Even ignoring that personals are getting redesigned, Ellie has 10 Ops. She is literally at the soft cap, normal training would be a waste for her.
She's at 9 Ops, actually. It's her Hit and Rep which are at 10 as of this update.

...Though personally, I think she should take Espionage training with Mona. If we send LL or Handyman with Yara and Katie to the Frozen Throne, the rest of the team is going to be rather low in terms of ESP and it could afford to be a bit higher.

President Thule is definetly a refference to the Thule Society right?

What's that? Is that USA thing, because I from Denmark.

second off, it's a German cult/secret society. It was a "learning group" that later became the first few Nazis.

The Thulers were the first Nazi's. They were real intrested in Fringe and/or Psuedo-Sciences. If you ever wondered about why the Nazi are intrested with the Occult in Media, they are the reason.

I'm genuinely confused by the escalation criticism, because this was an explicit deescalation. Your enemies are weaker! They're pausing their plans against you! They're fighting amongst themselves! Stockpile is going rouge and has a beef with White Hawk! You have good!SB! And you've gone from god-god fight to . . . less than that.

If the concern is with not having a breather moment, that's coming.
Having a bunch of tense plot threads show up literally right after the big victorious conclusion probably just scrambled people's brain a bit. Ending the chapter there, and posting the rest like tomorrow after everyone got to celebrate a bit, probably would have changed the vibes a lot.

Well, finally caught up. Was a little worried I'd miss the vote since the update apparently tly dropped right after I went to bed.

Anyway, this update was Peak, was not expecting that outcome for SB at all and I hope Katie can come out of this okay.

For the FT group, I'm definitely leaning toward Menagerie Witch for Stat reasons, and I also kind of want to do LL because it sounds fun, narratively.

As for the Yara build I want to try to make the case for my own build (again). So:

[] Plan: Mercury Mind
-[Seraph] (6)
-[Adamant] (3)
-[Soldier X] (1)
-[Eastwood] (2)
-[Daggermaw] (1)
-Potency Reduction: 3
-Total Potency: 13

Which has:
True Telepathy + Flight + Elemental Manipulation + Transformation x2 + Enhanced Strength x2 + Regeneration x2 + Fitness + Mental Manipulation + Construct Creation + Enhanced Senses + Clairvoyance

Coming out of it with True Telepathy, Autobiokinesis, Battle Precognition, and Telekinesis as synergies, and Flight, Mental Manipulation, and Construct Creation as leftover keywords.

Every keyword here ties in to some aspect of the build, True Telepathy and Mental Manipulation create a pseudo feedback loop, being able to incite emotions in order to absorb them, this then gets linked into the physical aspects by Construct Creation working into Autiobiokinesis, fueling both attack power and regen, and the Autobiokinesis allows for extreme versatility from Construct Creation, Telekinesis allows the constructs to be controlled even at range, and Battle Precognition further enhances battlefield awareness and keeps Yara and her allies safe. Even Flight works with Telekinesis to allow decent mobility.

All in all, it's a versatile build mainly focused on melee and psychic manipulation, with high survivability, the ability to cover allies both physically and psychically, strong melee ability from the x2 Enhanced Strength going into Battle Precognition, ranged combat via Construct Creatiin and TK, and mobility via Flight. The only thing really lacking is Espionage, and that partially covered by Yara's already being decent.

"You remember your orders?" Katie asks it.

"Yes," the clone says without emotion, "Should you appear to be reverting to Socialite Butterfly, I will kill you."

"Good," Katie says.

I am curious about Katie's mental framework. Is she a total amnesiac and was only told about SB by Yara, or does she get faded dreams about a sad woman who was hurt by her parents and used her dolls to send that hurt into the world one-hundred-fold?

Ellie rode a motorbike to the lunch. Presumably she owns it.

The Thule society ended up mostly getting sidelined in real life because Hitler thought the occult was bullshit, but they get brought up a lot in superhero comics and urban fantasy as the branch of Nazis dedicated to weird shit.

Ellie rode a motorbike to the lunch. Presumably she owns it.

No, it belongs to Wolong, she just borrowed it.

"Wow, sweet hog, Ellie!" Handyman calls in his regular voice, "Where'd you get it?"

"It's Uncle Gabriel's . . . he's ridden it maybe once? There's less than a hundred miles on the odometer. And it's a motorcycle, not a pig?"

"'Hog' means 'motorcycle', VG," Handyman says.

"I see. I have much to learn," she says with a gleam in her eye.

If Yara has glimpsed the future, can she warn us about the damage that will happen when the BlackGold quantum yuri superposition collapses out of its will-they-won't-they state?

Surely it will be a devastatingly powerful psychic event.

No clue on the other two though (Creature's Den and Rung of the Ladder)
Rung might have been "Vacation Episode" Personal Action.

[X] Plan: Bodyguard Duty
-[X] Chatelet
-[X] Handyman

[X] Ambrosia Dose: Dreamer From Beyond Our World
-[X] [Seraph] (Potency 6)
-[X] [Memoria] (Potency 4)
-[X] [Steadfast] (Potency 2)
-[X] [Daggermaw] (Potency 1)
-[X] Potency Reductions (- 3 Potency)
