My character was created because all the other wishes were so boring and white bread. Every one is so vague and nice like they're afraid to have the character have done a bad thing in the past when in Madoka Kyubey is a conman who targets people who are either arrogant, not thinking things through, entitled, or at their lowest points. I think it's more interesting for the Dark Magical Person made a bad wish in the past that motivates their heroism in the present. It's a angle I've never seen done before.

Im just vibing honestly. I suppose once we get to the actual story + seeing how the power sets develop is where the real fun begins. I trus MrKermie in creating some fleshed out characters no mather what plan wins....
As for the wish..... hmmm wishimg for peace.... that kinda could be monkey pawed actually. What kind of peace? Mental? Physical? Emotional? No more battles? (Youre at peace if your dead) want peace from your horrible past? Ok *poof* no more memories of your past!

But yeah thats the thing with wishes it kinda defines their personality a bit and probably their powersxand development. Trying to build character because they regreted their wish could be cool. But for most the wish is gonna be tied to a the archetype their building. Things like never wanting to be a weapon again, revenge on thise who wrong them, wishing for success in life. Things like that can be part of a character.... and they can ALL go wrong if the granter takes the Word of the wish instead of the spirit of it. Plus if theyre open ended like a "wish for peace"... thats where the spicy tragedy lies.

Can I get the input of those voting for my plan before I go ahead with making the change? (mostly asking because mass pinging is something that is usually to be avoided...)

QM has expressed the willingness to exchange the curent wish I'm using in my plan (aka "Their wish was to live a peaceful life.") for "They wished for some guarantee of safety in the future.". Before making such a change, I'd like to get your opinion on the matter of leaving the wish as it is or making the change QM is willing to allow.

But, nobody seems mad with the mass ping, so once at least 4 people get on board with that idea via likes or replies, you should do it. It won't be that hard to implement as a mechanic either.

Earlier, I expressed some doubts about the wish I've had for the character. Ashen then jokingly suggested that I could rework my original wish into an IOU of getting a guarantee of safety later on. After some deliberation, QM was willing to allow me to change my wish from the original version to the new proposal of "They wished for some guarantee of safety in the future" (and also expressed the belief that it wouldn't be hard to implement in-quest, so it's not), but I wanted to get the opinion on those who voted for my plan first before going ahead with the change.
With the permission of QM and having currently 4 people agreeing with the change, I went ahead and changed the original wish for the plan to "They wished for some guarantee of safety in the future.". Nevertheless, I will still hear opinions regarding the wish matter (aka keeping the wish I've had at the start by reversing the change I've just made or keeping the changed wish).

I would probably prefer the first wish, since it can be interpreted both as a search for safety for oneself and as a desire to end threats to people's peaceful life in general, but whatever. If you think the new wish is better, I'm not going to insist otherwise.
