You know, just gonna throw it out there-

We might not have every tag out there yet too ya know? It would make sense that some of the powerful OP synergies are locked behind Keywords we haven't unlocked yet- that's good game design!

Not saying having every option at the beginning is bad, but by locking away some stuff, their is something new you can toss at you're player's faces!

We've been told that there are often multiple ways to reach something.

For instance, we've been told that Telekinesis requires Clairvoyance, Enhanced Strength, and then one of Energy/Elemental Manipulation.

Telephasing is similar: Clairvoyance x2, Teleportation, Transformation, and then one of Invisibility or Invulnerability.

Hah, yeah, the only X-Classes I can think of right now would be King and Interlocutor of the ones listed. Scarlet Maturity has the impact of an X-Class, but he's really an A-lister by default who just happened to have exactly the right power at exactly the right time to spool up to "The world exists at my sufferance" level that he is now. He's nowhere remotely as scary right out of the box.

SM is basically like EB in that it can reach X-Class. E-B with a bursh & SM through Grinding deaths.

King would have an S-Class power. He's just very creative about how he uses it.

Yeah, that's an element that's easy to miss: in-universe all of this is RPF, and while there's plenty of explicit RPF, and also a distressing amount of explicit underage NSFW content on ao3, the overlap between those two categories... as far as I can tell is next to nonexistent?

If I had to guess, while King obviously is very very very strong, he's also very smart, very skilled, and has spent a lot of time training and learning about his power. He probably read a lot about atomic theory so that he can do more.

So, X-Class then is "Can singlehandedly wipe out all life on the planet and there's not really anything that can be done to stop them except killing them before they do it"

Which makes me wonder What the fuck is it that would be in a nine power synergy that turns you into an Extinction Level Event?
 
Huh Dynamite is X-Class caouse depending on Power fusion she can cause extinction?

Apiary being summonable who is another x class tracts I suppose. Unless its dynamite causing so much noise in the stage that it can wake Eldritch abominations.
 
And yeah, for all that she's a literal supermassive black hole who can cause nuclear detonations if she's not careful, Black Swan is not X-Class

So it's not 'Purely' a biggatons thing that the line is drawn by. Scarlet Maturity is strong enough to split the earth, King can just apparently unmake the planet, but they're all S-Rankers.

X-Class almost feels like "The problem isn't "This can destroy the world"" It's "This is a Fate Worse than Death" kind of thing.
