Also, part of Ambrosia builds is me taking into consideration what you want a build to do. Do we have something like that for Dreamer, or is everyone okay with a Bitterman special?
I was given to understand that part of the thought process with Dreamer is that Phasewalking gives Yara freedom. The freedom to go where she wants to help the people she can. And ironically, the plan was made before she ended up in the Frozen Throne. True Telepathy is also good for her because we noted in the lunch that she's actually quite good at connecting to other people.

So perhaps Phasewalking through dreams or emotions? That sounds narratively resonant, for someone who had to deal with (and succeeded at dealing with!) how Eidolon was in large part about humanizing the enemies we faced, even Katie.

So what are the current thoughts for Song builds? Since it seems people are mainly going for him for next turn.
As mentioned, the core of Daggermaw/Hunch/Soldier X seem locked in for everyone.

From there there are three core options based on providing extra Regeneration or Invuln.

Adamant for Autobiokinesis for cover + healing alongside an extra Strength source for Battle Precog.

Frostbite for Invuln and potential cover from ice armor, Telekinesis off of the Elemental Manipulation, and the Enhanced Strength improving Battle Precog. It has better range than the former with the ice, while having arguably a more fragile cover and defense.

Finally there is Steadfast +1 of Millions or Hydrocity. This doesn't have the extra Enhanced Strength of the others or direct avenue to provide cover. But it has the best perfect defense of the lot and Telekinesis of its own. Of the two I prefer Millions because of the idea of absorbing Kinetic Energy via Millions and then using it for empowering the self or releasing on enemies.

If bringing in if we can use 2 Spoonfuls then a Deadman build opens up for a perfect cover while being semi immortal off the death trigger, and playing around with its Elemental Manipulation. Just a question of money and global AP.

nice nice so yeh Dream is a Survivalist and Protection power set.

Since Teleportation+Invulnerabiliy means good luck killing someone who can just bail while being hard to kill. Like not impossible but its such a pain in the ass especially if phasewalker like Intangibility let her just avoid attacks like a ghost lol.

Funny enough if we rescue Victor along with Homer depending on his Tolernace hed also work for a Deadman since being put in teh fighting pits is the perfect time to awaken and hone a regen power.

The core argument comes down to a thing that Bitterman said that Song would be 'really fitting' to have Combat Precognition, which locks Daggermaw and Mr. Hunch in, and then most people want Soldier X in as well to help rejuvenate his body so his age is less of a concern for our opsec.

Then, most people seem to want something that gives him Invulnerability and also an Elemental or Energy Manipulation to also give him Telekinesis of some sort.

My camp is that Frostbite not only provides that, but is also more efficient in that it also adds an extra Enhanced Strength, which could boost Combat Precog and/or Telekinesis, owing to a theory that a 3 or 4-tag combo would be enhanced or upgraded if a tag is repeated twice.
You could also do it with Chatroom, although that gives a lot less room in the build for other things. Should still be able to fit Steadfast for invuln or Millions Minefield + Hydrocity for TK, while giving it a more support type bent. I guess this would lose out on the Fitness aspect though.

On my side I want Autobiokinesis to pair with Battle Precog. Since it would not only rejuvenate Song but give him a strong body that is vital for any martial artist. Good chance of giving Enhanced Strenght too.
As for Autobiokinesis, it's definitely good but I feel like it's a less unique power set, I'd worry about it just being a slightly different Handyman.

Honestly I do like the idea of a Deadman build.

What an odd way to say that.

And if The Man with a Boyish Smile is let loose, I will personally make sure he takes care of you too. Do you want to go the way of Valiant Blue and Yohanna Oliveira?!"
My pet theory is that he was originally an Algernon who designed the Ladder for the magnates at Elysium Station only for most of the power to go to him instead. It fits with him being described in similar terms to Dynamite Ellie since they both are drawing godlike power from the Stage and the above description of him as a tumor, in this case a tumor inside the Leviathan.

Its even possible that he collaborated with the Woman in Blue given her perspective in the Valiant Gold Ambrosia scene, and was subsequently a target of the Hour's erasure execept whoops, The Stage doesn't strictly follow causality, so it was too late.

Sure, as long as she can do a Jean Gray impression. Well, not the dying part or turning evil part, but whatever she does when she is not in either state.

Oh yeah, the vote.

not really autobiokinesis can take a lot of form like how FFM can do different things.

Marvel Colossus of Pure Metal Body would a form of Autobiokinesis. Same for Wolverine bullshit regen and agelessness.

So it depends on what we build it off. and how combining it with Battle Precog works. While Handyman shapeshifting is bullshit it doesnt mean other transformation are viable especially since Handyman tranform are limited to biology.

Well you havent steered us wrong, and you can definitly cook considering, well *Points at Project Prometheus* so yeah let the Lawyer/QM cook I say. Its going to be interesting to see what kind of insanity Yara will develop.

Also WOW that Frozen Throne team vote is nearly equal...
Team Gay and Bisexual is at 18 votes, and Team Leading Ladies (With idiot Yuri's at home) is at 14 but with some other votes that are the same its up to 17.
People really want to see Hilarity Insues huh? (Myself included)

My understanding is that the goal is to have Yara be focused on defense/support. So, she can protect the Prometheans with psychic weaknesses and act as an information gatherer. I don't think we had a firm idea how she'd do all that, but I imagine combat precog + true telepathy has some strong support potential and then phasewalking for her own defense.

I'm not sure about Phasewlaking though Dreams, that seems underwhelming, we would be better off with Phaswalking between places.
I'm just spitballing here. I'm fine with Bitterman cooking as he sees fit, but he occasionally takes ideas that make sense or which he likes, and I don't feel shy about giving my thoughts on the build.

I honestly want our dearest Lady out of town for a while to let Wolong be the guy in charge

Cause like- why not? We're on the same side, he's a leader, we're thinking on merging our two teams anyways so...

Oh and I Want To Play As Wolong!

[] Plan: Oh God, Who's in Charge Now?

This would be a disater, the most experienced person left if we pick this is Black Swan, who has only 3 months of experience at being a Hero (and she isn't the brightest)

Hey, wait! A thought occurs!

Leizi does have one unique bonus for if she was inside the Frozen Throne: Direct contact with another person who told her about it!

Memoria survived until the Movement, and she even briefly hooked up with him. There's no way that she wouldn't have asked him about his rescuing of Nox and what the inside was like. She'd have intel, she'd know how it works.

I get the "its funny" element but genuine question for the people voting that way. Do you think Doctor Silver and potentially Menagerie Witch can be controlled here without both of the primary leaders here to force them back into line? That MW won't let her rage take over and do something dangerous if she catches a whiff of PLP's involvement, or Doctor Silver won't try do something we can't take back to Jorogumo and Sparksurfer?

Even ignoring the story elements here Leizi would be missing out on, Leizi knows how the Triad operates better than anyone else. She knows what to look for here and has the commanded respect which likely would help with the magical girls (and maybe White Tiger?) and just having the best possible perspective of how to deal with this fight.

If its just wanting the Katie interactions and potentially a MW bowl 2.0 win then fair enough that's a coherent reason, but I'm just looking at the issues this potentially opens us up to and trying to see how we deal with them here easily. Not trying to be snarky here, I'm just trying to understand it.

So I was reexamining some of my builds in light of the new synergies and doing a bit of a rework (and adding fast pass) to my Shelley infiltration build gets me this:

Paranormal Activity
Memoria (4) + The Outsider (4) + Mister Hunch (1) + Daggermaw (1) + Millions Minefield (1) = Potency 11

Teleportation + Clairvoyance x2 + Transformation x2 + Energy Manipulation x2 + Invisibility + Enhanced Strength + Enhanced Senses
= Teleportation + Intangibility + Telekinesis + Battle Precognition

For some full on "She's in your walls" type poltergeist shenanigans on an already extremely ESP focused character.

Sidenote: Battle Precognition and Telekinesis are extremely easy to get together, huh?
