Yellow Overdrive/Oraoraora as a freaking child.

Just imagine how 17-but-looks-30 Jotaro punches.

Moka: It's strange, Jotaro. I just can't stop thinking about you. How manly you look beating people up. The blood dripping down your face during your fights. How good it smells... Thirsty...

No point in hiding it now. Joseph Joestar, commonly known as "JoJo", took on three S-Class Monsters (Pillar Men), and killed two of them. The third ascended to become the Ultimate Life Form, a hypothetical, relative SSS-Class Monster.

One of the two was never heard from again, and the other one is your gramps.

Your gramps is basically Yokai Chuck Norris, if Chuck Norris was also the Boogeyman.

So yeah, that your ready nickname is JoJo naturally intimidates every Yokai around you.

VOTING IS NOW LOCKED.

This fact alone justifies the setting forever

Update 9 - Tooootally not antagonizing the entire class with my questions!
[X] Ask a Question - "So, in theory, if one of these badass monster slaying humans were to show up, how would the school deal with such an unstoppable killing machine?"
-[X]Rest legs on desk.

The class falls into a deathly silence, unsettled at your tone. Your words probably sound sarcastic to their ears, but your tone is strongly at odd with that.
The professor checks her class roster to get your ID. "Kujo Jotaro..." The professor seems chilled, somewhat, as do your classmates. Shaking herself out of her reverie, she asks that you put your feet back under the desk, as it's a disruption to the class.

[]Submit to authority. This woman could probably make your student life here a real pain in the ass...

[]Don't submit to authority. You've beaten the shit out of teachers before and sent them running for the hills.

"As I was saying, Youkai Academy is secured in a parallel dimension, so no human can ever come here. And even if a human did somehow arrive here, they would be immediately killed and disposed of, so let me reiterate, class: you are all completely and totally safe to learn here in peace..."

It almost sounds as if she's speaking more to reassure herself, than her students. Apparently, your name - or, given the emphasis when people repeat it, the nickname "JoJo" - makes everyone at this school feel very anxious or nervous. You feel

[]frustrated. If you intimidate everyone around you without doing anything, they're going to make things harder for you every chance they get...

[]a little intrigued, but mostly indifferent. Yare yare daze...

I hope not. Better when its the next universe's schtick.

Don't have opinion about first one but the second option needs to be intrigued if only so that Jotaro will....well DO something, some investigating.

Let's not forget who this is

It's rare for people to be intimidated at your name before you get a chance to beat down anyone publicly, after all

Fuck you, teacher, this is comfortable. We can't be bothered by your authority, as we are an authority unto ourselves!

Meh, JoJo isn't bothered by such things.

It's annoying if everyone start screaming each time Jotaro do something afterall, man just want some peace and quiet(Joking manner.)

This is Jotaro we're talking about.

I've no strong thoughts on this option, but the sooner we get the introductory phase over, the better IMO. Getting a proper pace going is probably one of the more important aspects of a quest.

Joseph Joestar, rightfully remembered as being ludicrously dangerous to fight.

I wonder if 'Jojo' is in any of our history classes? Perhaps 'Why humanity rule the world 101'? Or 'Being discovered is bad and here's why'.

Hehehe, ah well, we'll just have to live up to dear old Gramps and get our own reputation. If we don't manage it before then I wonder if we could swing spending the summer with our Grandparents in America?
