True enough, although a martial art whose presence seems to be anathema to youkai still isn't doing much for human/monsters relations. That's just another arms race.
Then again, only one side having the ability to resort to meaningful personal violence isn't such a great thing either.
Aren't there plenty of monsters who feel nothing but contempt for humanity?

A martial art is only as fearsome as the warrior using it.

That seems to apply less when just touching the Hamon using user can set monsters on fire.

Didn't say it was wrong, just pointed out that it isn't peace so much as MAD.

Again, that depends on the strength of the guy using Hamon.

We've just never seen a total weakling with the aptitude for it - instead we've only seen total badasses like Jonathan, Baron Zeppeli, Dire, Caesar, Joseph, Lisa-Lisa, and Kars. And to a lesser extent, Loggins and Messina.

Speedwagon, for all his heart, would probably have been an underwhelming Hamon-user.

-[X] "That thing with the ice? . . . Thanks for that." An honest thank-you to the one who had your back there, with a look out of the corner of your eye to where you're pretty sure they are.

Tsukune at least we'll be able to find later.

Tsukune needs time to recover from what just happened, so it's best to give him his space for the time being.

AFAIK Kabuto has only the one movie, God Speed Love.
I sware there was another one I saw that was an alt!verse that led to Tendou giving himself the belt, to my defense I was in the hospital recovering from an accident that left me missing 3 days of memories when I watched it.

Edit sorry Dakka, phone posting grabbed the wrong post for my quote

Joooooojooooo!

And this is why you don't try to take what's ours.

I wonder if Tsukune previously thought we were human but now thinks otherwise? Or perhaps 'knew' we were a monster but hadn't really internalised that his huge and irritable friend could commit great amounts of damage and violence easily if angered.

And then there's the 'kill humans' rule to consider, I don't blame Tsukune for freaking out.

So who's willing to bet we're going to end up with monsters challenging us to prove themselves after this?
