Renascence: A Homura Quest

Honorifics or Western-style Titles? I've used both before, which is bothersomely inconsistent

Oh hey, what if the gangster timeline had no Kyubey, and it was one of the only ones where Homura could have lived with Madoka happily, but she couldn't stay because, well, there were no Witches and by extension, no Grief Seeds?

@Higure, are we going to be able to order weapons from Koko?

We would need to ride some banks wouldnt we?

...I'm still trying to decide. I'm not very familiar with the source, and world wide plots complicate things...

So...maybe?

Fun story.

Various fixes. Only noted the most obvious stuff.
One... Was that your father
lowercase 'was'
exuded
if you remembering right
you -> you're
Two of them in fact with one wearing a yukata
You already stated that there were two of them.
no matter how many years goes by.
goes -> go
Apparently, the Head honcho of their little party is apparently a Mafia Lord.
'apparently' repeated
You've been quite for your part
quite -> quiet
We're not due until three hours
until -> for another
With an enchanted bullet, blew his brains out
blew -> you blew
There was movements behind you
either 'were' or 'movement'
you barely had a moment to realize on who just saved you
delete 'on'
Madoak -> Madoka
Later, a young blue haired girl in the same black suit as Madoka came running.
'Later' -> 'Soon' or 'Shortly'

... Hey, wait a second!

Why was looking for Mikimom a half-hour+ Major Action when checking E-mail and exploring the House/looking for Mikimom together only took 9 minutes and 15 seconds?
Because it could have easily become that if you had woken her, which could have turned it into a multiupdate conversation.

Basically, Major Actions either take a long time or will require votes to carry out. Minor actions can be handled by Homura on her own, and are relatively quick.

Either way, that number is off...fixing.

Edit: Fixed. Also, Mobile Center of the Mind is up.

OMG YES.

Also @AnonymousRabbit Agreed that golden-eyed mafia Madoka is best Madoka.
She defeats Walpurgisnacht via Tachikoma spam, and then during victory party decides to dive with Madoka in celebration, only to overload her dear friend with horrible memories with fries the pinkette's brain!

Not the actual omake. Will write when Finals are done.

News and Studying
You shrug...you don't have a lot to do right now. You're not really in good condition for a weapons raid...you still feel like Madoka's nearby, watching you. Tiring yourself out any further won't do your sanity any favors.

For now, you decide it's best to just catch up on the news and see if any more anomalies are mentioned. Nanoha running around town is strange enough, but you really can't afford to miss anything. You head back to the living room, popping on the TV with a finger snap, "News."

The mainframe dials into a a local news network, and you settle in to watch for a little while. The search for Souchirou Mikuni goes on unabated. You wonder if there's any relation to Oriko, but dismiss the possiblity. This man's an anomaly too, or at least his disappearance is. You can't recall if you've ever seen his name before this loop, but you've certainly never seen him on the news like this.

You wait a few more minutes...a young girl was found dead last night. Nothing unusual there...Kyubey has a tendency to leave corpses in his wake, in those cases where a Witch doesn't bother eating its former body.

There's a report about the disaster at the theater...carbon monoxide, it says. You wonder how much work Kyubey had to do to cover this one up, and a small smile alights on your face at the thought. He may not be able to feel irritation, but you know he does not desire to waste energy on this kind of thing, so...well, it's better than nothing.

Having determined that the news doesn't have anything important, you turn off the TV as they start talking about the visiting Akemi prodigy. They'll probably get everything wrong anyway.

Done with that, you head to the kitchen table, pulling out your laptop and borrowing one of Sayaka's spare notebooks and pencils, as well as those cardiology texts Dr. Smith gave you.

Your heart has gone unhealed for long enough.

2 hours later, you shut the last book...you haven't mastered this yet, obviously, but you certainly understand what's going on better than before.

[Cardiology Texts (3/3)] [Completed]
[+2 to Medical]
[Trait: Amateur Cardiologist (3/5)]

That went well, all things considered, but you've exhausted those books...maybe a change of pace? Then again, you still have the other medical texts...

Okay, no big revelations, but at least you raised a skill some.

See you all tomorrow...and maybe I'll even drop off some Omake Rewards when that time comes.

Also...good night to you all.

Morpheus may be wounded, but he's not quite dead yet.

Someday. *stares wistfully into the distance*
