This object had gained a minor perception field (Lvl 1) which makes it more difficult to focus on for other people. So long as a reasonable excuse exists for its presence, this object will not draw undue attention and will fade from someone's memory shortly after leaving their field of view.

It was...

Not perfect. But it was a step in the right direction!

Quick, Alec, to the Imp-mobile!

[60s Batman transition]

A student in a middle school wore a shirt that said "there are only two genders" and he got suspended for it.
Genders are not the same as sex and even if the shirt said there were only two sexes exceptions like the various forms of intersex make the technically incorrect, the worst kind of incorrect.

trap alabaster in a pillory, gag mouth open, aimed and locked mouth facing upward where a water dropper clock without the bottom constantly drips poison at the exact rate to defeat him in 5 seconds before he resets the second after before he dies from the poison

Rule 2: Don’t Be Hateful - Trans people are not mentally ill
You should read some of the things about Trans rights and participation in female sports. Biology is the argument used by one side and the other goes for "transphobia" based on that biology. So yes, apparently, biology is sexist and, to add to that, transphobic now. Hell, gender is being called into question. A student in a middle school wore a shirt that said "there are only two genders" and he got suspended for it.

People don't care about the facts anymore. They really don't.
We old people call those people insane and professional victims. We used to laugh them out of the room and blatantly ignored them. Like the Amish when they outcast members.

He could put a weighty super-sharp double-edged blade on a pendulum and swing it from the ceiling. Every few seconds, it beheads him again.

It's like one of those desk toys with the bird drinking water, only it's blood instead.
It's going to have to be motorized so it doesn't eventually get stuck in his neck. I'm not sure what happens if his body resets while there's an axe where his neck should be but it's probably not healthy.

We used to do a lot of things differently back in the old days. Things change, advances are made and what was right back then is wrong now. Nothing new about that.

He dies until its pulled out of the way. But Magic's reality rewrite can prevent the Shard's usual teleport shenanigans.

Al needs to use his phantoms to increase his constitution to heal faster. It'd also increase his mental stats for his ability regen. It'd let him level up the phantoms faster, too, which would improve his stats even more.

Wasn't that synergy bonus with Phantom Force when he overlays them from the magnetic powers he could have gotten in NYC, but skipped over because he was there for Mantellum's anti-Thinker effect, and not being piloted by a bunch of ferret-brained quest players always chasing the new shiny? Pretty sure it was.

Honestly, what was he expecting? He didn't check the home for cameras or see if Victor mentioned him to anyone else. The fact that Crusader was also at the dinner should have been a clue that more of the Empire might know about him being there that night.

Honestly I like this more down to earth style heroing so far wish it continued for a bit longer but I know it wont because duh he has to beat Scion somehow

cape phone with civilian identities, either amateurish mistake or he legit underestimated Alec, this alone makes the PRT able to Al Capone Kaiser and make the empire crumble due to closer looking of the
Nothing obviously 'cape' on the phone, unless Victor was in costume - it does potentially incriminate Anders in the assault though. The problem is that Alec probably doesn't want to "So anyways, I murdered two members of the E88 in cold blood out of costume..." to be his first appearance on the PRT's radar.

That goes triple if there's any kind of implied truce around healers that Othala gets to benefit from, something I've seen in other fics (sure, it'd be ridiculous for such a thing to exist, but this is Worm, and he doesn't know that it doesn't)

The only thing I can foresee Al is making the van an Ice Cream one, one that strangely has no customers. Lots of the type driving about.

Hmm. Does this mean that MP has forgotten the mark she left on the van? Does it just return to her then, or is it going to be there forever out of reach, because she has forgotten about it?

Good point! I mean, there wasn't exactly any skill involved in that fight but there was definitely a spot where Al had to readjust his grip to, er, 'finish the job'.
He was also in a fight with Victor, who would be unreasonably skilled in melee combat (although also severely hampered right now due to being mostly dead from phosphine poisoning).

I don't like making perks retroactive. So, for her and anyone else already familiar with it, they remember it just fine. Finding it again? Not so easy.

I've got a few plans for MP coming up soon. I'm operating under the assumption that she is aware of her 'marks' and where they are in relation to her and other things she's marked.

If I'm wrong about that, it'll change some of my plans, though...

At this point, I hope Alchemist secures the help of some peers of Terra and deprive her access to coffee. That'll show her.

Pfft. If you're wrong about that, well, good writing excuses a multitude of sins. As long as it works for the story you want to tell, I'm not gonna give a single solitary fuck about the canon specifics of the power of a minor character who's barely mentioned save as a component for a patchwork zombie of a Frankenstein's Monster.

Based on how worm powers work her markers probably have limits such as wearing off after so long and can't be teleported too if they are too far away would again add about hunting it down being hypocritical given her unmasking comment when he was removing Ravager's knives but she's an ex ward and that is something they'd do see kid win thinking something was off when making a wards pitch to Chariot so illegally hacked into his emails without communicating with anyone.

:D FTFY

Secure help from Terra's peers by swearing to 🐲BAHAMUT or 🐲TIAMAT wherever he feels like verbally expressing his frustration.

Alec already had the dragon deities' attention from his adventures in the DC-verse, so repeatedly proclaiming a Name of Powaaahhh(TM) will convey Alec's dissatisfaction with Terra-Chan.

Not ☠️DEATH or :confused:DELIRIUM as they cannot interfere outside their domains, and not Odin All-Father as the manipulative chessmaster doesn't have the desire to get directly involved.

Also Coumadin, which US pharmaceutical companies and their minions push on their victims patients.

Yes, doctors prescribe rat poison as "medicine."
Ehh, that honestly doesn't really surprise me, and shouldn't really surprise you. All medicines are also poisons, it just depends on the dose. Taking all of a minute to google, I find that its a blood thinner, which does indeed have practical uses, and those practical uses are indeed the sort of thing that can kill you if you take too much or do risky shit after taking it.
